According to the findings, there are 27 different types of love—platonic, romantic, sexual, a love of nature, religious love, etc. Those surveyed were asked where they felt these various types of emotions and how deeply. 

We'll laser-focus on the ones you're probably most curious about: romantic and sexual love. According to the research, romantic love is felt in the head, heart, and stomach, and sexual love is felt in the groin. (Not a shock.) Although the response to sexual love was expected, there's a tidbit that caught us off guard regarding romantic love...

An interesting (and unexpected) finding about love

Oftentimes when we're wrapped up in a new relationship and just a little too wound up, bordering on delulu, we're told to act with our heads instead of our hearts. We need to snap out of it and be rational. But romantic love does require us to use our brains. So the next time your friends badger you about getting too caught up in that new Hinge match, you can tell them your head's on straight.  

Per the findings: "Interestingly, all love types were reported to 'feel' strongly in the head. Another body area implicated strongly in most love types is chest, but this embodiment and its extent progressively decreases depending on the love type."

When romantic love—or any type of passion for that matter—really heats up, it's a full-body experience. 

"True love, love for life and passionate love were felt in the whole body," the study further uncovered.

What has Lizzo said in response to the allegations?

On Thursday, August 3, Lizzo took to her Instagram page to speak out against the allegations.

"These last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing," started the singer. "My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized.

“Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.

"These sensationalised stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional."

The star went on to write: "As an artist I have always been very passionate about what I do. I take my music and my performances seriously because at the end of the day I only want to put out the best art that represents me and my fans.

"With passion comes hard work and high standard. Sometimes I have to make hard decisions but it's never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or like they aren't valued as an important part of the team.

"I am not here to be looked at as a victim, but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be these last few days," she continued. "I am very open with my sexuality and expressing but I cannot accept or allow people to use that opened to make me out to be something I am not. There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as woman in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.

"I'm hurt but I will not let the good I've done in the world be overshadowed by this. I want to thank everyone who has reached out in support to lift me up during this difficult time."

In unexpected and tragic news, Euphoria's Angus Cloud, who played Fez, has died at 25 years old at his home in Oakland, California. 

A statement from the actor's family reads: "It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."

Fans everywhere are shocked and heartbroken. 

Actor from 'Euphoria', Angus Cloud, passes away at 25

The family's statement noted the actor's mental health struggles and the hurt he felt from losing his father. 

"Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss," the statement continued, according to multiple entertainment news sources. "The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence."

At the time of publication, the team behind Euphoria also released a statement saying: "We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time."

Though new to the acting world, Angus had set himself up for an exciting career. After Euphoria season 2, he snagged roles in the forthcoming Your Lucky Day and Freaky Tales. He had been lined up to appear in an untitled monster thriller from Universal Pictures in 2024, per IMDB. He had also been working on partnerships with brands like Puma and Ralph Lauren, according to his Instagram feed. 

“He was not what you would expect,” Euphoria's casting director, Jennifer Venditti, told Variety. “He has this rough, street quality about him, but he’s a very sensitive and curious and open person. Just really warm, and incredible on camera. Very charming, and told incredible, funny stories."

People not only loved his character but the way in which they related to the man behind Fez. (TikTok loved Angus Cloud's all-too-relatable role prior to Euphoria, too.) He won't soon be forgotten, as evidenced by an outpouring of support on social media.

Perhaps Harry Jowsey and Georgia Hassarati's romance was too much to handle.

"All my friends heard how he spoke to me and were so appalled by it, that it actually forced me to see that this is not someone I want to be with,” she said. 

All in all, Hassarati insists that her ex is the problem, considering he is the one who always ends relationships over alleged cheating. She further claimed that he simply projected his issues onto his girlfriends. 

"He’s the only issue," she stated. "And it’s sad how much he has such an intense hatred for any woman that enters his life and any woman that leaves his life."

On Tuesday, July 25, the world learned that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro called off their engagement, but the two remained mum about specifics. According to sources, the former couple still have respect for one another, which led us to believe that the breakup was somewhat amicable. Internet sleuths, however, have another theory.

Did Rauw cheat on Rosalía?

If you consult TikTok, there are a few red flags that do not paint a terribly rosy picture for the couple, but are these claims just that?

Allegations suggest that Rauw cheated on the Spanish songstress with a Colombian model who attended one of his shows in Mexico. Allegedly, the behavior went unnoticed at the time, but the woman later confided in a friend and colleague about the infidelity. In turn, the friend began to spread the news. 

Given that Rauw and Rosalía announced their engagement in March 2023, we were surprised to learn that their relationship had ended so abruptly. In a Billboard interview earlier this year, shortly after "Beso" dropped, it seemed as though the two were on a high, even if they admitted to having different work styles. 

"We watch each other’s backs," Rauw told the publication. "At a visual, stage level, we share ideas; also styling, outfits. We’re two individual, independent artists, but we’re a couple. And we kind of represent each other mutually. If I’m going to go out there and do something crazy, I sometimes think, 'Heck, no: I’m Rosalía’s boyfriend.' I need to raise the bar, understand?"

Shortly after these rumors began to spread, Rauw took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, July 26, with a lengthy message in Spanish to address the claims. He actually revealed that the engagement ended months ago, and that a third party was not responsible for their split.

And though it took a bit of time, ultimately Rosalía came forward with a statement of her own—a short one. On Thursday, July 27, she took to Instagram Stories to address the rumors and all that had transpired. Her message was in Spanish and roughly translates to, "I love, respect, and admire Raul very much. I don't pay attention to peculiarities, we know what we have experienced. This moment is not easy, so thanks to everyone for understanding and respecting."

Given that we saw them so in love just a few short months ago, this whole ordeal definitely caught us by surprise. In that same Billboard interview, Rosalía told Rauw: "I’m lucky to be your partner, and I want to be there for you, sabes? And I feel you’re there for me, independent of the careers. For me, our relationship is first, and then there’s everything else."

On Thursday, August 10, Rauw dropped "Hayami Hana," seemingly his breakup song for Rosalía. In the emotional ballad, he revealed that leaving was never an option and suggested their lifestyles are what tore them apart. Given that he had some pretty nasty allegations thrown his way, this appeared to be an effort to set listeners straight. Though the song is sung in Spanish, the opening lyrics translate to:

Judging from some of the comments, listeners tuning in via their FYP page are not terribly convinced. "How does she know? Is Rosalia telling her," one user commented. Another wrote, "what did i tell you, im pretty sure the first time she left him was when she dropped despecha."

While the who-dumped-who argument seems to be alive and well, other fans wish the commentary would stop. "Can we plz leave them alone and give them space to go through this, it's hard enough," one TikToker replied.

It's time to enter the Dream World! But is Barbie streaming anywhere yet? 

One of the most-anticipated movies of the year hit theaters on Friday, July 21, after having its big, bright-pink premiere at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 9. The release followed a truly iconic promo tour that garnered hilarious Barbie movie memes (we're especially partial to the Barbie vs Oppenheimer memes), too-cute Barbie outfits and the "Barbiecore" fashion trend, and AI-generated Barbie houses for every state (some of which were pretty controversial over on TikTok). 

Needless to say, everyone has been very excited to see Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and the rest of the Barbie crew enter the plastic 'n fantastic universe of the world's most iconic fashion doll. But is Barbie available on streaming just yet? Here's everything you need to know. 

Where is 'Barbie' streaming? How to watch the Margot Robbie movie

As of now, no, the Barbie movie is not available to stream. The only way to watch the Greta Gerwig-directed flick is to head out to your local cinema.

Since Barbie is being distributed by Warner Bros., when it does hit a streaming platform, it will be on Max (or HBO Max outside the United States). And it will be available on that platform this fall, Discovery CEO David Zaslav revealed to The Wrap. 

In the meantime, however, you can enjoy Barbie from the comfort of your own couch when the blockbuster hits premium video-on-demand on Tuesday, September 12 at midnight Eastern Time. You can rent the flick for $24.99 or purchase it for $29.99 on select services like Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, and Vudu. 

Per Decider, the digital release will include more than 30 minutes of bonus content, including the following featurettes: “Welcome to Barbie Land,” “Becoming Barbie,” “Playing Dress-Up,” “Musical Make Believe,” “All-Star Barbie Party,” and “It’s A Weird World.”

Is 'Barbie' a musical?

No, the comedy is not a traditional musical (here's the Barbie movie plot?, in case you're curious), but it definitely does have musical elements, from that star-studded Barbie soundtrack (Dua Lipa! Lizzo! Ice Spice!) to that instantly iconic "I'm Just Ken" power ballad performed by Ryan Gosling himself. 

But the musical comparisons don't end there. As director Greta Gerwig told Vogue, in crafting the look of Barbie, she pulled influences from several old Technicolor musicals, such as 1948's The Red Shoes and 1964's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. “They have such a high level of what we came to call authentic artificiality,” Gerwig said. “You have a painted sky in a soundstage. Which is an illusion, but it’s also really there. The painted backdrop is really there. The tangibility of the artifice is something that we kept going back to.”

How long is the new 'Barbie' movie?

The runtime for the Barbie movie is one hour and 54 minutes. And the movie is rated PG-13 for some language, light violence and some sexually suggestive material. 

Does 'Barbie' have a post-credits scene?

While it's become customary to expect a big summer blockbuster to end with one of those sneaky post-credit scenes, don't expect one from Barbie. Aside from a poppy credits reel that is very much in line with what you can expect from the fun-loving film, you don't have to linger in the theater waiting after the screen goes black.

Unfortunately, one day after the Wimbledon sighting, People released an announcement on Monday, July 17, that Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are reportedly separating after two years of marriage. The couple originally met in 2020 and tied the knot in May 2021. 

An anonymous source revealed to the publication that the two actually went their separate ways earlier this year and they "have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship." At the time of publication, neither party has responded to the news.

The singer seemed at her best in her marriage, and considering reports from her wedding surfaced that said "the room was so happy and full of love," this sad news was definitely unexpected.

What happened between Ariana and Dalton?

Ari kept her marriage rather private, which, in turn, made onlookers even more curious about what was going on in her love life. At this time, it's not clear what caused the two to go their separate ways. Grande had been in the U.K. filming Wicked, and the US-based realtor was likely busy back at home in the states. When the two first began seeing one another, reports surfaced that Dalton preferred to remain out of the limelight.

#Scandoval? What about it? There's no holding back Ariana Madix, Love Island USA's newest villa resident. 

Now that the vicious Vanderpump Rules reunion and the chaotic Tom/Raquel affair are behind us, the reality star is moving forward, seemingly on the spinoff of the beloved British series. On Sunday, July 9, Madix took to Instagram to mimic the narrator from the dating show, saying: "This week, a hot new bombshell enters the villa." She topped it off with the caption: "Islanders: Ready to shake things up? Don't worry, I don't bite."

Though Madix has been linked to Daniel Wai since her split from Tom Sandoval, we do know she'll be making her way onto the show—as a surprise guest! In the second week, fans can catch the Pump Rules star at the villa to hang with the contestants.

Love Island UK's Casa Amor recoupling is always one of the highlights of every season, with plenty of drama before, during and after the recoupling. And this year was no different...

Zachariah and Kady

Prediction: Zachariah twists to recouple with Molly and Kady returns single

Zachariah was building a strong connection with Molly before she was unexpectedly dumped (they were one of the villa's strongest couples alongside Ty and Ella). Now that she's back, he's been very open about the fact that he wants to continue to pursue that connection. 

Kady, on the other hand, was enjoying getting to know Zachariah but while she was still open to meeting new people, there were no sparks with the Casa Amor boys. This means it's likely she will walk back into the villa single and get the shock of her life when she sees Molly next to Zach. Someone seems to have a soft spot for returning islanders...

Montel and Leah

Prediction: They both stick with each other but drama will follow

Leah went to Casa open but quickly realized her heart was with Montel so our bet is that she will return alone.

Montel seemed to be closed off at first (he wore Leah's sleep mask to bed on the first night without her) but after some encouragement from the boys, he got a little bit too close to Tink. The two shared a kiss on the terrace and while he said on the confessional that he felt guilty and missed Leah, he still kissed and cuddled Tink in bed that night. So we predict that he will stick with Leah but will have some explaining to do some Movie Night... 

Jess and Mitch

Prediction: Jess comes back alone and Mitch twists with Abi

These two are in a friendship couple so they could get to know other people without any regrets—which is exactly what Mitch did with Abi.

However, Jess was just starting to rekindle her connection with Sammy, after they were voted least compatible couple and banned from recoupling with each other for a while. She explored some of the boys in Casa but seemed to hint during a chat with Leah that her heart is with Sammy. So if she comes back single she will not be in a couple (as Mitch is definitely recoupling with Abi) so let's hope Jess isn't instantly dumped... 

Catherine and Scott

Prediction: Catherine twists with Elom and Scott sticks with Catherine

Catherine is very into Elom so we can see her bringing him back to the main villa.

And while much was said about Scott's true intentions when it comes to Cat, the truth is he hasn't been moving mad while she's gone—which could mean he sticks with her. 

Ella and Tyrique

Prediction: Ella twists with Ouzy and Tyrique sticks

Apart from seeing the shock on the girls' faces when they see Molly, this is the most awaited moment of the evening. While Tyrique was very resistant to becoming serious with Ella, he has actually remained faithful to her during Casa and has even admitted he could be in love. 

It's a different story over in Casa though. Ouzy, someone Ella knows back home, seemed to be really turning Ella's head so she could twist to recouple with him and pursue that connection. After all, he's only had eyes for her while it took Ty several girls to realize what he truly wanted...

Single people: Whitney and Sammy 

Prediction: Whitney comes back with Lochlan and Sammy recouples with Gabby

Whitney and Lochlan got on like a house on fire so it's almost certain she will come back with him. 

Sammy is also single but was about to rekindle things with Jess until the Casa girls walked in. Since then he's explored connections with Gabby and Amber but seemed to prefer Gabby.

And we're off! Maya Jama walked in and the Casa girls lined up by the fire pit...

First recoupling and Sammy picks Amber! It was between her and Gabby.

Whitney also returned with Lochlan by her side and they look *very* cute. 

Next up is Zachariah who decided to recouple with Molly! 

Kady's turn and she came back alone. She was also surprised to see Molly!

Things were very tense between Zachariah and Kady so we can expect a tough conversation...

Scott is not happy that Catherine came back with someone else... another tense conversation to be had post recoupling. Ouch!

Time for Mitch to make a decision and—unsurprisingly—he recoupled with Abi. 

Jess (who was in a friendship couple with Mitch but rekindling things with Sammy) comes back alone.

Jess is happy that Mitch found someone but disappointed that Sammy found another connection with Amber. She's also one of the few girls who actually noticed Molly is back! 

Okay, deep breaths everyone—it's time for Tyrique and Ella. Speaking before his decision, Ty said it's been a 'difficult few days' without Ella and that he hopes she would have stuck with him.

In the preview for tomorrow, Ty says again he's done with Ella... And there's more trouble coming for Leah and Montel and Catherine and Scott.

According to new research, our ever-growing Amazon wishlist and mastering of TikTok trends (hello, red wine makeup) could apparently be detrimental when it comes to our love lives. 

Too much time behind a screen has the possibility to turn those beige flags red and sabotage a relationship. So, we ask you this: is it time to put down the phone (at least for a little while)?

What are the biggest digital dealbreakers in relationships?

RANT Casino surveyed 3,000 people in the U.K. to uncover which online obsessions are the biggest turn-offs to people in relationships. Can you guess what they are, perhaps from experience? 

Per the survey results, the top digital turnoffs—and the percentage of respondents who would break up because of them—are as follows: 

• Online porn, at 32.97% of respondents
• OnlyFans, at 18.30%
• Online gambling, at 18.23%
• Online shopping, at 10.23%
• Online gaming, at 8.47%
• Working (on a laptop or computer), at 3.47%
• TikTok use, at 3.47%
• Instagram use, at 2.47%
• YouTube use, at 2.20%

Social media use comes in at the bottom of the pack and according to the findings, most people aren’t fazed by FYPs and newsfeeds: TikTok was only given as the top reason for calling it quits by 3.47% of participants, followed by Instagram at 2.67%, and finally Youtube at 2.20%.

Given that social media has practically taken on a life in itself, we're not surprised that people aren't terribly concerned with it. However, one contender irks people of all backgrounds: online porn was the number one answer given for digital dealbreakers, across every region and age range for both men and women, according to RANT Casino. 

Oddly enough, sexperts say watching porn together with your significant other is actually encouraged. Findings from the Frontiers in Psychology suggest that those pairs who watch NSFW material with one another experienced a higher relationship and sexual satisfaction than partners who do not or who only view such content solo. Think this realization will change the survey results? 

Rounding out the dealbreakers are online habits like gambling, shopping (guilty!), gaming and, at a lesser level, working on a computer. (Can't really help that these days, huh?)

This is the first time we've heard of a friendship between Sydney Sweeny and Izabel Goulart but we're living for it, as Sydney featured three cute moments between them in her carousel. One such snap saw the duo both wearing silk dresses, Sydney in a brown halterneck slip and Izabel in a white one (hello, friendship goals) and a video of them playing around on the deck of their yacht. 

We also caught a glimpse of Sydney sporting a lifejacket and riding on what appears to be a flyer board in the ocean, on which she debuted some serious balance and skills.
