Now, that doesn't sound all that Kendall-specific, sure, but one lyric, in particular, has fans' interest piqued: "Damn, mami, how hot /  You were looking at me the whole night / W, you’re my cowgirl."

Coupled with the horse imagery throughout the music video for the track, including rocking horses and masked cowboys, all signs point to Jenner. The model's love of horses has been well-documented over the years: she is an avid equestrian and owns a ranch with several European Warmblood mares, and previously revealed to Harper's Bazaar that she wanted to be a professional horseback rider or a vet when she was young. 

We've even seen Jenner take her Latin lover on a sweet horseback riding date in April of this year, with TMZ releasing photos of the cantering couple. Giddy up!

In case you missed it (allow us to rectify that at once!), we first saw Amelia and Paul meet at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, where the pair delivered an interview that literally left fans blushing and kicking their feet. Now, the universe has blessed us with another flirty exchange at Gucci's Spring 2024 Milan Fashion Week show—with Amelia yet again asking the important questions, like: "How often do you think about the Roman Empire?"

And while this might seem like just a random, funny question, it's actually very apt, considering the actor's upcoming movie (*cough* Gladiator 2*cough*), which is literally about to become OUR Roman Empire...

As mentioned, the pair reconnected at Gucci's runway show at Milan Fashion Week, with Amelia Dimoldenberg armed with her trusty microphone and natural flirting skills, to ask Paul about how frequently his thoughts drift to the Romans. For those not clued in, it's a viral trend on TikTok where people ask the men in their lives how often they think about the time period and surprisingly, more often than not, it's a lot.

In response, Paul said: "I would say in the last six months, I've been thinking about the Roman Empire quite a bit but other than that..." He then added that his dad, on the other hand, thinks about it 'daily.' 

Now, we don't know what Mescal Senior's excuse is but Paul at least is preparing for his role in Gladiator 2—alongside OG Maximus himself, Russell Crowe and the likes of Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington.

Now, after that reveal, the conversation got all the more flirty, with Paul turning the question on Amelia, asking her what her 'version' is, to which she relatably said her 'stomach'.

"I feel like maybe it's how my stomach feels."

Paul then laughs as he replies: "How your stomach feels is your version of the Roman Empire?" 

To which Amelia responds: "I'm thinking about my stomach all the time," before at last asking: "So what's yours?" 

Paul then starts to think about his answer but before he can say it, Amelia jokes, saying: "You can't say me!", earning a 'Damn!' from Paul and that's all we get. So, we guess we'll never know what Paul's Roman Empire is, though we like to think he didn't have one after being told it couldn't be Amelia...

Of course, like with the first time Paul and Amelia went toe-to-toe, fans had a lot to say about their chemistry.

In fact, one fan simply commented: "Thank you, Amelia." Yeah, we feel that.

Will there be a 'Love Is Blind' season 6?

Though we don't have a sense of timelines quite yet, it appears that Love Is Blind season 6 is in the works with Netflix and the show's creator, Kinetic Content. At this time, any legal allegations do not appear to affect what's coming down the pipeline, but we'll be sure to keep you updated, should that change. 

According to multiple sources, filming is about to get underway towards the end of 2023, though it's still unclear where the next set of hopeful romantics will be from. Love Is Blind casting calls revealed that scouts were in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota areas, so it's possible we can get a taste of the Midwest since we've been to Texas twice in a very short amount of time. (We've been to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Houston thus far.) Regardless of the location, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen wants to keep things coming. 

"Gimmicks might work for a season, but then you’re done. And these shows have to be nurtured," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Sometimes, even within the reality industry, people take execution for granted. I’ve heard comments from really smart people in this business to the effect of 'Oh, by your second or third season, a show’ll just edit itself.' No, it won’t!"

When can we expect 'Love Is Blind' season 6?

Although it's too soon to say, we suspect that Love Is Blind season 6 will make its way to our screens at some point in spring 2024. But until then, we'll just have to busy ourselves with the most recent declarations of love...and drama, of course.

Why don't we see all of the 'Love Is Blind' engagements?

As it turns out, we only witness a handful of what actually takes place in the pods, according to Love is Blind creator Chris Coelen. 

"You only have so many crews and so much budget and so much time,” he told Netflix Tudum. “It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow."

There's a good chance we really don't know how connections unfolded, and there could have been relationships blossoming that we didn't even get a chance to witness. There might've been wild pairings we'd never see coming! 

However, according to Coelen, having too much content is actually a good thing. When the show first began, there was a fear that there wouldn't be successful pairings, and things would simmer out after the pods. Who would go on those honeymoons and get a few weeks in those swanky new apartments?! 

"In real life, we ended up having more success than you even see on the show, in terms of people falling in love and getting engaged in the pod part of the show," he told The AV Club. "There were more couples that got engaged than we were able to follow, which we did not expect at all. We felt like we would be lucky to have just one couple, and we had an overwhelming abundance of stories."

Does Aaliyah leave Love Is Blind season 5 early, or does she decide to put the drama aside? Believe it or not, things can get very intense in the pods, despite the fact that singles are interacting blindly. How much is too much? Some contestants, like Aaliyah, are forced to make a decision. 

In Love Is Blind season 5, which premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 22, we meet a new cast of hopeful romantics from the Houston area and witness romance blossoming. What we also encounter are plenty of friendship developments, particularly in the women's quarters. Aaliyah and Lydia become inseparable, but did that connection negatively impact Aaliyah's love with Uche? Well...

Does Aaliyah leave 'Love Is Blind' season 5 early?

Aaliyah and Uche hit it off from the get-go because of their shared love of poetry and desire to dig deep in to each other's feelings. Despite a hiccup along the way about cheating and trust issues, the two decide to give forever a shot. But on the day that Uche ventured to the pods to propose, he learned that Aaliyah left the experiment. 

Despite the love she had for Uche, she tells My Imperfect Life that the situation felt off—for one particular reason. 

"To be honest, it was just a gut feeling," she says. "It was just an intuition moment for me. I felt like I was making the best decision for myself and everyone involved at the time."

What caused Aaliyah to make her decision?

Despite a few ups and downs along the way, Aaliyah and Uche proved to be a solid connection...until her best friend, Lydia, dropped a bombshell. It wasn't uncommon for Aaliyah and Lydia to share "I love you's" and Aaliyah even confessed that she believed Lydia would be a wonderful auntie to her kids someday. Plus they comforted one another throughout their dating trials and tribulations. Even if love wasn't in the cards, these two had each other. 

However, things took a very confusing turn when Aaliyah learned that Uche was Lydia's ex—a secret she had been keeping the entire time Aaliyah was dating him and confiding in her friend about him. Were there lingering feelings? Could this odd dynamic work out in the future? Would everyone be able to come together and eventually laugh about it?

While in the women's living quarters, Aaliyah felt as though she was receiving unsolicited info about Uche from Lydia—things she wanted to learn for herself. When she jokingly told Lydia that she could have Uche back if they didn't work out, a verbal confrontation erupted, one we don't see play out on screen. The dynamic and the tension became too much. 

Though things ended on dramatic terms, Aaliyah tells us she has no regrets. 

"I think we both know that we have a mutual respect for one another," she tells My Imperfect Life. "I think we both want each other to be happy and in a good place."

But when it comes to love, fellow contestant Milton (Lydia's other half) puts it well—for all participants: 

"Love, you know, like anything, requires work. It requires commitment," he tells My Imperfect Life. "I often think of it like getting through undergrad: there are some good semesters, and there are some tough semesters. You may not be on the Dean's List every semester, and that's OK. You know, sometimes you have to do something to boost that GPA."

We'll wait to see what kind of a semester it is for Uche and Aaliyah.

Just when we think we've seen it all, Lydia and Uche, Love Is Blind season 5 cast members, come in to throw us for a loop. All seems status quo in the pods: we have connections forming, heartbreaks happening, and singles trying to figure things out—nothing out of the ordinary upon the season premiere on Friday, September 22. Then, the 30-year-old geologist and her blind date, Uche, a 33-year-old attorney, seem to send the series into uncharted waters. 

Upon both parties entering the pods, Uche introduced himself, to which Lydia bluntly said, "F***"

"That's not the reaction I was expecting," he admitted. 

So, what's going on, and why exactly is Lydia less-than-pleased to hear from someone she's never seen, let alone met? Well, we did hear that Love Is Blind season 5 would be the most dramatic yet. Is this what Netflix was referring to? Allow us to give you the scoop.

What's the drama between Lydia and Uche from 'Love Is Blind'?

As it turns out, Lydia and Uche actually dated outside of the pods and started cracking up upon recognizing each other's voices. 

"I don't know if this is a sign," Uche confessed. 

"Right? Is this a sign that we stop should—you know what I'm saying, cut the crap you want to start at zero? A blessing in disguise," Lydia suggested. 

Given that there's a lot of prep work involved, we were not expecting this blind run-in. 

"We like to be in places that have a big enough regional population that we can cast a really wide net and try to get people who haven't run into each other hanging out in the one bar in town, or they've all run into each other on a dating app," creator Chris Coelen told Entertainment Weekly. "We want a big enough diversity of people, so we tend to go for bigger metropolitan areas just because you find more people there."

All we can say is, "Whoops!"

Do Lydia and Uche reconnect on 'Love is Blind'?

Though the exes decided not to reconnect, there was one *tiny* problem. Uche is dating Aaliyah, Lydia's best friend in the pods—a detail both these exes kept from her. Given that Aaliyah had become so close to Lydia, so much so that she insisted she'd be a "great auntie" to her future children, this seems like a very interesting factor to omit. 

As things got more serious between Uche and Aaliyah and they worked through hurdles over her past indiscretion, that's when he decided to drop the bomb, and needless to say, trust was definitely in question.

"I walked into the pods, and I started talking, and the person seemed to recognize my voice and know certain things about me. It is a girl that I have dated in the past" Uche told Aaliyah. "It's Lydia."

Holy moly. Talk about a curve ball. How is Aaliyah supposed to carry on, especially when it seems that Lydia is a little *too* anxious to give her newfound friend details about their shared partner? 

Uche, for his part, planned to keep things separate, or so he said: "I think it's about me and you establishing our connection and not letting anything get in the way of that," he told Aaliyah. 

When an argument erupted between Lydia and Aaliyah—one which we don't see play out on TV—Aaliyah reassessed everything. Was this truly the right fit? Could she date a friend's ex? Would a Love Is Blind triangle *really* be manageable? Ultimately, she decided that she couldn't continue with the experiment.  

"It's difficult, you know. You're dating the same men. You're forming connections with the same friend, you're forming connections with one another through this, so it's really hard to kind of like navigate all of that," Aaliyah tells My Imperfect Life. 

Though Lydia and Milton go on to be one of the three Love Is Blind season 5 couples to get engaged, will we get closure for Aaliyah and Uche? You'll have to keep up with the rest of the series to find out what happens next.

Taylor and JP, Love Is Blind season 5's first engaged couple, gives fans high hopes. While there might have been drama coming from other pods, these two "sugar butts" went into the experiment wholeheartedly, and it worked! Do we sense a new Brett and Tiffany on our hands? (No naps were involved this go-around.) 

From opening up about childhood struggles and laughing together about the less heavy stuff, the two Love Is Blind season 5 cast members—she, a teacher, he a firefighter—managed to tackle a wide range of topics in a short amount of time and even exchanged "I love yous" from behind a wall. Their emotional connection was solid and they had been vulnerable with one another, but what would happen when they were given the green light to interact IRL? 

“I love JP—and I’ve never seen him before. I don’t have any fear of walking out and him being like, ‘Oh, you’re not cute.’ I don’t feel like that with him, you know? I think it’s because he fell in love with who I am here,” Taylor says, pointing to her heart.

What happened between Taylor and JP, 'Love Is Blind' season 5's first engaged couple?

Upon meeting IRL, things are a bit tense between the two. There seems to be some hesitancy and things are a little more awkward now that the wall has been removed. Is it just jitters? Excitement? They seem happy, but a little off-kilter.  

"There was some silence with JP in the pods so I was expecting out there. But, you know, a little bit awkward," Taylor confessed. 

Despite some pauses and some sweaty moments, things seem like they're going to be OK. 

"Just seeing her smile, seeing her look at me—happiest man in the world," JP said.

What happened between Aaliyah and Lydia from 'Love is Blind' season 5?

The situation became a little sticky when Aaliyah learned that Uche, her potential fiancé, had once dated Lydia outside of the pods. Was Uche and Lydia's romance truly squashed? If things were truly over between the two, why did Lydia feel the need to needle Aaliyah about their past and give details her friend didn't want to hear? 

After an argument erupted between the two—one that we unfortunately don't see play out on screens—Aaliyah leaves Love Is Blind early and Lydia moves on with her connection, Milton, creating one of the new Love Is Blind season 5 couples. Needless to say, it was a heartbreak we didn't see coming. 

"Friendships, they're probably one of your closest types of relationships in life. It's important to be very honest and open," Aaliyah tells us. "It's okay to be imperfect, but to maintain certain boundaries and respect other's boundaries, you do have to be considerate and be able to step outside yourself."

It can't be easy to all encounter the same men in the pods (well, from behind a wall, anyway) and not let other connections get inside your head. It's practically impossible.

"It's difficult, you know. You're dating the same men. You're forming connections with the same friend, you're forming connections with one another through this, so it's really hard to kind of like navigate all of that," she adds. 

But the shock of learning that your supposed best friend is keeping a major secret from you can't feel good either. Despite the issues between the two, Aaliyah says everyone has moved on in a positive direction. 

"It's been a while since I've talked to her one-on-one, but I think we both know that we have a mutual respect for one another," she says. "I think we both want each other to be happy and in a good place. I know for sure I'm at peace over where things are and the decisions that I've made. And I don't have any regrets about how I handled things."

Ready to meet a new cast of characters? These singles, for better or worse, managed to find their other half. Here's who's who this season.

1. Taylor & JP

These two "sugar butts" celebrated a milestone: the first engagement of season 5! In the pods, Tiffany, a teacher, and JP, a firefighter, were digging deep and getting to the real nitty gritty stuff, which only seemed to make them closer. Once the wall is removed from the equation, what will happen next?

2. Lydia & Milton

Though Lydia had a past with someone else in the pods—who ended up matching with her BFF Aaliyah—she managed to find her footing. After an upset with Izzy, she felt comfortable getting to know Milton, an engineer, though she initially worried that being six years his senior (he's 24) would be a make-it-or-break-it factor. In the end, it was a "make it."

The spunky, passionate, and emotional geologist managed to find love with a young, mature engineer with a seemingly serious and quiet demeanor—quite the opposite of her. In the end, the outlandish experiment really impacted Milton, despite a few hurdles along the way with his leading lady and her previous love life. 

"The experiment is definitely extremely unconventional, and I think that's what kind of drew me to the experience," Milton tells My Imperfect Life. "My main prerogative was to potentially find a wife, and Lydia had a lot of the characteristics and traits I was looking for. Being that she dated previously to me, it didn't really have any merit."

Where do the two stand? We're going to have to wait to find out.

"Love, you know, like anything, requires work. It requires commitment," he says. "I often think of it like getting through undergrad: there are some good semesters, and there are some tough semesters. You may not be on the Dean's List every semester, and that's OK. You know, sometimes you have to do something to boost that GPA."

3. Stacy & Izzy

Izzy was a fan-favorite amongst the ladies of the pods but did earn a bit of a reputation for being a playboy (though we can't say we witness that firsthand). He broke Lydia's heart at the beginning of the experiment, only to gravitate toward Johnnie, a lawyer. But then, as he notes, "Stacy came in out of nowhere."

The yin to his yang, Stacy is a firecracker, a world traveler, and all about having fun. She originally had reservations about tying the knot, but something about Izzy's comforting demeanor changed her mind. There might be some lifestyle differences between them, but will they be able to make it work? 

What happened between Aaliyah and Uche?

Aaliyah and Uche were set to be the fourth couple of the season...until she decided not to go through with the experiment *right* as Uche was getting ready to propose. Why the cold feet? Well, it gets complicated...

Lydia and Uche actually dated outside of the pods, which seems like a coincidence, but in the end, was too much for Aaliyah—mainly because Lydia had become her best friend throughout the experiment. When the two ladies had an argument, Aaliyah realized things were off. 

"To be honest, it was just a gut feeling," Aaliyah told My Imperfect Life about her decision to leave the show. "It was just an intuition moment for me. I felt like I was making the best decision for myself and everyone involved at the time."

As far as where they stand now, they "have mutual respect for one another." But what happened to Uche, who was left in the pods alone? We'll have to wait and see.

Wait, are we *not* parting ways with Otis & Co. after all? Is Sex Education season 5 in the realm of possibilities? We've been reminded for the umpteenth time that Sex Education season 4, which hit Netflix on Thursday, September 21, would allegedly be the last hoorah, but now we're having doubts about the finale of our favorite feel-good series. 

We're certainly anxious to see what happens this go around: Are Otis and Maeve (Emma Mackey) *finally* getting together? When can we expect that Dan Levy cameo?! How will Otis handle having a little one around to steal away the attention of his mother, Jean (Gillian Anderson)? There's a lot to digest, and we'll gladly follow this cast of characters through whatever they decide to pursue next. 

In a new The Guardian interview with the show's creator, Laurie Nunn, it seemed that she had hesitations about officially parting ways with a world she's been immersed in for nearly a decade. 

"A lot has happened in nine years—and I haven’t really worked on anything else," she tells the publication. "I feel weirdly grief-stricken—but then I’m like: 'They’re not real characters—that’s kind of embarrassing!'"

Could the cure to that grief be continuing the story? *Crosses fingers*

Will there be a 'Sex Education' season 5?

Throughout Nunn's discussion with the outlet, we're given a few glimmers of hope that things aren't quite settled just yet in the Sex Education universe. 

She is "really proud of what the show has achieved and the conversations it started" regarding intimacy and diversity. It's also grappled with a lot darker and more serious topics, such as sexual assault. Considering all that's happening in the world right now, there's still a lot to touch on in these areas. (Speaking of which, here's what Sex Education gets right, according to sexologists.) 

Plus, Otis' particularly tough storyline this season shows his struggle with the changes in his life: the move from Moordale, Maeve's journey across the pond, Jane's second child, etc. Is there room to play with a new future? 

"When you’re in your late teens, there can be this feeling that if you mess up, that’s it – that’s your final chance, and life is over. I felt that very strongly when I was at school,” Nunn tells The Guardian. “I wanted to say that that is not the case, there are always second chances. Because I started from that place, those slightly darker themes started to come out.”

Alas, despite these slivers of detail, we will in fact be biding adieu to Otis and the crew this season, but don't expect to necessarily feel closure—that's the whole point. 

"I’m hopeful that there’s a bittersweetness to [the ending], and that there’s everything people want in there, even though it might not be wrapped up completely perfectly," Nunn adds. 

We're curious to find out how it all ends, but we're most definitely going to savor the journey. Sex Education season 4, the official final season, is now streaming on Netflix.

Married At First Sight UK's love experts for season 8 are Mel Schilling, Charlene Douglas and Paul C Brunson.

We've all had our suspicions and asked: "Is Selling the OC scripted?" 

Given the rumors about agents' lavish commissions, or perhaps lack thereof, and the fact that we had our doubts about that elusive billion-dollar listing in Cabo San Lucas, we've decided to dig into fact versus fiction. 

Some of the drama can seem too intense to make up, and even boss Jason Oppenheim confessed to My Imperfect Life that he has to remove himself from the turbulence from time to time.  

"I've learned to take a step back from trying to solve everything myself," he told My Imperfect Life. "I realize a lot of things solve themselves. A lot of things seem like a big deal upfront, but they end up not being a big deal if you just let them go."

Which of those "big deals" are authentic, and which have been stretched for reality TV fans' benefits? Is Selling the OC real or what? Let's dig in. 

Is 'Selling the OC' scripted or real?

Firstly: The Oppenheim Group is a real brokerage and all of the agents on the show are licensed. If you have a look at the O Group website, you'll realize there are plenty of people on staff we haven't even met!

Yes, Selling the OC focuses on actual situations within the realty business. However, that's not to say that producers don't have a vision for the way in which they want the series to play out. 

As Oppenheim told Metro: "At most, I would say that in some situations, if some things need to be addressed or we’re meeting a client or something, we’ll be asked to wait to make sure if we get everything on camera, but that’s certainly not scripted."

His ex, Chrishell Stause, had a different take. In March 2023, the newly married realtor and Selling Sunset star took to Instagram Stories to suggest that the producers were attempting to manipulate storylines. 

"The way reality TV producers manipulate things to create a narrative,” she wrote alongside snake and trashcan emojis. "Sucks to not be able to be proud of what you’re working on."

In her second slide, she decided to call out the production company. 

“Me collecting receipts for when the time comes @done_and_done_productions or scrap this fake narrative bc don’t forget we have voices too," she added. "Viewers do NOT want manufactured drama."

As far as drama goes, there's definitely plenty of it on the OG series Selling Sunset, as well as its spinoff Selling the OC. As with any reality TV show, we take things with a grain of salt, but the chaos we witness in season 2 of Selling the OC—Tyler and Alex's budding relationship, Polly and Jarvis' screaming match, etc.—has certainly seemed to extend into the outside world when cameras stopped rolling. 

We'll be the first to admit, we're too invested to turn back now. We'll just be here, dreaming of luxury listings and waiting for Selling the OC season 3, which will hopefully be released sooner rather than later. (Alex Hall insists it's the most dramatic one yet because guards are down!)

The 6' 6" basketball player took his career to a new level at Boston College, and he signed with Pınar Karşıyaka of the Turkish Basketball League upon graduation. His love of the game took him around the world, as also played in Greece and Japan, among other locations. 

Now, however, the 38-year-old seems to have taken a page from his wife's book and decided to get into the business of sports. The entrepreneur founded Pro’s Vision Training, which helps players get in tune with their skills and work towards a career in the NBA. 

Additionally, he manages the Team Challenge ALS basketball team, which competes annually in ESPN’s The Basketball Tournament. This is in honor of Sean's late BC roommate, Pete Frates, who died of ALS four years ago. 

"I promised Pete before he died that as long as I could do this, that I would have this team,” Marshall told Boston College Magazine. "I made that promise, so I’m going to stick with it."

Although the two tied the knot in 2015, Brandi revealed that she had not been actively looking for a partner; she was a single mom focused on raising her daughter when Sean entered the equation. Gio Helou's mother, Lisa Helou, is an expert in the luxury real estate market and a member of the Oppenheim Group, but his wife Tiffany is actually the one who got Gio his start at the California-based brokerage, though she isn't prominently featured on the Netflix series...yet. 

While strolling by the new OC offices, Tiffany joked to Gio that he should check out the brokerage and join the show. He took his wife's advice, and it just so happened that Jason Oppenheim was in the office that day. 

"We immediately hit it off since we were sporting the same Rolex... the rest is history," Gio told People.

The 34-year-old might've tipped off her husband about the O Group, but she is actually a publicist for her own company, HelloHelou. Additionally, she has a background in interior design, which is definitely something that connects the two, despite being an opposites-attract pairing. 

"We’re different in the best ways — I’m a thrill seeker, and Tiff is definitely more of a play-it-safe, planner type," Gio told People. "So we’re a perfect balance for each other."

Though the two wed in 2020, they actually first took their friendship to a romantic level back in high school—but it didn't end well. 

"I had a huge crush on Gio, but after one date he dumped me in the school's parking lot," Tiffany told People. "He was the first boy I ever cried over."

However, timing worked out in their favor, and when the two reconnected post-high school, it turned out to be in their favor.

At Polly Brindle's birthday, one couple-in-the-making stole the spotlight with a hot tub make-out sesh, but the event was also where we learned that Tiffany and Gio were expecting. 

After about a year of unsuccessful attempts, Tiffany learned that she was pregnant. She kept the news hidden from Gio for a few days so she could bring him back to a special place for them both, Laguna Beach, to reveal the news. 

"I took a pregnancy test on a whim, fully expecting it to be negative like the countless others had, and was shocked in the best way," Tiffany said.

Unfortunately, Gio's parents were in the midst of a divorce during Tiffany's pregnancy, but here's hoping a little one will bring happiness after such a difficult experience. The realtor-to-be is due in September 2023, so stay tuned for an update!

Carol Helou is yet more proof that a love of real estate can be genetic. 

In Selling the OC season 2, we reunite with the Oppenheim Group staffers, many of whom are second-generation agents. Tyler Stanaland got a start in the business thanks to his father, John Stanaland, and Gio Helou works alongside his mother Lisa, whose career has also led her to the O Group. 

We've gotten acquainted with Gio's mom, who appears briefly in both seasons of Selling the OC, but considering Gio's father is also prominent in the real estate world, what do we know about him? Is he going to end up on the Netflix series any time soon? Here's the scoop.

Who is Carol Helou from 'Selling the OC'?

Carol Helou is a residential builder, and though Lisa Helou has been a guiding figure for her son, Gio revealed to Real Tea that his dad was the one to originally take him under his wing. 

"My dad is a builder," he told the outlet. "I actually started working with him. And it was really great learning the building side of things and understanding how much things cost for clients if they want to remodel or build their dream home from scratch. So it was great to be able to bring that to the sales side when I joined my mom about four years ago."

Little information is available about Carol, but during season 2 of the Netflix reality show, Gio opens up a little bit more about his family. He and his wife, Tiffany, are expecting their first child, a baby boy in September 2023, after months of trying to conceive. However, the timing is bittersweet, as Carol and Lisa, both of whom resided in Balboa Peninsula Point, were going their separate ways, something that was a bit difficult for Gio to digest. 

Regardless, he put his personal feelings aside and listed his family home with the Oppenheim Group. We get to see the gorgeous beachfront property and, in fact, Carol was the one who worked on the construction of the 3,800-square-foot residence, completely scrapping the original layout back in 2013. Gio managed to sell it for close to $16 million.

"I’ve sold a lot of remarkable waterfront properties in my career. This particular listing is not only the best of Newport Beach real estate, but is also uniquely meaningful to me," he told The New York Post. "The home was built by my father and holds some of my favorite family memories, so it’s a privilege to oversee its transition to a lucky new owner."

Though we don't get a glimpse of Carol at any point in season 2, we do learn more about Gio's family. Perhaps we'll go a step further with the Helou clan when Selling the OC season 3 hits the streamer!

Yes, we've already fast-forwarded to Selling Cabo. Netflix released Selling the OC season 2 on Friday, September 8, but since the O Group is expanding its horizons into a neighboring country, we can't help but wonder what's next for the brokerage. 

In terms of drama, our cup runneth over thanks to the Newport Beach office's antics: Polly Brindle and Alex Jarvis' fight, Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland's quasi romance, etc. But with a new office, will there be a new cast, a new country and new turmoil?! Here's everything we know about those spinoff rumors. 

Is 'Selling Cabo' Netflix's next reality TV show?

At the time of publication, there hasn't been any official word that Selling Cabo is in the works at Netflix, despite the ever-growing brokerage and TV franchise. (Selling the OC is a spinoff of Selling Sunset, in case you didn't know.) However, that doesn't mean we're not crossing our fingers for a Cabo-set spinoff. 

In 2022, Jason Oppenheim revealed to My Imperfect Life that he's always looking to expand the real estate firm, so it seems nothing is out of the realm of possibilities. 

"In terms of the Oppenheim Group, I'm always open to another office that might be in the cards but basically slow, steady growth," he said. "I think the main thing is just for every agent to be more productive than the year before. I judge the company based on the success of my agents."

Currently, there are three agents working onsite at the Cabo office, according to the O Group website. Agents from the LA and OC offices are also responsible for selling homes in Cabo—you might recall that Austin Victoria was ready to uproot his family to Mexico to make his mark there—so it's possible we'll hear more about the O Group's growth in Selling the OC season 3. 

Considering there's currently such a small staff in Cabo, it's probably unlikely—at least for now—that there will be a spinoff. If anything, we'd bank on the San Diego office getting time in the spotlight before the new Cabo digs. 

That being said, there's still plenty of excitement surrounding the brokerage's latest venture, particularly when it comes to that $1 billion listing. Oppenheim revealed that California natives are not only interested in buying luxury pads in their home state, but they're eyeing Cabo in particular, which reached the $400-500 million mark in sales in 2020. 

"This year [2022] they’re on pace for over $2 billion in sales," he noted when he brought his staff to the Mexican hotspot. 

Should any news develop, we'll of course keep you posted, but in the meantime, it looks like we'll get lost in the chaos of Orange County. Trust us when we say there's plenty to keep us busy. And, with hope, Selling Sunset season 7 will hit our screens before the year comes to a close.

Truth be told, you might've forgotten all about Austin Victoria. 

That's not to say he's a bad real estate agent, far from it, but the Oppenheim Group staffer tends to steer away from the drama, of which there is plenty in Selling the OC season 2. Whether we're watching Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall dance around their feelings for one another—a contentious topic in the office—or Polly Brindle and Alex Jarvis scream at each other after an all-hands, the intensity is as high as the listing are expensive. 

Then you have Austin: Tyler Stanaland's confidant, a hard worker, and a father of two. But what do we know about the model-turned-realtor? Let's dig a little deeper to learn more about him now that we're in the midst of season 2.

Selling the OC season 2 just premiered on Netflix on Friday, September 8, and the realtors did not disappoint. Naturally, they're working with gorgeous homes—a billion-dollar listing (yes billion with a "B")—but that pales in comparison to the tension between the crew.

We're pretty wrapped up with Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland's will-they-won't-they situation, as well as the unexpected Jarvis/Rose clash, but the sophomore season saves the best for last in the second-to-last episode thanks to Brindle and Jarvis' office screaming sesh. Trust us when we tell you this is unlike any other team meeting you've ever witnessed.

What happened between Polly Brindle and Alex Jarvis on 'Selling the OC'?

Tensions came to a boil during an OC all-hands. After the team went around to report the statuses of their listings, Brindle took the opportunity to invite her entire office to her lavish sleepover-themed birthday party, despite the animosity that had been brewing. Jarvis said in front of the whole group that she would not be attending after Brindle had called her a derogatory name. 

Things began heating up from there when Brindle pulled her colleague aside after the office-wide sit-down. 

"You're telling me that I'm two different people. You're coming at me in an insulting way," Jarvis said. 

"You were f***ing dry-humping someone in Cabo. That's why you were so pissed off I have a video of it," Brindle retorted. 

Though we cannot comment on footage we haven't seen, drama about the alleged video escalated into consent issues. And since there wasn't enough chaos to go around,  rumors about a "compromising" video with Brindle and Stanaland followed. Because the team chit-chat already hadn't gone poorly enough.

Did Polly and Alex make up on 'Selling the OC'?

Though quite a bit of time has passed since filming took place, we're going to go out on a limb and say that the two have not made amends. Why? They're not following one another on Instagram, though they're following plenty of their other reality-show peers. 

Additionally, when Jarvis tied the knot—after getting engaged for a third time, as the cast likes to point out—Brindle was noticeably absent from the comments section of the announcement. You'd think a congratulatory Insta comment would be the cordial thing to do, considering they're in such close quarters.

We meet a new face (hi, Ali Harper), witness a relationship escalate (that's you Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall), and, but of course, catch connections falling apart.

There's plenty happening, and a new Oppenheim Group office is in the works in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Heck, there's even talk about the brokerage's record-breaking first billion-dollar listing. Surely we can't be parting ways with the group given all that's going on, right? Right, Netflix?!

Will there be a 'Selling the OC' season 3?

Rest assured, reality TV fanatics: Selling the OC season 3 has been confirmed by the streaming giant, and believe it or not, it's already in the works. According to staffer Alex Hall, the third time is definitely the charm. 

"I think the most impressive is going to be season 3, to be honest, because like our friend group after season one, we were like, ‘Holy sh*t.’ So we were a little guarded coming into season 2 just because of all that happened after season 1," she revealed to ET Canada. "And then by the end of season 2, we were like, ‘F**k this.’ Like you can’t think about everything before you say it."

If they were "guarded" before, we can't even begin to imagine what's going to happen once the third season comes around. Dare we say, the Newport Beach office drama *just* might be more addicting than Selling Sunset (a.k.a. the franchise OG)?! You didn't hear it from us. 

In the ET Canada chat, Stanaland actually agrees with Hall about the cast's approach. 

"Season 1, we definitely had our guard down, but in 2 we came in hot, but we just let it all show. And I think that you see that, and season 3 even more so I think," he noted. "I think with time we’ve just grown more comfortable with the cameras around. And that’s why you see the drama and relationships and things you do see."

OH. GOODNESS. GRACIOUS.

What will 'Selling the OC' season 3 be about?

We were left with quite a few cliffhangers come the end of the eight episodes in season 2. Did Alex Jarvis get married, and did she make amends with her real estate partner in crime, Alex Rose...and nemesis, Polly Brindle? Will Alex and Tyler become #couplegoals or ultimately friend zone the flirtation? And are we going to get a peek at that billion-dollar listing? The Cabo office is getting ready to rock and roll, after all...

Though we don't have a synopsis of what's to come just yet, we're fairly certain there will be plenty of material to keep us intrigued. And if Miss Ali Harper from Nashville, Tennessee, does in fact get her license and work her way into the Oppenheim brothers' good graces, will she pick sides in the office? Team Jarvis or Team Brindle? That could be a make-it-or-break-it decision. 

When will 'Selling the OC' season 3 hit Netflix?

A release date has yet to be revealed, but given that there was a year between season 1 and season 2, we suspect the third installment will be around this time next year. But we're definitely hoping it comes around a lot sooner because patience isn't our strong suit. (No offense to the forthcoming Selling Sunset season 7.) 

As Jason Oppenheim told My Imperfect Life, "The [Newport Beach] office becoming so successful as quickly as it has is the biggest reward. They've doubled anything I thought they could've achieved in their first couple of years."

We knew Selling the OC season 2 would be grand, but the Oppenheim Group's first billion-dollar listing catapults the brokerage into unimaginable territory. 

During a group sit-down in the Newport Beach office, head honcho Jason Oppenheim updated his staff about the company's new office in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as well as the big bucks that come along with it. 

"We've got a big announcement: in Cabo San Lucas, we have our first billion-dollar listing," Jason revealed. 

"Billion? Like with a 'B'?" Lauren Shortt asked. 

Yes ma'am, billion. Viva la Mexico, right?! But aside from the initial mention of the exceptionally high-priced listing, we don't hear much about it after the first episode. And when the crew leaves for a company trip to the tropical hotspot, we don't visit said listing (though that gorgeous $45,000,000 villa certainly sufficed). So, what do we know about this abode with Big Listing Energy? Let's dig in.

What's going on with Oppenheim Group's billion-dollar listing?

Is it a single-family property? Is it intended for more than one buyer? Is it a luxury community within Cabo? Is it one of the most expensive homes in the world? Little is known about the listing. However, it's likely to be the brokerage's partnership with various groups on the Enclaves, something the company touches on via Instagram.

"This expansion into Cabo San Lucas is the culmination of an exciting partnership with Diego Sanchez Navarro and Grupo Questro, as we bring to market the Ritz Carlton Residences, the Enclaves, the 1 Homes Residences by 1 Hotels, the Hacienda Beach Club Residences, and billions of dollars in new projects on the best undeveloped land that Cabo has to offer," the post read.

More about the O Group: Cabo

Currently, the highest active listing on the Oppenheim Cabo website is $17,950,000—no small amount, but still lightyears away from $1 billion. The company's Instagram page, which reveals listed and sold properties, does not make mention of the billion-dollar buy, but does include a link to the Enclaves website in its bio.

To put things in context, Come to Cabo Villa Rentals revealed that homes in the luxury real estate market in Cabo average at around $3 million, but can reach as high as $16 or $17 million. And in the O Group's case, one home hit the $45,000,000 mark, which we see in season 2. Then we have a late 2022 article from Forbes that stated a $90 million beachfront abode in Los Cabos, the county that incorporates Cabo San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, was the most expensive property in the area's history. Given this insight, it's likely this project is referring to the Enclaves.

During the OC Group's Mexican getaway—which included a hefty dose of drama—Jason took his staffers to the office to show them around and talk numbers. He said that Cabo hit $400-500 million in sales in 2020. 

"This year [2022] they’re on pace for over $2 billion in sales," he noted. 

Additionally, Jason revealed last year that his brokerage sold an enormous $2 billion in real estate over nine years, and it's interesting to think one single place has the power to compete with so many years of hard word. 

Does the billion-dollar listing on 'Selling the OC' actually exit?

My Imperfect Life has reached out to the Oppenheim Group regarding the property, but did not hear back at the time of publication. As soon as we learn more, or if the Enclaves are confirmed, we'll be sure to keep you updated.

Now that Selling the OC season 2 has made its way onto Netflix as of Friday, September 8, we're getting lost in the luxury and the drama. There's plenty happening in the romance department—not to point fingers, but let's point 'em at Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland—and we can't help but wonder how things unfolded for our betrothed Southern native. 

So is Ms. Jarvis now a Mrs., or is she simply a "ring collector" as Polly Brindle rudely suggested? Here's everything we know. 

Alex Jarvis' marriages: did she tie the knot for a third time on camera?

While her wedding is a hot topic of conversation—and we get a sneak peek at her stunning $50,000 Michael Costello dress during a fitting—Alex Jarvis didn't get married on-camera...at least not in Selling the OC season 2. Her engagement was mentioned quite frequently, as it was her third overall. This was a little tidbit that some of Jarvis' castmates didn't mind using against her, but she insisted the third time was the charm and admitted she had to "kiss a lot of frogs" to get to her current place. Little is known about her previous relationships.

But considering her two-year-engagement seemed long, everyone was curious if, in fact, the third time was actually the charm. Rest assured, naysayers (*cough* Polly Brindle *cough*), Jarvis did marry Sergio Ducoulombier in one of the most romantic locations in the world: Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, Italy. Talk about amore! After their "I do's" they hopped on a boat to Bellagio to enjoy some Italian cuisine. (Honestly, this sounds like the perfect way to cap off a wedding.)

"Four years ago he walked into a restaurant and stole my attention and my heart," Jarvis wrote on Instagram. "Two months ago I chose him and he chose me. Nothing worth pursuing is easy or perfect, and love is certainly no exception. But loving you @sergioducoulombier is the easiest decision I ever made."

She revealed in confessionals that she and Sergio, the CEO of Slip Cash Inc., decided to go against the norm and just elope...and they did in April 2023. 

"We wanted to have a very intimate and romantic wedding day without all the traditional expectations around us," Jarvis told People. "So we decided, let's the two of us go to Italy. We've been before and it's actually where I told him I loved him. He had already told me he loved me, but I held back for a little while."

What were those swinger rumors about?

In season 2 of the show, there was a lot of talk about Jarvis' other half, Sergio, and Jarvis' friend group in Cali—particularly during an alleged Halloween party. 

"It was the strangest party I’ve ever been to. A bunch of, like, rich, fat men with, like, beautiful women everywhere,” Austin Victoria told co-workers in season 2. "She [Jarvis] got really weird when she saw me like she wasn’t supposed to be there. … I’m not saying that [it was a swinger’s party]. I’ve been to some weird parties in L.A. and that by far beats them all."

Jarvis shut down those rumors in a joint interview with US Weekly. 

"I don’t know if we have enough time to unpack that. Actually, Austin, I would like to know what drugs you were on that night for you to think that that’s what happened," she said.

Part of the Selling Sunset season 6 drama focused on whether or not Chrishell Stause was exiting the brokerage after her relationship split with Jason Oppenheim. Now, we're just bringing the speculation to a different Cali office. 

Selling the OC season 2 has landed on Netflix as of Friday, September 8, and we're getting up to speed with the "messy" office drama. It appears some turbulence has made Jarvis reconsider where she wants to take her career next. Here's what we know.

Is Alex Jarvis leaving the Oppenheim Group?

Alex Jarvis has considered leaving the Oppenheim Group, according to a debaucherous final few episodes in Selling the OC's second season. Though she is taking kindly to the potential O Group newbie and fellow Southern Belle, Ali Harper, Alex is on shaky ground with her current cast members and co-workers. 

For one, she and Alex Rose are no longer the power duo we've come to love from season 1. They're clashing over professional differences—or perhaps we should say unprofessional differences—and they're taking a breather from doorknocking. Plus, they're going at listings alone. 

Then there's the drama with Polly Brindle. After the Office Londoner extended an invite to everyone on the team for her birthday party, a not-so-little tiff erupted between Brindle and Jarvis, the latter of whom was upset over a derogatory name Brindle used to describe her. Then we have the alleged video that was taken without Jarvis' consent, which then erupted into an argument about another alleged video, this time with Brindle and Tyler Stanaland. 

So, given that there's some hostility, Jarvis confided in Harper while at her desk that she'd be willing to have a look at something new. 

"It makes me question if I should stay at this brokerage," Jarvis told Harper, who insisted she stay at the real estate firm. "I'm not saying I'm gonna leave, I'm just, you know, keeping my options open."

At the end of the day, it appears the drama didn't deter Jarvis too much, as she's still listed as a realtor associate on the Oppenheim Group website. But the question remains: will the ladies squash their beef? Looks like we're just going to have to wait for a potential Selling the OC season 3 to find out!

What happened between Tyler Stanaland and Brittany Snow that caused their relationship to crumble? 

Ahead of Selling the OC, Tyler Stanaland received plenty of attention, not necessarily for his participation on the show, but for his famous counterpart, a.k.a. Pitch Perfect royalty Brittany Snow. Once the Netflix series dropped, viewers turned their attention toward the surfer and relator for other reasons: his flirty behavior.

Although the announcements about their September 2022 separation were vague and neither party has publicly commented on what caused them to part ways, fans have made plenty of speculations since the news broke last year.

"After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate," Snow's statement read. "This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives." 

What happened between Tyler Stanaland and Brittany Snow?

Viewers (and O Group staffers) were up in arms about Tyler's almost-kiss with Kayla Cardona on the debut season of the show. According to Stanaland, the incident did not come between him and Snow at the time, and Cardona apologized for the almost-kiss. 

For her part, Cardona has claimed that she is not the only one who deserves the scrutiny.

"Everyone else wants to put all the blame on me. No one else is innocent, I'll make that real clear," she told Netflix Tudum. "I think they reacted from a place of guilt and they wanted to put all that heat on me because they know they're guilty themselves. I haven't done half of the s*** that they've done. And I'm also talking about off-camera."

While no one knows specifically what she was alluding to, some believe Tyler and Alex's Hall flirty friendship--which paps and onlookers caught glimpses of when the cameras stopped rolling in fall 2022--is the culprit. 

At the time, Hall told People, "His close friends know a little bit more about his personal life than the audience knows. So anybody in their right mind, I mean, who do you call when you're going through issues? You call your friends. I think people really want to hold onto that idea that there's something there between Tyler and [I]. I mean, at this point, we're just friends, so there's nothing more to it."

Whatever the reason, and regardless of the agent, it appears that the split was a heartbreaking ordeal. In a May 2023 interview with Bustle, Snow opened up about the struggles she went through, without naming her ex-husband directly, and said that her Pitch Perfect family helped nurse her back to health after the turbulent time. 

"In the past year I went through probably the hardest mental health challenge I've ever faced," she told the outlet. "In one day, in a matter of hours, my life turned completely upside down. I was blindsided and everything I thought I knew, held sacred and truly trusted in my life was completely different."

This is certainly not the ending we expected from the pair, who first crossed paths via Instagram DMs in 2018.

"I knew of Britt for obvious reasons, but she was my unattainable crush forever," Stanaland told The Knot in March 2020. "As a man, I used to watch Pitch Perfect with friends and [thought] 'Brittany Snow. One day.' But never thinking it would ever happen. I sent a direct message with the most embarrassing pickup line. A dad joke."

From there the two were inseparable and embarked on puppy parenthood before tying the knot in 2020. Before Stanaland entered her life, Snow kept quiet about personal matters.

"I'm very public about [my relationship] for the first time in my life and that's very strange to me," she told US Weekly. "I keep things very to myself because I feel like the magic gets lost if you promote it too much, but I don't know! When you're in love..."

The 30-year-old hails from Nashville, Tennessee, and made the rounds in the pageant world before trying her hand at real estate. She won Miss Tennessee USA in 2018 and placed within the top ten at Miss USA, but the up-and-coming real-estate agent thinks juggling four jobs is what really prepared her for what's ahead in SoCal. 

“I think it’s safe to say I’m not scared of a little competition and chaos," she revealed to People. 

We're fairly confident her peers will hold her to that statement. (Just a hunch!)

She's a foodie

Ali apparently spends a lot of time in the kitchen, and we're salivating over her culinary endeavors over on Instagram, where she's featured her prosciutto burrata pizza, zesty street corn dip, and even Ina Garten's wildly beloved "Marry Me Chicken." Pass a plate, please, Ali!

She has a boyfriend

Ali is romantically tied to Lucas England, who has made a name for himself in the logistics and supply chain industry, according to LinkedIn. You can catch him making appearances on her Instagram. 

She has strong roots

Faith, family, and Nashville are all pillars of the agent-in-training's Instagram page. Now that she's making a go of it in a new state, she admitted it's not the easiest thing. In fact, she considers it, "the biggest and scariest decision of my life yet." 

She further revealed to People, "It’s been tough not being 10 minutes away from [my parents] for the first time ever."

According to her chat with People, Harper is getting adjusted to a new life in California and settling into her career. (She's an aspiring agent, according to the piece, and her O Group bio is not yet live on the company's website.) She has chosen, at least for now, to stay out of the O Group's messes (of which there are plenty). 

"I’ve never been one to initially stir the pot… but will I toss in a bit of seasoning, turn up the heat, and hand off the spoon? Absolutely," she said.

There seems to be plenty lined up for the star-in-the-making post-Priscilla, and we are definitely keeping an eye on her career going forward. Considering the biopic earned a seven-minute standing ovation during the Venice Film Festival and a thumbs up from the legend herself, we'll go ahead and consider this a win for Spaeny, especially considering it's fairly heavy material for a breakout role. 

"It’s very difficult to sit and watch a film about you and about your life and about your love. Sofia did an amazing job, she did her homework," Priscilla said during the Venice Film Festival. "And I really put everything out for her that I could."

Priscilla hits theaters on Friday, October 27. 

If you're a fan of Glee and Christopher Guest comedies, you're no doubt wondering, "Is Theater Camp streaming yet?!"

The mockumentary-style comedy, which follows the eccentric staff members of an upstate New York theatre camp, was co-directed and co-written by The Bear actress Molly Gordon, who also stars alongside a packed cast that includes Dear Evan Hansen lead Ben Platt, Bottoms' Ayo Edebiri, Booksmart's Noah Galvin and comedy legend Amy Sedaris, among others. 

And according to Gordon, making Theater Camp was a true labor of theatrical love: "We had been trying to make it as a feature for six years, so by the time it came together, we honestly couldn’t believe it," she told Harper's Bazaar. "We were given 19 days to shoot the whole movie. It was such a mad dash to get everything done. The last 20 minutes are a full musical, there are children, and I’m in it; it’s improv."

"It was a beautiful experience, making it with my closest friends. We all lived in a house near this camp we shot at. It was extremely meta," she added. "Everything went wrong and we had to use that 'the show must go on' mentality—every mistake is an opportunity. It felt like this beautiful, creative oasis that was also the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life."

Theater Camp will be available to stream on Hulu beginning Thursday, September 14. The funny flick will hit VOD on the same date and will be available for digital purchase via Apple TV, Prime Video and more.

Theater Camp had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival this past January, where it was acquired by Searchlight Pictures. It then was released in select theaters on Friday, July 14.

It's one of the raunchiest teen comedies in recent memory, but is Bottoms streaming anywhere just yet? 

Starring a who's who of young Hollywood—including The Idol actress Rachel Sennott (who also co-wrote the script for the funny flick), The Bear star Ayo Edebiri, Nicholas Galitzine from Red, White & Royal Blue, model-actress Kaia Gerber, among others—Bottoms follows two high-school seniors who set up a fight club to impress popular cheerleaders.

“The initial references were just the shitty guy sex comedies,” director/co-writer Emma Seligman told Indiewire. “We were like, why do they get to be horny—” “And superhero movies, too,” Sennott added. “Like ‘Scott Pilgrim,’ because it’s about how he has superpowers and he’s literally like, ‘Merp.’ It’s like, he gets superpowers? OK, fucking let me punch someone. I love that movie, by the way! But do you know what I mean? It’s like, let us do that.”

It's a hijinks-filled premise that has proven to be a box office hit (debuting in just ten theaters in the U.S., the comedy pulled in $516,254 during its opening weekend), but is Bottoms available to stream just yet? Here's everything we know. 

Is 'Bottoms' streaming?

As of now, those interested in watching Bottoms will have to hightail it over to a movie theater, as the comedy is not yet available on streaming.

After premiering at South by Southwest in March, Bottoms kicked off its limited theatrical release in the United States on Friday, August 25, before expanding to additional screens on Friday, September 1. 

However, once Bottoms does hit a streaming platform, it will likely be Prime Video. The movie was distributed by MGM, which was acquired by Amazon in 2022 in a massive $8.5 billion deal to boost its video catalog, as reported by Forbes. Previous MGM titles have hit the Prime Video platform about 45 days after their theatrical release, which means viewers should expect to be able to stream Bottoms sometime in early October. 

That means you will need a Prime Video subscription if you want to stream Bottoms at home. Currently, access to Prime Video is included with a general Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139.00 per year. Non-Prime members can still get Prime Video as a standalone streaming service for $8.99 monthly.

Bottoms is rated-R due to its crude sexual content, pervasive language and some violence. 

Folks are swooning over this wistful love-triangle drama but is Past Lives streaming just yet?

A semiautobiographical tale from playwright-turned-filmmaker Celine Song, Past Lives stars Greta Lee (Russian Doll, The Morning Show) as Nora, a Seoul-born woman now living in New York who is wavering between the solidity of her marriage to her husband Arthur (First Cow's John Magaro) and the nostalgia of her Korean childhood love Hae Sung (Leto's Teo Yoo). 

It's not your traditional love triangle—at one point, Arthur winkingly quips, "I know. I know. In the story, I would be the evil white American husband standing in the way of destiny"—but it's that lack of convention that drew Lee to the project. 

 "It felt like such a radical departure from the more conventional romantic movies that I'd seen," she told Entertainment Weekly. "And to have that cultural specificity of [Nora] being Korean and the realities of living in America as an Asian woman — having that all incorporated into this piece but never in service of having to explain a racialized state, it was just in order to tell a very universal story about love — I read it and was like, how did [Song] manage to do this? I immediately fell in love with it."

Is 'Past Lives' streaming? 

As of press time, A24 hasn't released any information on when Past Lives will be available to stream. When it does though, it will likely hit Paramount+ with Showtime, as that's the streaming service where other recent A24 titles have wound up, including The Whale, Pearl, The Inspection and Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Past Lives is, however, available on VOD since August 2023. You can purchase the film digitally on platforms including Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, Vudu and iTunes for $19.99. 

The Celine Song swooner is also still in select theaters if you want to see it the old-fashioned way. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January and was released in the United States on Friday, June 2.

Unlike After the Altars of years past, Love is Blind: After the Altar season 4 brings everyone together—including exes Zack and Irina.  

For those who didn't catch the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion in all of its messiness and tech snafus, the get-together was filled with plenty of highs, but not necessarily for Irina. She's gone down in pod squad history for poor treatment of her fiancée and cohorts, particularly Amber. Her behavior, and that of pod BFF Micah, was widely criticized online throughout the season, and it seemed like there would be no hope for redemption. 

Then came the flag football tourney in After the Altar. Couples, exes and singles from the fourth season of the Netflix series joined together for some friendly competition and community.

"I mean, the idea is for everybody to try to squash the beef, you know," Zack said in the teaser trailer. But does he follow his own words of wisdom when his ex is concerned?

Did Zack and Irina make up in 'After the Altar'?

Although there were plenty of apology tours happening throughout After the Altar, Zack and Irina seemingly did not even interact with one another. She had offered an "I'm sorry" to Amber, whom she laughed at during her breakup with Paul, but the exes didn't reunite, as far as we saw. Kudos to them for being able to co-exist in the same space, but we were a little surprised to see the lack of interaction, especially considering her behavior led to Love Is Blind history: the first time someone would propose to their second choice.

Ahead of the April 2023 reunion, Zack revealed to TODAY that he hadn't been in contact with his former fiancée. 

"I have not talked to Irina since Mexico. She sent me text messages, but I honestly never responded to any of them," he confessed. 

But that didn't necessarily mean he was still harboring feelings of resentment. According to another interview with The Tab that was published around the same time, Zack had made peace with the disastrous connection.

 "I've forgiven her for what happened. She knows what she did. And she's definitely dealing with an amplified backlash from it," he said. 

Though Irina issued an apology for her behavior on Instagram, it was not well received by the public. However, she has seemingly made things right with the rest of the pod squad, as she's seen getting together with Micah and her childhood best friend, Shelby, and enjoying the flag football game. 

Perhaps there is room for forgiveness, even if the former couple chooses not to interact with one another. At least they were able to come together in the name of a good game! We'll admit, the drama was fairly tame during After the Altar compared to the rest of the season. If anything, Irina and Micah were not the agents of chaos during the catch-up—we can all thank Monica's resurgence for that!

Dr. Chay Barnes has entered the chat! 

On Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 4, we catch up with our favorite couples from the pods, and in turn meet new connections who have entered their lives. Jackie Bonds and Marshall Glaze reunite during this reunion of sorts and make peace with one another, plus we catch a glimpse into his new romance with Chay. Though a relationship wasn't something he had been looking for right after his split with Jackie, his connection with Chay just felt right. 

"When she came along, I immediately felt like I just needed to be with her," Marshall said in a confessional. "Chay makes me feel loved every time she looks in my eyes."

The two just celebrated one year together in July 2023, and their bond only appears to be getting stronger. But who is Dr. Chay Barnes? Let's find out.

Meet Chay Barnes, Marshall Glaze's new girlfriend

In After the Altar, we first meet Chay on a double date with Marshall and season 4's favorite couple, Brett and Tiffany. While out playing duffleboard—yes, duffleboard—Chay is introduced to the pod squad as Marshall talks up her accomplishments. 

"She passed her boards, flying colors, and is now Dr. Chay Barnes," Marshall proudly tells his buddies. 

Having graduated from the University of Washington, Chay—or should we say Dr. Chay Barnes—has added a few titles to her résumé: DNP, ARNP, CNM. The nurse practitioner and nurse midwife somehow also found time to create The Wellness Series.

According to Chay, it's considered, "a safe space designed to encourage professionals with motivation + essential habits to show up as their best selves daily. Our goal is to empower you to cultivate a life of optimal Health & Wellness, and help you discover how to live in total alignment with yourself."

Things apparently got serious between Chay and Marshall around the summer of 2022. Fast forward a year and the two are celebrating their milestone anniversary in a sweet decked-out getaway. Though the pair have only just begun their journey, it seems that this is a promising start for them both. 

"I do know that's who I want, and that's who I want to spend my life with," Marshall later confessed to Brett while out on their double date. "I can't think of any other person."

(As an aside, we're particularly in love with the sweet bromance between Marshall and Brett!) 

Though we're trudging along and moving forward with Love Is Blind season 5, which is due to hit screens on Friday, September 22, we'll be sure to keep you updated on this season 4 fan-favorite and his new romance.

Jackie and Marshall reunited after the tumultuous Love Is Blind season 4 reunion (you know, the one with the massive tech glitches) to put their differences aside. Were the two exes able to move forward amicably? 

In Love Is Blind After the Altar, which hit Netflix on Friday, September 1, we catch all members of the pod squad coming together for a flag football match—and not just the Love is Blind season 4 couples. Naturally, bringing everyone together poses a few challenges, especially for those pairings that did not end on good terms.  

For those who don't recall, Jackie and Marshall got engaged during season 4 of the Netflix series, but ultimately, Jackie had decided she was not a good fit for Marshall, and she seemingly pursued her connection with Josh from the pods while still engaged, which ended up not being the case. She received major flack for refusing to return Marshall's engagement ring and sending a slew of mean-spirited text messages about Marshall to her friends. 

Needless to say, things got a little messy. Though Marshall said during the reunion that he wanted to stop fans from pitting them against one another, will he take his own advice while filming After the Altar?

What happened between Jackie and Marshall in 'After the Altar' season 4?

Despite the terms on which they parted, Jackie and Marshall seemed to squash the beef and put the past behind them. Marshall asked for a quick chat during the group's restaurant outing post-football game, which ended with the two embracing for a hug. 

"The breakup was obviously so messy, and I apologize for that," Jackie said. "I should've been more open. I should've been more nurturing. I just haven't got there yet."

Marshall, for his part, apologized for not wanting to let the relationship go when perhaps he knew he should've. 

"You deserve everything and more. And I do, too. We both do," Jackie added. 

Jackie and Josh are still going strong, and we catch them moving into their new place together. Meanwhile, Marshall found love with a new girl, Chay, who had just become a doctor. (We meet her briefly in After the Altar season 4 during a date night with everyone's favorites, Brett and Tiffany.) All in all, the former couple seemed to have made the right decision and worked through what they both needed to.

Jackie and Marshall's quick chat proves that you can reconnect with an ex in an amicable manner, even if you do not intend to stay close friends. We're glad to see that the issues have been resolved. But as far as Jackie, Josh and Monica? Well, that is another story entirely...

Though things did not pan out well between the two, she did apparently have a strong connection with Jackie and other girls from the experiment. She attempts to rekindle things with her pod squad in After the Altar, but will she be successful?

Who is Monica from 'Love Is Blind' season 4?

In Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 4, we not only catch up with the Love is Blind season 4 couples, but everybody who entered the experiment. (Heck, even Micah's friend Shelby made a comeback, and we're not entirely sure why.) This means that pod squad members who didn't find love throughout the experiment, like Amber, joined our crew for a friendly flag football match. But people were on the defensive during the post-game get-together at a local restaurant. 

Monica, a teacher with a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, was one of the contestants on the show whose happily-ever-after, albeit one that was cut short, was not shown. It's not until After The Altar that we get a glimpse into her brief engagement to Josh—one in which she declares, "I'm engaged to a lunatic"—and attempts to rebuild the super-close connection she had with Jackie, one we never really knew about until this point. 

So, what happens when all members of the pod squad are under the same roof? Hint: nothing good.

All about Monica's sit-down with Jackie and Josh

Though Jackie initially decides to bolt upon learning Monica would be joining the festivities, she stays at the event and even talks with her former friend one-on-one.

"I'm not exactly sure where we went wrong or what I did," Monica revealed to Jackie, who insisted Josh was mad about the "messiness" she revealed to blogs about her brief engagement, though she had yet to name her former fiancé. Just when we thought the conversation was getting to a positive place, Jackie brings in Josh at Monica's request, and things take a turn, particularly when he accuses his ex-fiancée of "clout chasing."

"I don't know how you deal with this man every single day of your life," Monica tells Jackie. "He's a 6-year-old. I really don't know how you deal with this."

Needless to say, this did not go over well, and it looks like not only love, but friendship was lost in the pods. At one point, Jackie does leave the restaurant to get some air. 

In a confessional, she said: "Sometimes you have to throw in the towel and say, 'This ain't good for me.' 'This isn't helping me grow.' 'This isn't good for anything I want to accomplish in my life. And that's it.'"

Well, looks like Monica's return was short and not-so-sweet. As for the rest of the pod squad? It looks like things are going well, but you'll have to tune in to see for yourself.

Spooky season is coming and horror movies are already bringing the thrills, but is Talk to Me streaming just yet? 

One of the best scary movies of the year (it currently boasts a cool 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes off 200-plus reviews), the Australian supernatural flick from director-brothers Danny and Michael Philippou follows a group of teenagers who "discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand," reads the official logline from A24. "They become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces."

It's been a breakout horror hit in theaters, so much so that there's already a prequel filmed and a sequel in development, but is Talk to Me available to watch from the comfort of your own home? Here's everything to know. 

Is 'Talk to Me' streaming?

No, Talk to Me is not currently available for streaming and, as of now, the only way to see the A24 title is to seek it out at the theaters. 

Following its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, Talk to Me premiered in theaters across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on July 28, 2023.

There's still no word on exactly when or where Talk to Me will hit streaming; however, recent horror titles from the arthouse production company, including X and Pearl, have popped up on Paramount+ following their theatrical releases, so we'll be keeping an eye out if the Aussie thriller joins its freaky brethren there.

'Talk to Me' runtime: how long is the movie?

Talk to Me clocks in at a quick-paced, spine-chilling one hour and 35 minutes. 

Why is 'Talk to Me' rated R?

Like most horror movies, Talk to Me isn't suitable for the youngins: its R-rating is for strong/bloody violent content, some sexual material and language throughout.

What's going on with the 'Talk to Me' sequel?

Yes, Talk to Me 2 is officially a go, reports Variety, with a script written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman, and both Danny and Michael Philippou back to direct. 

In fact, scenes for the sequel were written concurrently with the script for the first film. "Because I was writing it for so long and we were redrafting and redrafting, you just can’t help but start writing other scenes, scenes of different people experiencing the hands, continuing on these characters’ story," Danny Philippou told Deadline in July. "So, there’s scenes for a sequel, yeah. And if A24 want it, I’ll bloody give it to them."

Added Michael: "When you’re writing and you know, say, the ending — and it’s not just specific to Talk to Me; I think it’s everything that we write — you think of the scenes after. What are the characters going to do after? How they’re going to interact after the climax. So you always just naturally write, even though you’re like, 'Oh, this is probably a bit rough.' [Laughs] But it’s just fun because you love the characters and can just keep going."

As for whether the sequel will follow the same teens as the original, that remains to be seen. Michael Philippou told The Hollywood Reporter: “I guess a question would be, would you continue the story around Mia and those characters, or do you go to another part of the world? That’s a debate.” Stay tuned!

It's all been leading up to this very moment: The Ultimatum season 2 reunion. 

After a solid week—a lifetime in reality TV terms—we are finally about to uncover where each of The Ultimatum season 2 couples stand now. As of Wednesday, August 30, the engagement episode and reunion episode are available to stream on Netflix, and our hearts are beating just thinking about the possible outcomes. (Yes, we're pretty invested.) 

Given that there were quite a few ups and downs throughout the season, and one pair split before the experiment could even begin—looking at you, Lisa and Brian— we were kind of uncertain if there would be a few happily-ever-afters, if any.

Since James admitted to cheating on Ryann, could they overcome the setback? Will Roxanne and Antonio get on the same page personally and professionally? Will Kat's quiet demeanor be manageable for Alex, especially after pairing up with the confident Roxanne? Will Trey and Riah get on the same page? 

What we learned on 'The Ultimatum' season 2 reunion:

During this couch-side catch-up with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the cast reconvenes to reflect on their experience, and of course, fill viewers in on what's happening now that the cameras have stopped rolling. Did issuing an ultimatum really work to their benefit? 

Are Kat and Alex still together after she said "yes" to his proposal?  How about Roxanne and Antonio? The rest of the gang? Were all those problems suddenly solved after this unorthodox three-week experiment? Apparently so. 

Perhaps in a reality TV first, all of the couples said "yes" to an engagement and are still together today, even though some were a bit wishy-washy about their future plans. Though Lisa and Brian didn't go through the show in its entirety, they're still together and have a three-month-old named Mason. 

Have we ever witnessed such a feat? Only one couple from The Ultimatum: Queer Love is still going strong. April and Jake and Rae and Jake broke the good-luck streak for the debut season of The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On. So, despite the doubts, insecurities, infidelities, and challenges thrown their way, the season 2 couples ended up falling back in love with the person they came with. As far as whether or not the contestants would recommend issuing an ultimatum? Or even apply to go on the show? It's a resounding yes. 

"It may not be the answer that you want, but whatever the answer is, it's the truth," contestant Antonio Mattei tells My Imperfect Life. 

Let's hope that we have just as much success for The Ultimatum season 3—and that the season 2 couples are still together when the third installment comes out.

So, what's next? It's time to look ahead, and fortunately for fans of reality dating shows, there's plenty of romantic chaos headed to our screens. (Good for us, not necessarily good for couples.)

Twenty-four-year-old Ryann issued the ultimatum to her partner and high school sweetheart James after seven years together. She felt that the couple had been together long enough to know if they were each other’s "forever person" and so felt it was time they took the next step.

The couple had been overcome with communication and trust issues throughout their time together, which wasn't helped by the fact James has spent five and a half years finishing his education in another state. They also had never lived together. 

However, James felt that the couple wasn't ready to get married just yet as he wanted them to be financially stable beforehand and there were also some things he felt Ryann needed to know about him and his childhood, which he hadn’t shared yet. He also wanted to focus on his career. But Ryann had put her foot down and said enough was enough, and he should know whether or not she was his "forever."

What happened between Ryann and James during ‘The Ultimatum’?

During the choice ceremony, Ryann and Trey coupled up; she chose him because she “immediately noticed how similar me and Trey were,” while she felt she and James were opposite in a lot of ways. She also added that she and Trey could talk about anything and that was something she felt was needed in a marriage.

James coupled up with Riah, explaining that he felt comfortable opening up to her and that he and Ryann had always had the issue of opening up, but with Riah it came easier as he felt that she just listened. 

However, despite initially getting on, the experiment was too much for James. On the first night, he went outside late to phone a friend to discuss how scared he was to lose Ryann. He explained it really sunk in after hearing Trey talk about how awesome she was. During the experiment, James described intimacy as an “all or nothing” situation and because he had cheated on Ryann in the past, he wouldn’t get close to anyone else. So, this alongside the realization that Ryann was his forever, put his and Riah’s relationship strictly in the friend zone.

This was the complete opposite of Ryann and Trey’s experience, which went so well that they made a scrapbook of their time together. Trey even admitted that he had "caught feelings" for Ryann.

However, upon getting back together for three weeks and a big nighttime argument, James finally opened up to Ryann about his childhood and how he had never felt good enough for anyone including his parents. They finally seemed to move forward in their relationship and when it came to the ultimatum day, Ryann said yes to James’ proposal.

Viewers were convinced that the high-school sweethearts of the season were still together because not only did the show seemingly bring them closer, but fans also spotted Ryann wearing an engagement ring in a few of her Instagram posts. 

At the reunion, the couple confirmed they are still together and are getting married on September 30, 2023. The couple now lives with her parents and siblings and is actively looking for a place to buy together. But Ryann says it's good practice for James who is an only child because the environment will be similar when they have children. Also, according to James’ LinkedIn, he started a new job as a mechanical designer in Sumter, South Carolina, in March 2023, so the couple definitely seems to be solid.

When discussing her past connection with Trey, Ryann reveals that she thought about messaging Trey a few items but decided not to because she didn’t want to stir anything up between him and Riah.

Having a connection with both of their trial partners, Riah and Trey went on quite the same page at the start of The Ultimatum season 2, which aired its final two episodes on Netflix on Wednesday, August 30. 

The reality dating show centers on five couples disagreeing over whether to get married: usually one is ready to tie the knot, but the other isn't ready to commit. To solve the dilemma, one partner will issue an ultimatum that lands them on the show. During the season, The Ultimatum season 2 couples switch partners for a three-week trial marriage, before switching back to their original significant other for three more weeks. At the end of the experience, they are asked the ultimate question: Do they want to marry their (original) partner or move on?

It was an especially important question for Riah Nelson and Trey Brunson, the latter of whom had a great relationship with his trial wife, Ryann McCracken. On the decision day, Riah did accept Trey's proposal, but did the couple's happiness last after the series? Here's everything we know. 

Why did Riah and Trey go on ‘The Ultimatum’?

Trey and Riah met on a dating app and were initially long-distance until Riah moved into Trey’s apartment.

Two years into their relationship, Trey was ready to fully commit and wanted to get married, but Riah was hesitant because she felt Trey was not meeting her standards when it came to date night, standards that Trey felt were heavily affected by social media. Riah also wasn’t ready to settle down just yet as she wanted to move to a big city and go to school, which put Trey on edge. But since Trey wants to have a marriage like his parents, who have been together for 30 years, he decided to issue an ultimatum to his girlfriend.

Trey and Riah had two very different experiences during the experiment.

During the choice ceremony, Trey coupled up with Ryann, whom he picked because he felt she would make a really good wife. Riah, in turn, ended up choosing Ryann’s partner James because he allowed her to open up and not feel judged. James also helped Riah realize that she ultimately did want to get married and have kids.

Trey’s trial marriage with Ryann went so well that at the debrief before he recoupled up with Riah for three weeks, he admitted that he developed feelings for Ryann. As you might expect, Riah was not pleased to hear this—even though she had her fair share of reservations about her relationship.  

Riah’s connection with James wasn’t as great, as he struggled to commit to the experience after realizing on the first night that Ryann was his forever person. This put his relationship with Riah in the friend zone, which got even worse after he became convinced that Riah wanted to sleep with him after she confronted him in episode four about why he had become less affectionate. When she asked him to hold her hand or give her a hug, James responded: “I think it’s just a time and a place.”

When Trey and Riah got back together, they had a lot of issues to work through including how upset Riah was about Trey catching feelings for Ryann. On Trey’s feelings for Ryann, Riah said:  “It’s just super difficult to move past it.” However, they did work through them, as Riah ended up saying yes to Trey’s proposal.

Lisa and Brian aren't the only ones from season 2 embarking on parenthood. 

On Monday, September 4, news broke that Riah and Trey are expecting a baby in January 2024. 

On Instagram, Riah wrote, "Next Chapter: Motherhood 👶🏾🍼. These past 5 months have been so sweet and special. From hearing your heartbeat to little flutters and kicks. We cannot wait to meet you."

Likewise, Trey was just as excited to share the announcement. He wrote on Instagram, "EVERYBODY!!! Me and @jeriahnyree are ready to welcome our baby into the world. I fell in love with our little one as soon as I found out she was pregnant ❤️❤️❤️."

Before the reunion, viewers were convinced the couple were together as they posted Instagram posts recently in the same places. On Riah’s birthday, she posted that she was in Tampa, Florida, and Trey also posted photos in the same city. In Riah’s photos, viewers also spied what looked like an engagement ring.

Viewers turned out to guess right, as at the reunion the couple confirmed they were still together. They even discussed their plans to have a destination wedding in 2024 as Riah still wanted a gold wedding.

Things were touch and go for Kat and Alex, The Ultimatum season 2 couple, during season two of the Netflix reality dating show, but where do things stand for the duo today? 

Like its predecessor, The Ultimatum season 2 put couples through a social experiment that challenged them to decide if they want to marry their partner or break up for good.

During the series, the couples temporarily break up and date someone else for three weeks in a trial marriage, before getting back together with their original partners to then decide whether or not they want to get married or move on from their relationship. 

Season two of the show was packed with drama, as the couples struggled to put their now exes out of their mind to fully commit to the experiment, including Alex Chapman and Kat Shelton. So what happened with Kat and Alex since the finale of The Ultimatum? Here's everything we know.

Why did Kat and Alex go on ‘The Ultimatum’?

The adventurous couple met on a dating app and since getting together two years prior, traveled a lot together but that had not stopped them from having issues.

The couple struggled with communication as travel nurse Kat tried to avoid conflict and usually diverted to Alex to make decisions, a trait Alex later admitted disliking. Alex, who works in software sales, wanted to be challenged more and have his partner be his equal, leaving him hesitant to propose to Kat.

Luckily for Alex, Kat was vocal about him needing to get over his “logical and practical” mindset, which was stopping him from proposing. So she signed them up for The Ultimatum. 

What happened between Kat and Alex during ‘The Ultimatum’? 

The couple were initially pretty committed to the experiment and at the choice ceremony, Alex picked Roxanne because she was the “polar opposite of Kat." 

He explained Kat was soft and very sweet, super nice and Roxane was more like a driver: forward, direct, witty and smart. He added that he liked Roxanne's independent energy because he knew she could handle problems in “the best way possible," to which Kat said she was a bit hurt as she didn’t know personality things were missing from their relationship. In turn, Kat chose Roxanne’s ex, Antonio, which meant they had a full-circle swap. Kat revealed that Antonio made her feel “very comfortable” and she enjoyed their conversations.

During the respective girls' and guys' nights, Alex told Antonio that Roxanne didn’t respect him and Alex wasn't happy about it. He completely disagreed. When he returned to his apartment, Antonio told Kat about what Alex had said, to which she revealed that Antonio’s mom had texted her and said something similar: Roxanne didn’t really like her partner. This led to Antonio arguing with both Antonio and Kat as Roxanne denied ever saying anything of the sort. Roxanne confronted Alex who stood by his words and said Antonio deserved to know that he believed Roxanne didn't respect him.

The argument made the remainder of both of their trial marriages awkward, to the point that Antonio moved out of their apartment before Kat even woke up. Alex refused to apologize to Roxanne despite her apologizing for her words in the heat of the moment.

However, the argument did leave Kat and Alex realizing how much they loved one another and made them more committed to working things out between them. Alex reflected on how Kat was indeed confident, while Kat said she’d ask Alex to show his emotions more.

Before decision day, Kat reiterated that she “can’t imagine her life without him” and that she thought that they “have something really special" and she wanted to take the next step with him. Alex still had hesitations as he admitted: “Once you make it, you’re in. Like you have to be all-in and you have to stay all-in. It’s make or break.”  

Luckily, on decision day, he realized he couldn’t live without Kat and proposed to her. He said that she was strong in her own way and they worked really well together.

Are Kat and Alex from 'The Ultimatum' still together? 

Before the reunion, viewers suspected the couple could still be together because they still follow each other and they had tagged each other in photos in September 2022; if they had broken up, they would have likely deleted those pictures. 

At the reunion, it was revealed that not only were Kat and Alex still together and thriving but they also had "save the date" cards, which they handed to cohosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey at the end of the reunion episode, which dropped on Netflix on Wednesday, August 30. 

During the reunion, Kat said that she feels that Alex is more ready to settle down than she is: "He’s ready to have a house and he has, I think, more baby fever than I do.” However, Alex and Kat also clashed once again with Antonio and Roxanne. 

Alex said looking back on his and Roxanne and Antonio’s argument, he wishes he had made it more clear to Antonio that he was not after Roxanne. However, Roxanne said, “I feel like I see through bulls**t so I know my opinion hasn’t changed.” Trey said that he felt there were things Alex could’ve elaborated more on while he was speaking but didn't think he had a bad intention.

Roxanne also added that she was trying to say the same thing as Kat’s friends on girls' nights when questioning why Alex wasn’t ready. However, Kat disagreed and said that Roxanne never had good intentions and was instead trying to gaslight her.

Thirty-year-old freight broker Antonio Mattei issued the ultimatum to his thirty-one-year-old girlfriend Roxanne Kaiser, the founder and CEO of her own company Pasted Nip, a “braless alternative” pastie.

The couple had been on and off for four years and while Antonio wanted to get married, Roxanne didn't because she was heavily focused on her career. Roxanne wanted somebody who matched her income and ambition, which Antonio didn't just yet. 

Not only that but Roxanne was unsure if she ever wanted to get married. On the flip side, Antonio also wanted Roxanne to be more affectionate with him. As viewers saw on the show, Roxanne even struggled to say “I love you”. So, in an attempt to resolve their issues, Antonio issued the ultimatum because he believed “that kind of pressure needs to be applied” to Roxanne.

What happened between Roxanne and Antonio during ‘The Ultimatum’? 

While getting to know other partners during the initial talking stage of the experiment, Roxanne made it pretty clear to everyone that she was bothered by Antonio’s lack of career ambition and she was also not interested in ever getting married. However, she ended up hitting it off with Alex Chapman, whom she bonded with over being an entrepreneur and not being ready for marriage. 

So, when it came to the choice ceremony, Alex and Roxanne ended up picking each other to live with for the three weeks. Alex said he liked Roxanne's independent energy and Roxanne liked how similar he was to her. Antonio picked Alex’s ex Kat Shelton because he said he could feel how affectionate Kat was and she recognised the hard work he puts in.

When Roxanne and Antonio reunited, they cleared the air and Antonio admitted he knew early on in the experiment that Roxanne was the one for him.

On the final day of the experiment, also known as proposal day, it was a bit and touch and go on whether or not Antonio and Roxanne would get married. Roxanne admitted she had no idea what she would say until she was in the moment and would accept whatever came out of her mouth. Luckily, she said yes despite telling Antonio how scared she was about getting married.

Are Roxanne and Antonio still together today?

Before the reunion, viewers speculated that the couple were still together as, despite Roxanne last tagging Antonio in a post in September 2022, Antonio still followed Roxanne and her business account. They also thought the couple was still together because of ads from Kinetic Content, which helped cast season two of the show, with filming having taken place in late summer and early fall of 2022. 

The reunion episode confirmed that the couple are still together but that Roxanne had not been wearing her engagement ring as she found it weird and possessive, especially as Antonio didn’t wear one. She admitted that she kept the ring in a box.

When discussing their plans to get married, Roxanne also revealed she has no immediate plans. Even when Vanessa told them that Nick was an ordained minister and could marry them then and there, Roxanne said no because marriage was not the top of her priority.

So, is the Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall situation purely platonic, or have the co-workers taken things up a notch?

Selling the OC season 2 hit screens on Friday, September 8, and we're banking on some drama in the love department, particularly from Stanaland, who called it quits with his wife, actress Brittany Snow shortly after the debut series landed on Netflix in 2022. Though "irreconcilable differences" were to blame for their divorce, we suspect that the almost-kiss with Kayla Cardona and his flirty office behavior caught on camera didn't help matters. 

Stanaland has seemingly been attempting to move on in the wake of his divorce, and he's sparked a few dating rumors with Hall since parting ways with Snow. Will this be a friends-to-lovers situation?

What's going on between Tyler Stanaland and Alex Hall?

In late 2022, Stanaland and Hall were caught getting quite comfortable with one another at the opening of Nobu Dubai at Atlantis The Palm. In an interview with People, Hall denied that anything romantic was happening...at least not yet. 

"We were literally at our favorite sushi restaurant right by the office and somebody snapped a picture on their iPhone of us," she told the outlet. "And we were out with more than just us."

But when she further began to justify the flirty outing, things got a little sus with the "at this point we're just friends" line. Could she be holding out hope for something more?

"His close friends know a little bit more about his personal life than the audience knows. So anybody in their right mind, I mean, who do you call when you're going through issues? You call your friends. I think people really want to hold onto that idea that there's something there between Tyler and [I]. Then, in early 2023, Stanaland was caught hopping around California with an unidentified woman, and he even took to Instagram Stories to post their hike, which included the woman in pink workout clothes flipping the bird. Since then, it's been relatively quiet for the realtor, judging from his social media posts.

Once cameras started rolling, we became wrapped up in their flirty behavior and a will-they-won't-they situation. Between neck kisses in Cabo, Stanaland playfully carrying Hall to a listing when she couldn't walk in her heels, we weren't surprised come the end of the season when the two shared a kiss in a hot tub at Polly Brindle's birthday party. 

Their banter had long been a topic of conversation amongst the O Group staff—and not necessarily a good one—but they finally gave in to temptation, and as Hall said, "opened Pandora's box."

Where do Tyler and Alex Stand now?

According to a new interview with US Weekly, the two are in the midst of figuring out what's next and don't have a definitive answer about their status. 

"I think we’re still navigating our friendship," Stanaland told the outlet. "Obviously, you see in season 2 [that] we explore some things. It leads to a steamy moment and I think we’re still kind of trying to figure it out, but we remain really close friends and I don’t have an answer [on where we stand] for you at the moment."

Though Hall revealed that she is comfortable in the friendship, she's nervous to take things to a new level. 

"It’s easy and it’s comfortable because there it is, just that. It’s a friendship," she said. "There’s no strings attached and I think adding that other element is scary. Some things are awkward, you know what I mean?"

When is the finale of 'The Ultimatum' season 2?

On Wednesday, August 30, we'll be treated to the final two episodes of The Ultimatum, which means that we're about to encounter the engagements. (You already got a sneak peek of one couple about to say yay or nay.) The OG couples will come together, dressed to the nines in a serene location, to either get engaged or move on. We'll be honest, James and Ryann have us doubtful, considering his past infidelity and her strong connection with Trey. Will Antonio's realization towards the end of the season be enough to sway Roxanne into forever, or is she still too preoccupied with her business? We have SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. 

Then, after the finale where we learn about everyone's fate, we're treated to The Ultimatum reunion, a sit-down alongside hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey to uncover where everyone stands post-filming. Unlike Love Is Blind, we don't get a sneak peek into married life a la After the Altar: we're just catching up on the couch alongside the show's willing participants. 

Do you think our pairs are headed for success or officially doomed? Considering The Ultimatum: Queer Love couples did not fair terribly well after the experiment, we'll admit that we have our doubts, especially given all that transpired throughout the season. Can they overcome the hurdles? 

Regardless of where everyone will stand, creator Chris Coelen believes he can attribute the show's success to the way in which viewers relate to the couples. 

"It's about, 'Am I willing to commit to you for the rest of my life? So starting off of that impulse and relatable idea, we felt like if you put a group of couples together who are all seriously thinking about getting married and all potentially questioning their relationship in the long-term, and allow them to choose one another based on things that they thought that they might want in their future," Coelen told E! News in 2022.
