Are the pods closing up shop, or can we expect Love Is Blind season 6 at some point in the near future? Sure, we've only just met the Love Is Blind season 5 couples, and they are quite literally still in the honeymoon phase, but we can't help but think ahead—our future TV binges depend on it. 

Will this wild ride see another season, or will we have to part ways with the extremely unorthodox yet completely engrossing premise? Will those Love Is Blind lawsuits, which allege mistreatment of contestants and inadequate pay, have any effect on the future of the franchise? Here's what you need to know. 

Will there be a 'Love Is Blind' season 6?

Though we don't have a sense of timelines quite yet, it appears that Love Is Blind season 6 is in the works with Netflix and the show's creator, Kinetic Content. At this time, any legal allegations do not appear to affect what's coming down the pipeline, but we'll be sure to keep you updated, should that change. 

According to multiple sources, filming is about to get underway towards the end of 2023, though it's still unclear where the next set of hopeful romantics will be from. Love Is Blind casting calls revealed that scouts were in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota areas, so it's possible we can get a taste of the Midwest since we've been to Texas twice in a very short amount of time. (We've been to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Houston thus far.) Regardless of the location, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen wants to keep things coming. 

"Gimmicks might work for a season, but then you’re done. And these shows have to be nurtured," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Sometimes, even within the reality industry, people take execution for granted. I’ve heard comments from really smart people in this business to the effect of 'Oh, by your second or third season, a show’ll just edit itself.' No, it won’t!"

When can we expect 'Love Is Blind' season 6?

Although it's too soon to say, we suspect that Love Is Blind season 6 will make its way to our screens at some point in spring 2024. But until then, we'll just have to busy ourselves with the most recent declarations of love...and drama, of course.

Ever notice that we have pod stragglers? Are all of the Love Is Blind engagements actually documented each season? We have such a lengthy roster of hopeful romantics in the beginning, but then things tend to dwindle down in the cast as the episodes go on. 

We can't help but question how things play out and what isn't caught on camera—especially considering the Love Is Blind season 5 couples only consist of three pairs, a significant decrease from seasons past. Are people following the second-chance method à la Zack and Bliss? Will we get reacquainted with past connections the way we did with Monica and Josh? Here's what's going on.   

Why don't we see all of the 'Love Is Blind' engagements?

As it turns out, we only witness a handful of what actually takes place in the pods, according to Love is Blind creator Chris Coelen. 

"You only have so many crews and so much budget and so much time,” he told Netflix Tudum. “It would be amazing to follow everybody, but you just have to decide what feels like a good group to follow."

There's a good chance we really don't know how connections unfolded, and there could have been relationships blossoming that we didn't even get a chance to witness. There might've been wild pairings we'd never see coming! 

However, according to Coelen, having too much content is actually a good thing. When the show first began, there was a fear that there wouldn't be successful pairings, and things would simmer out after the pods. Who would go on those honeymoons and get a few weeks in those swanky new apartments?! 

"In real life, we ended up having more success than you even see on the show, in terms of people falling in love and getting engaged in the pod part of the show," he told The AV Club. "There were more couples that got engaged than we were able to follow, which we did not expect at all. We felt like we would be lucky to have just one couple, and we had an overwhelming abundance of stories."

What we also encounter are plenty of friendship developments, particularly in the women's quarters. Aaliyah and Lydia become inseparable, but did that connection negatively impact Aaliyah's love with Uche? Well...

Does Aaliyah leave 'Love Is Blind' season 5 early?

Aaliyah and Uche hit it off from the get-go because of their shared love of poetry and desire to dig deep in to each other's feelings. Despite a hiccup along the way about cheating and trust issues, the two decide to give forever a shot. But on the day that Uche ventured to the pods to propose, he learned that Aaliyah left the experiment. 

Despite the love she had for Uche, she tells My Imperfect Life that the situation felt off—for one particular reason. 

"To be honest, it was just a gut feeling," she says. "It was just an intuition moment for me. I felt like I was making the best decision for myself and everyone involved at the time."

What caused Aaliyah to make her decision?

Despite a few ups and downs along the way, Aaliyah and Uche proved to be a solid connection...until her best friend, Lydia, dropped a bombshell. It wasn't uncommon for Aaliyah and Lydia to share "I love you's" and Aaliyah even confessed that she believed Lydia would be a wonderful auntie to her kids someday. Plus they comforted one another throughout their dating trials and tribulations. Even if love wasn't in the cards, these two had each other. 

However, things took a very confusing turn when Aaliyah learned that Uche was Lydia's ex—a secret she had been keeping the entire time Aaliyah was dating him and confiding in her friend about him. Were there lingering feelings? Could this odd dynamic work out in the future? Would everyone be able to come together and eventually laugh about it?

While in the women's living quarters, Aaliyah felt as though she was receiving unsolicited info about Uche from Lydia—things she wanted to learn for herself. When she jokingly told Lydia that she could have Uche back if they didn't work out, a verbal confrontation erupted, one we don't see play out on screen. The dynamic and the tension became too much. 

Though things ended on dramatic terms, Aaliyah tells us she has no regrets. 

"I think we both know that we have a mutual respect for one another," she tells My Imperfect Life. "I think we both want each other to be happy and in a good place."

But when it comes to love, fellow contestant Milton (Lydia's other half) puts it well—for all participants: 

"Love, you know, like anything, requires work. It requires commitment," he tells My Imperfect Life. "I often think of it like getting through undergrad: there are some good semesters, and there are some tough semesters. You may not be on the Dean's List every semester, and that's OK. You know, sometimes you have to do something to boost that GPA."

We'll wait to see what kind of a semester it is for Uche and Aaliyah.

Just when we think we've seen it all, Lydia and Uche, Love Is Blind season 5 cast members, come in to throw us for a loop. All seems status quo in the pods: we have connections forming, heartbreaks happening, and singles trying to figure things out—nothing out of the ordinary upon the season premiere on Friday, September 22. Then, the 30-year-old geologist and her blind date, Uche, a 33-year-old attorney, seem to send the series into uncharted waters. 

Upon both parties entering the pods, Uche introduced himself, to which Lydia bluntly said, "F***"

"That's not the reaction I was expecting," he admitted. 

So, what's going on, and why exactly is Lydia less-than-pleased to hear from someone she's never seen, let alone met? Well, we did hear that Love Is Blind season 5 would be the most dramatic yet. Is this what Netflix was referring to? Allow us to give you the scoop.

What's the drama between Lydia and Uche from 'Love Is Blind'?

As it turns out, Lydia and Uche actually dated outside of the pods and started cracking up upon recognizing each other's voices. 

"I don't know if this is a sign," Uche confessed. 

"Right? Is this a sign that we stop should—you know what I'm saying, cut the crap you want to start at zero? A blessing in disguise," Lydia suggested. 

Given that there's a lot of prep work involved, we were not expecting this blind run-in. 

"We like to be in places that have a big enough regional population that we can cast a really wide net and try to get people who haven't run into each other hanging out in the one bar in town, or they've all run into each other on a dating app," creator Chris Coelen told Entertainment Weekly. "We want a big enough diversity of people, so we tend to go for bigger metropolitan areas just because you find more people there."

All we can say is, "Whoops!"

Do Lydia and Uche reconnect on 'Love is Blind'?

Though the exes decided not to reconnect, there was one *tiny* problem. Uche is dating Aaliyah, Lydia's best friend in the pods—a detail both these exes kept from her. Given that Aaliyah had become so close to Lydia, so much so that she insisted she'd be a "great auntie" to her future children, this seems like a very interesting factor to omit. 

As things got more serious between Uche and Aaliyah and they worked through hurdles over her past indiscretion, that's when he decided to drop the bomb, and needless to say, trust was definitely in question.

"I walked into the pods, and I started talking, and the person seemed to recognize my voice and know certain things about me. It is a girl that I have dated in the past" Uche told Aaliyah. "It's Lydia."

Holy moly. Talk about a curve ball. How is Aaliyah supposed to carry on, especially when it seems that Lydia is a little *too* anxious to give her newfound friend details about their shared partner? 

Uche, for his part, planned to keep things separate, or so he said: "I think it's about me and you establishing our connection and not letting anything get in the way of that," he told Aaliyah. 

When an argument erupted between Lydia and Aaliyah—one which we don't see play out on TV—Aaliyah reassessed everything. Was this truly the right fit? Could she date a friend's ex? Would a Love Is Blind triangle *really* be manageable? Ultimately, she decided that she couldn't continue with the experiment.  

"It's difficult, you know. You're dating the same men. You're forming connections with the same friend, you're forming connections with one another through this, so it's really hard to kind of like navigate all of that," Aaliyah tells My Imperfect Life. 

Though Lydia and Milton go on to be one of the three Love Is Blind season 5 couples to get engaged, will we get closure for Aaliyah and Uche? You'll have to keep up with the rest of the series to find out what happens next.

Taylor and JP, Love Is Blind season 5's first engaged couple, gives fans high hopes. While there might have been drama coming from other pods, these two "sugar butts" went into the experiment wholeheartedly, and it worked! Do we sense a new Brett and Tiffany on our hands? (No naps were involved this go-around.) 

From opening up about childhood struggles and laughing together about the less heavy stuff, the two Love Is Blind season 5 cast members—she, a teacher, he a firefighter—managed to tackle a wide range of topics in a short amount of time and even exchanged "I love yous" from behind a wall. Their emotional connection was solid and they had been vulnerable with one another, but what would happen when they were given the green light to interact IRL? 

“I love JP—and I’ve never seen him before. I don’t have any fear of walking out and him being like, ‘Oh, you’re not cute.’ I don’t feel like that with him, you know? I think it’s because he fell in love with who I am here,” Taylor says, pointing to her heart.

Upon meeting IRL, things are a bit tense between the two. There seems to be some hesitancy and things are a little more awkward now that the wall has been removed. Is it just jitters? Excitement? They seem happy, but a little off-kilter.  

"There was some silence with JP in the pods so I was expecting out there. But, you know, a little bit awkward," Taylor confessed. 

Despite some pauses and some sweaty moments, things seem like they're going to be OK. 

"Just seeing her smile, seeing her look at me—happiest man in the world," JP said. 

Will things get back to normal—well, their "pod" version of normal—when they hit Mexico alongside the other engaged couples? Time will tell how things unfold, but you better believe we're going to be along for the ride. Watch this space for further updates.

We enter the pods to watch others find love. Some, like Aaliyah and Lydia, find friendship along the way. After the mean-girl energy from season 4 of the Netflix series (lookin' at you, Irina and Micah), these instant BFFs were a welcome relief. 

Throughout the turbulence of Love Is Blind season 5, the two continually turn to one another when they need reassurance or a confidence boost. Viewers might even take comfort in knowing that if the ladies don't walk away with a fiancé, they'll at least have each other. When Izzy decides to break things off with Lydia, she turns to Aaliyah. The situation became a little sticky when Aaliyah learned that Uche, her potential fiancé, had once dated Lydia outside of the pods. Was Uche and Lydia's romance truly squashed? If things were truly over between the two, why did Lydia feel the need to needle Aaliyah about their past and give details her friend didn't want to hear? 

After an argument erupted between the two—one that we unfortunately don't see play out on screens—Aaliyah leaves Love Is Blind early and Lydia moves on with her connection, Milton, creating one of the new Love Is Blind season 5 couples. Needless to say, it was a heartbreak we didn't see coming. 

"Friendships, they're probably one of your closest types of relationships in life. It's important to be very honest and open," Aaliyah tells us. "It's okay to be imperfect, but to maintain certain boundaries and respect other's boundaries, you do have to be considerate and be able to step outside yourself."

It can't be easy to all encounter the same men in the pods (well, from behind a wall, anyway) and not let other connections get inside your head. It's practically impossible.

"It's difficult, you know. You're dating the same men. You're forming connections with the same friend, you're forming connections with one another through this, so it's really hard to kind of like navigate all of that," she adds. 

But the shock of learning that your supposed best friend is keeping a major secret from you can't feel good either. Despite the issues between the two, Aaliyah says everyone has moved on in a positive direction. 

"It's been a while since I've talked to her one-on-one, but I think we both know that we have a mutual respect for one another," she says. "I think we both want each other to be happy and in a good place. I know for sure I'm at peace over where things are and the decisions that I've made. And I don't have any regrets about how I handled things."

Ready to meet a new cast of characters? These singles, for better or worse, managed to find their other half. Here's who's who this season.

1. Taylor & JP

These two "sugar butts" celebrated a milestone: the first engagement of season 5! In the pods, Tiffany, a teacher, and JP, a firefighter, were digging deep and getting to the real nitty gritty stuff, which only seemed to make them closer. Once the wall is removed from the equation, what will happen next?

2. Lydia & Milton

Though Lydia had a past with someone else in the pods—who ended up matching with her BFF Aaliyah—she managed to find her footing. After an upset with Izzy, she felt comfortable getting to know Milton, an engineer, though she initially worried that being six years his senior (he's 24) would be a make-it-or-break-it factor. In the end, it was a "make it."

The spunky, passionate, and emotional geologist managed to find love with a young, mature engineer with a seemingly serious and quiet demeanor—quite the opposite of her. In the end, the outlandish experiment really impacted Milton, despite a few hurdles along the way with his leading lady and her previous love life. 

"The experiment is definitely extremely unconventional, and I think that's what kind of drew me to the experience," Milton tells My Imperfect Life. "My main prerogative was to potentially find a wife, and Lydia had a lot of the characteristics and traits I was looking for. Being that she dated previously to me, it didn't really have any merit."

Where do the two stand? We're going to have to wait to find out.

3. Stacy & Izzy

Izzy was a fan-favorite amongst the ladies of the pods but did earn a bit of a reputation for being a playboy (though we can't say we witness that firsthand). He broke Lydia's heart at the beginning of the experiment, only to gravitate toward Johnnie, a lawyer. But then, as he notes, "Stacy came in out of nowhere."

The yin to his yang, Stacy is a firecracker, a world traveler, and all about having fun. She originally had reservations about tying the knot, but something about Izzy's comforting demeanor changed her mind. There might be some lifestyle differences between them, but will they be able to make it work? 

What happened between Aaliyah and Uche?

Aaliyah and Uche were set to be the fourth couple of the season...until she decided not to go through with the experiment *right* as Uche was getting ready to propose. Why the cold feet? Well, it gets complicated...

Love Is Blind season 5 hits Netflix on Friday, September 22. 

Unlike After the Altars of years past, Love is Blind: After the Altar season 4 brings everyone together—including exes Zack and Irina.  

For those who didn't catch the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion in all of its messiness and tech snafus, the get-together was filled with plenty of highs, but not necessarily for Irina. She's gone down in pod squad history for poor treatment of her fiancée and cohorts, particularly Amber. Her behavior, and that of pod BFF Micah, was widely criticized online throughout the season, and it seemed like there would be no hope for redemption. 

Then came the flag football tourney in After the Altar. Couples, exes and singles from the fourth season of the Netflix series joined together for some friendly competition and community.

"I mean, the idea is for everybody to try to squash the beef, you know," Zack said in the teaser trailer. But does he follow his own words of wisdom when his ex is concerned?

Did Zack and Irina make up in 'After the Altar'?

Although there were plenty of apology tours happening throughout After the Altar, Zack and Irina seemingly did not even interact with one another. She had offered an "I'm sorry" to Amber, whom she laughed at during her breakup with Paul, but the exes didn't reunite, as far as we saw. Kudos to them for being able to co-exist in the same space, but we were a little surprised to see the lack of interaction, especially considering her behavior led to Love Is Blind history: the first time someone would propose to their second choice.

Ahead of the April 2023 reunion, Zack revealed to TODAY that he hadn't been in contact with his former fiancée. 

"I have not talked to Irina since Mexico. She sent me text messages, but I honestly never responded to any of them," he confessed. 

But that didn't necessarily mean he was still harboring feelings of resentment. According to another interview with The Tab that was published around the same time, Zack had made peace with the disastrous connection.

 "I've forgiven her for what happened. She knows what she did. And she's definitely dealing with an amplified backlash from it," he said. 

Though Irina issued an apology for her behavior on Instagram, it was not well received by the public. However, she has seemingly made things right with the rest of the pod squad, as she's seen getting together with Micah and her childhood best friend, Shelby, and enjoying the flag football game. 

Perhaps there is room for forgiveness, even if the former couple chooses not to interact with one another. At least they were able to come together in the name of a good game! We'll admit, the drama was fairly tame during After the Altar compared to the rest of the season. If anything, Irina and Micah were not the agents of chaos during the catch-up—we can all thank Monica's resurgence for that!

Jackie Bonds and Marshall Glaze reunite during this reunion of sorts and make peace with one another, plus we catch a glimpse into his new romance with Chay. In After the Altar, we first meet Chay on a double date with Marshall and season 4's favorite couple, Brett and Tiffany. While out playing duffleboard—yes, duffleboard—Chay is introduced to the pod squad as Marshall talks up her accomplishments. 

"She passed her boards, flying colors, and is now Dr. Chay Barnes," Marshall proudly tells his buddies. 

Having graduated from the University of Washington, Chay—or should we say Dr. Chay Barnes—has added a few titles to her résumé: DNP, ARNP, CNM. The nurse practitioner and nurse midwife somehow also found time to create The Wellness Series.

According to Chay, it's considered, "a safe space designed to encourage professionals with motivation + essential habits to show up as their best selves daily. Our goal is to empower you to cultivate a life of optimal Health & Wellness, and help you discover how to live in total alignment with yourself."

Things apparently got serious between Chay and Marshall around the summer of 2022. Fast forward a year and the two are celebrating their milestone anniversary in a sweet decked-out getaway. Though the pair have only just begun their journey, it seems that this is a promising start for them both. 

"I do know that's who I want, and that's who I want to spend my life with," Marshall later confessed to Brett while out on their double date. "I can't think of any other person."

(As an aside, we're particularly in love with the sweet bromance between Marshall and Brett!)

Jackie and Marshall reunited after the tumultuous Love Is Blind season 4 reunion (you know, the one with the massive tech glitches) to put their differences aside. Were the two exes able to move forward amicably? 

In Love Is Blind After the Altar, which hit Netflix on Friday, September 1, we catch all members of the pod squad coming together for a flag football match—and not just the Love is Blind season 4 couples. Naturally, bringing everyone together poses a few challenges, especially for those pairings that did not end on good terms.  

For those who don't recall, Jackie and Marshall got engaged during season 4 of the Netflix series, but ultimately, Jackie had decided she was not a good fit for Marshall, and she seemingly pursued her connection with Josh from the pods while still engaged, which ended up not being the case. She received major flack for refusing to return Marshall's engagement ring and sending a slew of mean-spirited text messages about Marshall to her friends. 

Needless to say, things got a little messy. Though Marshall said during the reunion that he wanted to stop fans from pitting them against one another, will he take his own advice while filming After the Altar?

What happened between Jackie and Marshall in 'After the Altar' season 4?

Despite the terms on which they parted, Jackie and Marshall seemed to squash the beef and put the past behind them. Marshall asked for a quick chat during the group's restaurant outing post-football game, which ended with the two embracing for a hug. 

"The breakup was obviously so messy, and I apologize for that," Jackie said. "I should've been more open. I should've been more nurturing. I just haven't got there yet."

Marshall, for his part, apologized for not wanting to let the relationship go when perhaps he knew he should've. 

"You deserve everything and more. And I do, too. We both do," Jackie added. 

Jackie and Josh are still going strong, and we catch them moving into their new place together. Meanwhile, Marshall found love with a new girl, Chay, who had just become a doctor. (We meet her briefly in After the Altar season 4 during a date night with everyone's favorites, Brett and Tiffany.) All in all, the former couple seemed to have made the right decision and worked through what they both needed to.

Jackie and Marshall's quick chat proves that you can reconnect with an ex in an amicable manner, even if you do not intend to stay close friends. We're glad to see that the issues have been resolved. But as far as Jackie, Josh and Monica? Well, that is another story entirely...

Though things did not pan out well between the two, she did apparently have a strong connection with Jackie and other girls from the experiment. She attempts to rekindle things with her pod squad in After the Altar, but will she be successful?

Who is Monica from 'Love Is Blind' season 4?

In Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 4, we not only catch up with the Love is Blind season 4 couples, but everybody who entered the experiment. (Heck, even Micah's friend Shelby made a comeback, and we're not entirely sure why.) This means that pod squad members who didn't find love throughout the experiment, like Amber, joined our crew for a friendly flag football match. But people were on the defensive during the post-game get-together at a local restaurant. 

Monica, a teacher with a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, was one of the contestants on the show whose happily-ever-after, albeit one that was cut short, was not shown. It's not until After The Altar that we get a glimpse into her brief engagement to Josh—one in which she declares, "I'm engaged to a lunatic"—and attempts to rebuild the super-close connection she had with Jackie, one we never really knew about until this point. 

So, what happens when all members of the pod squad are under the same roof? Hint: nothing good.

All about Monica's sit-down with Jackie and Josh

Though Jackie initially decides to bolt upon learning Monica would be joining the festivities, she stays at the event and even talks with her former friend one-on-one.

"I'm not exactly sure where we went wrong or what I did," Monica revealed to Jackie, who insisted Josh was mad about the "messiness" she revealed to blogs about her brief engagement, though she had yet to name her former fiancé. Just when we thought the conversation was getting to a positive place, Jackie brings in Josh at Monica's request, and things take a turn, particularly when he accuses his ex-fiancée of "clout chasing."

"I don't know how you deal with this man every single day of your life," Monica tells Jackie. "He's a 6-year-old. I really don't know how you deal with this."

Needless to say, this did not go over well, and it looks like not only love, but friendship was lost in the pods. At one point, Jackie does leave the restaurant to get some air. 

In a confessional, she said: "Sometimes you have to throw in the towel and say, 'This ain't good for me.' 'This isn't helping me grow.' 'This isn't good for anything I want to accomplish in my life. And that's it.'"

Well, looks like Monica's return was short and not-so-sweet. As for the rest of the pod squad? It looks like things are going well, but you'll have to tune in to see for yourself.

Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 4 hits Netflix on Friday, September 1. 

It appears Micah Lussier is getting soft. 

The Love Is Blind season 4 cast member earned the title of mean girl alongside Irina Solomonova, and she left the altar in tears when her fiancé, Paul Peden, decided not to move forward with their nuptials. 

Despite her fire-engine red dress at the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion, Micah remained relatively quiet and out of the spotlight, likely due to the backlash she anticipated she'd receive. But when it was revealed during the catch-up that Paul didn't think Micah would make a good mother, you could see the heartbreak in her eyes. 

Though her season was tumultuous for a number of reasons, Micah is now taking a nostalgic approach to her time on TV, and it's definitely not what we were expecting.

What does Micah Lussier's confusing Instagram post *really* mean?

On Tuesday, April 25, Micah decided to send an intimate message to Paul, by way of Instagram, claiming how special their time together had been. 

"Paul, I'll always be so thankful that you came into my life. We shared something so special together & no one will ever be able to replace that. No matter what I'll always love you," part of the message read. 

The comments section was filled with confusion—"If he’s not posting you sis, why are you posting him," one user wrote—and, yes, support and pleas to get back together. Even Paul chimed in with a comment: "My love for you isn't going anywhere. Maybe we're together, maybe we're not, but regardless, we'll still have that no matter what."

"Maybe we're together, maybe we're not"?! 

This seems a bit odd, considering a week earlier, Micah had appeared on The Viall Files podcast claiming she had thought her ex had moved on too quickly after their split. (More Paul dating rumors emerged when he pursued a connection with Wendi Kong from the pods, which ultimately did not last long.) Paul retorted with a comment to TMZ, stating that Micah "f---s off to Europe with some random person."

We're not really sure how, or why, this change of heart came to be, but a factor could be Micah's close connection with Paul's mother, Elizabeth. Not only were the two Doppelgängers, but they shared a similar bubbly personality. Micah said in an Instagram Q&A that they remain in touch: "She has been an amazing support system for me. Even though we aren't family, we will always be friends, and luckily for her and I, Paul supports that!"

Perhaps this post is a way to slowly introduce Micah's following to the idea of dating Paul once again. Are they giving things a third shot?! We'll have to turn to the 'gram for further updates on Paul and Micah. Stay tuned!

Against all odds, the season 1 couple fell in love before first sight and are still going strong four years later, so much so that fans are petitioning for them to host the series. 

After the disastrous Love Is Blind season 4 reunion—massive tech glitches, invasive questions, apparent partiality—fans have become a little fed up with the Lacheys. But will this frustration lead to host changes? Here's what we know. 

Are Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton going to host 'Love Is Blind'?

A now-viral Change.org petition has been making the rounds and reached nearly 43,000 signatures at the time of publication. The purpose? "Remove Nick and Vanessa Lachey as the Hosts of Love is Blind."

Part of the petition reads: "Neither Nick or Vanessa make any effort to guide the cast through a confusing and emotional experience and blatantly attempt to stir up drama and leave." 

There's been plenty of talk about bringing back Lauren and Cameron, but according to a leaked report from The Daily Mail on Tuesday, April 25, this is actually a plan that's being seriously considered. 

When the news broke, the couple didn't address the claims, but according to a selfie on Instagram Stories, they're "making big moves." This definitely made fans suspicious, but judging from the emoji usage—a building and a key—we take it this means they're settling into a new home.

Given that the down-to-earth pair feels relatable to viewers and has had experience with this unique dating experiment, fans have given this move a thumbs up.

However, there is plenty more to address on the show than just the hosts: Love Is Blind lawsuits and allegations arose following the finale of season 4, claiming that the contestants were mistreated, overworked, underpaid and emotionally exploited. Though the production company has denied the rumors, it definitely seems like there needs to be a few changes to the popular Netflix series.

Even if they said "I do," forever isn't guaranteed. A few Love Is Blind divorces have rocked the series, proving that the atypical reality show experiment isn't necessarily successful for everyone. 

Sure, we have shining stars like Lauren and Cameron, and the latest fan-favorite couple, Brett and Tiffany. But life post-pods was a bit more challenging for some pairs than others. 

There are plenty of Love Is Blind couples who are still together, but hearts broke when the unions below deteriorated. 

'Love Is Blind' divorces: who split up after the show?

Breakups abound in the pods—and post-pods. In the most recent season of the show, Paul and Micah ultimately went their separate ways...on their wedding day. Bartise Bowden from season 3, who now shares a newborn with Olivia Gross, said "I do not" at the altar, sending Nancy Rodriguez into heartbreak.

These couples below went through the wedding and married life—yes, Love Is Blind contestants get legally married on the show—but ultimately decided to call it quits. Couples from seasons 1, 3 and 4 are married today, but all the unions from season 2 have gone kaput. Consider it the sophomore slump. 

1. Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely (season two)

Although they appeared happy, fans got suspicious about Jarrette and Iyanna particularly during After the Altar season 2. They did have a strong connection in the pods, but his late nights and excessive partying definitely deterred her once the two were out in the real world. Iyanna had become so frustrated that she actually temporarily moved out, but attended Natalie's birthday gathering with the rest of the season 2 cast on somewhat strained terms with her husband. 

When After the Altar came to a close for viewers, the couple decided to reveal that they decided to go their separate ways: "While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that's OK," Iyanna wrote. "Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best."

2. Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson (season two)

Again, just following After the Altar season 2, Danielle and Nick revealed that they had broken up, and truthfully, it was the split no one saw coming. They felt like our next Lauren and Cameron, but there was evidently quite a lot we didn't see transpire between them. 

Although the public wasn't given a concrete reason as to why the pair decided to call it quits, they both posted a few updates for their social media followers, stating that they're grateful for the experience but having a difficult time handling the breakup, Danielle in particular. Though her initial statement on Instagram is no longer available, she released a series of Instagram stories in 2022 confronting those who criticized her appearance post-split. 

"It’s funny when people are like, 'How are you so happy?'," she wrote. "Would you rather have me post an Instagram Live of me crying for eight hours straight, because I can do that if you want [me] to! That's my reality."

For Nick's part, he wrote: "I'm grateful for this experience, the learnings that came, and those yet to come," he wrote. "I am heartbroken my marriage ended. I know in my heart that I did the best I could and gave it everything I had. I'm optimistic for the future."

All eyes are on the newlyweds! The Truth or Drink Love Is Blind edition has gotten just as much attention as Netflix's notorious "live" reunion. 

Our Love Is Blind season 4 couples came together, with golden wine glasses in hand, to get to know their spouse on a deeper level. Given that they've just participated in one of the oddest reality dating shows in existence, you'd think a few uncomfortable questions wouldn't faze them, right? 

When Kwame and Chelsea, Brett and Tiffany and Zack and Bliss ventured over to gaming and media company Cut for a Truth or Drink game, plenty of laughs and surprises ensued.

Unexpected revelations from Truth or Drink: 'Love Is Blind' edition

Cut's famous game, Truth or Drink, requires participants to ask uncomfortable questions to their partners, and they have the option to either answer or take a shot.  Some of the Q's that came up throughout the video clip include, "Who's better in bed?" "Who gossiped about me in the pods?" and more. 

Now that we've been on an entire journey with this crew, we pretty much knew what to expect from the lovebirds, but we'll admit, there were a few revelations we did not see coming.

1. Brett and Tiffany got flack

Hold the phone: how do you not immediately fall in love with Tiff and Brett? The fan favorites of the season turned us all into hopeful romantics, but we were surprised to learn that they both have a fear of outside commentary getting in the way of their connection. 

"I've gotten some haters, but it is what it is," Tiffany revealed. 

Who are these people? There are quite a few fans who would like a word...

2. Zack got it all wrong

No, we're not just talking about Irina, though obviously, Zack got his first proposal very wrong. He had completely imagined Bliss differently. 

"I imagined her in overalls with long blonde hair," he confessed.

3. Jackie talked smack about Kwame

Apparently, Jackie was not in favor of Kwame and Chelsea splitting the bills; she thought the man should be the one responsible. 

"She wanted to come to me and act like that was a problem," Chelsea joked. "That's not a problem, I'm a grown-ass b****!"

4. Brett was disappointed

Apparently, when Brett rewatched the season, he wished he had done things differently when he finally got to meet Tiffany in person for the first time. 

"Even when I watch it, I didn't show up the way I wanted to," he said. 

We, for one, are completely in favor.

5. Bliss cringed a lot

Bliss, one of our favorite ladies, couldn't stand listening to the sound of her own voice on screen and considered it her cringiest moment. Then, she had a brief moment to think and ultimately decided that Zack's declaration of love to Irina was worse.

"Your song might've been cringey," she said with a laugh.

Are Jimmy and Wendi still together?

Jimmy and Wendi, who didn't make it to Mexico with the other pairs, ended up dating for three months after the pods. Unfortunately, they're no longer together, but remain close, as evidenced by his supportive Instagram post about the experience, which you can see below.

He further revealed to Tudum that the engagement was one of the happiest experiences of his life and he has no regrets about signing onto the Netflix reality dating show. We must hand it to the contestants, they've been very cordial and poised with one another. (Well, minus Micah and Irina.) 

Is Wendi dating Paul now?

Paul and Micah had a rough go—and couldn't make their second attempt at love work after their failed wedding—but Paul's dating life post-pods has been revealed, and he did have an "insane connection" with Wendi, an aerospace engineer. However, he thought that they were a little too alike to make things work in the long run.

"I like myself, but I don't know if I like myself that much that I want to marry myself. We were really similar," Paul revealed to E! News. 

As for Jimmy, the experiment might not have ended with love for him either, but he appears to be in a positive mindset and enjoyed his time in the pods, though it was short-lived compared to other Love Is Blind season 4 couples' experiences.  

“Even though I wasn’t followed or really featured much, I did get some good shots of me playing pool, so I might just become a pool shark," he joked to Tudum.

What's going on with Paul? Love Is Blind dating rumors are starting to swirl around the pod squad's favorite scientist, and if our hypothesis is correct, some interesting details await. 

As you already know, Paul and Micah were the only Love Is Blind season 4 couple to walk away from the experiment unsuccessfully, or in Micah's case, run away, as she stormed off the altar when Paul said no. But you might not have known that the hopeful romantic returned to the unconventional dating setting when pursuing a new relationship.

However, he did strike up a connection with another person from the pods: Wendi, an aerospace engineer. As much as they connected, Paul revealed that their similarities were a little too strong, if you can believe it.

"I had an insane connection with her," he further revealed to E! News. "I like myself, but I don't know if I like myself that much that I want to marry myself. We were really similar."

Wendi ended up getting engaged to fellow Love Is Blind castmate Jimmy Forde, though their relationship was not shown onscreen during the latest season of the show. Ultimately, the two ended up parting ways three months after leaving the pods. 

What did Paul say about Micah during the reunion?

We had a feeling that Paul and Micah would be on shaky ground during the reunion, and our suspicions were confirmed. Paul revealed that one of the reasons he couldn't commit to their life together was the fact that he could not see Micah as a mother, a statement that offended her deeply. 

We were a bit surprised to learn that the two gave their romance another try after their disastrous, tear-filled wedding day. Shortly after the season wrapped, they started seeing each other once more. When Micah relocated to Arizona, where she splits half her time, Paul followed for a weekend together. Ultimately, that's when things truly headed south for the pair, and they split for good. 

Given that so many contestants this season have opted for their second-choice partners—Zack and Bliss got engaged after his breakup with Irina, and Jackie and Josh formed a connection, ultimately leaving Marshall solo—we weren't surprised to hear that Paul returned to a familiar face...er, we mean voice.

What were the most shocking moments of ‘Love Is Blind’ season 4?

There were plenty of “Oh my God” moments throughout the season—and then some! 

Let’s start with Micah Lussier and Irina Solomonova, the mean girls. While temporarily living alongside the other women, the two laughed at another cast member's heartbreak (the same person competing for Paul’s attention as Micah). Then, Irina needled Bliss, Zack's other connection, to get under her skin and drive a wedge between her rival and her connection. Micah got a little too close to her other connection in the pods, Kwame, who was engaged to Chelsea. Both women issued apologies. 

We'll admit, Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi got off to a bit of a rough start...in that he proposed to Irina Solomonova first. After that disaster of a relationship, Zack quickly backtracked and realized he had broken up with the wrong girl. Though no one likes to be the second choice, Bliss was cautiously optimistic when she began dating Zack after his breakup, but despite the bumps along the way, she knew she had found her one—and accepted his proposal. 

"I'm engaged to Zack," Bliss says in a confessional. "Life is weird. It's exciting and shocking. I feel so cheesy saying this, but I knew that he was my person from just hearing him—our first date."

Things between Jackie and her fiancé Marshall grew rocky once they moved back to Seattle. Between Jackie worrying about family obligations and the two not seeing eye-to-eye on lifestyle choices, it seemed as though they were not headed in the right direction. Plus, it didn't help that Marshall had referred to his connection with Jackie as a "project," considering she had never been in a serious relationship before. 

Ultimately, Josh from the pods reemerged to win Jackie back…and it worked. The two were spotted on a date at the Seattle Mariners game on April 3, 2023, seemingly solidifying their relationship. Jackie’s text messages seemingly hint that she pursued Josh while still engaged to Marshall, though her Instagram explanation denies it. What’s the truth?! We’ll find out!

Who will be at the 'Love is Blind' live reunion?

We can expect all the couples who walked down the aisle to be at the Love is Blind reunion: Tiffany and Brett; Zack and Bliss; Chelsea and Kwame—plus Micah and Paul, the only couple who walked down the aisle but did not say 'I do'. 

But can we expect anyone else to join? Well, looking at previous reunions… yes. 

Season 1 reunion

For the reunion after season one (the golden days of Lauren and Cameron), the couples who had weddings were also joined by Diamond and Carlton, who broke up (in a very dramatic fashion) during their holiday in Mexico. 

Season 2 reunion

This one was…eventful. Remember Shayne? Six couples got engaged during season two but only five walked down the aisle. The ones who didn’t—Shaina and Kyle—still made it to the reunion.

Season 3 reunion

Season three's reunion was also on the dramatic side but all of the couples there did indeed walk down the aisle. 

Season 4 reunion (TBD)

Based on our *very* scientific analysis, we predict everyone who made it to Mexico will be at the reunion—that includes Marshall, Jackie, and Irina. Plus Bliss, of course—she didn’t make it to Mexico but she did get a ring!

The jury is still out on Josh, who may have rekindled things with Jackie (the two were spotted out on a date recently).

Fans of the show are getting very excited that the reunion is happening live this time. Time to sort out the snacks, folks!

The biggest questions we have ahead of the 'Love is Blind' reunion

As usual, before Love Is Blind reunions, we have lots of questions. The show was recorded around a year before it premiered (March to May 2022), which left plenty of time for things to unfold. Needless to say, we're curious where everyone stands now. 

First of all, we want an update from our three married couples: Tiffany and Brett; Zack and Bliss; Chelsea and Kwame. How is married life? Is everyone still together? Any developments?

During the last LIB reunion, we heard Alexa and Brennon were thinking of having children and that Colleen and Matt weren’t yet living together... after being married for a year. What will our new couples have to tell us?

Then we’ll probably want to get into the Jackie and Marshall situation. Are they friends, or at least friendly now? Is Jackie still with Josh? Is Marshall with someone else?

Moving on to Micah and Kwame. The two were very flirting behind their partners’ backs—now that all the contestants will have had a chance to see the show, will they have anything to say about those steamy conversations?

And finally, Irina. She’ll probably be in attendance given our analysis of previous reunions and the fact that fans have given her a really tough time over her mean girl behavior. What will she have to say about that? Did she ever make a move on Paul after he didn’t marry Micah?

'Love Is Blind' is running late, and the internet is NOT having it

No folks, you're not the only one with tech issues. The show is running 15 minutes behind...supposedly. Netflix revealed the issue on its social media pages.

In the meantime, the internet has decided to do what it does best: complain about the tardiness on social media. We found some gem tweets about the little snafu, and as Brett would say, "This should not happen. This is avoidable."

Think this is a sign of what's to come? We're not sure what to make of this whole fiasco. Hopefully, no one fell asleep. (We kid, Tiffany, we love you!)

Micah apologizes to Chelsea in a never-before-seen clip

We were worried throughout the entire season about Chelsea and Kwame...largely thanks to his lingering feelings for Micah. But in never-before-seen footage, we get a look of the two ladies squashing the beef. 

In the clip, the two ladies—and their dogs—meet to discuss the infamous Mexico flirtation between Micah and Kwame.

"To say we weren’t threatened by each other would be a lie," Chelsea said to Micah during their talk. Ultimately, Micah apologized to Chelsea for the comment she made to Kwame during their Mexico getaway, hinting at their "failed" proposal.

When reflecting on the footage with the audience, Chelsea admits that the discomfort is long gone and added, "Micah and I had a resolution. I believe that she's grown."

Kwame then interrupted to apologize to his wife—and her family. 

Kwame's mom actually exists, and there's proof

In one of the biggest Love Is Blind conspiracy theories of the season, fans alleged that Kwame's "call" to his mother—who was not pleased with his involvement on the show—was fabricated so he could weasel his way out of his union with Chelsea. 

She is, in fact, real and welcomed Chelsea wholeheartedly at Thanksgiving dinner, Chelsea said.  

"It was a wonderful first visit, I felt like 'I'm home,'" she revealed during the reunion

(Oh, and Barbara is Kwame's real sister, not a paid actor.)

Zack forgives Irina...but did not hold back

Zack and Bliss, both eloquently, told Irina that they've forgiven her. However, Zack was a little harsher when addressing his former ex for the first time. 

"You went on this show to get famous," he accused her. 

Bliss, for her part, kept things friendlier and questioned how she could treat such a wonderful person so horribly. Bliss told Irina, "I just really hope that you grow from this." 

One thing's for sure, the season's mean girl has been put in her place. 

In a move no one saw coming, Micah and Paul dated after their wedding

They might've had a disastrous wedding day, but Paul and Micah weren't entirely convinced that their connection was kaput after the altar. Surprisingly, Paul admitted during the reunion that the two dated after their wedding day. 

"It was pretty brief here in Seattle," he admitted, noting that Micah had to venture back to her place in Arizona. 

Once he headed to the Grand Canyon State for a weekend with Micah, their communication ended again...for good this time. 

Wait, is *THAT* why Marshall wanted the ring back?! 

Jackie and Josh are going strong, but what about Marshall? He definitely doesn't seem to be on speaking terms with his ex. The reunion featured interview footage of Jackie and Josh, during which she alleged that Marshall wanted the ring back because he wanted propose to another girl. 

WAIT, WHAT?! This is certainly the first we're hearing about this...

According to Marshall, that's not so—even though he did go on a date with someone else from the pods after his split with Jackie (Keisha). 

"It was a symbol of my love. We picked out those rings, and in that moment, I felt like 'That's for her [Jackie],'" he said about the reasoning behind asking for the ring back.

Though there's definitely some hard feelings between the two, Marshall said he wants the hatred to stop, seemingly referencing how fans are taking sides.

"The you verses me thing needs to die," he said. 

Is someone from 'Love Is Blind' season 4 pregnant?!

Auntie Vanessa wants nothing more than a Love Is Blind baby, and she's dying to know when the couples are going to start their families. In a short clip, we hear from Bartise from season 3—in case you haven't heard, Bartise is a father now—asking when the newlyweds will get to it. His little fella needs a friend, after all. 

Well, it doesn't look like anyone will be expecting anytime soon. The consensus is that the pairs are just enjoying their marriages right now. 

"We want to have our lives set before we bring a life into this world," Tiffany said. 

Netflix teases its next relationship series

The Love Is Blind casting for season 5 might still be underway, but reality TV fans will have something to sink their teeth to in the meantime: The Ultimatum: Queer Love, which premieres on the streamer on May 24. Okay, folks—if you missed out last night and want to catch up, you've probably noticed the Love is Blind reunion is not working on Netflix at the moment. But worry not because Netflix promised it will be dropping globally at 12pm PT on April 17 (that's 3pm ET and 8pm for those in the UK).

Maybe you were planning to catch up after a day out, or maybe you were saving it for early morning viewing—so you might not be thrilled to find out that the Love is Blind reunion is not working on Netflix.

But what exactly happened and when will you be able to watch it? (Here's a full recap if you don't mind the spoilers.)

Why is the 'Love is Blind' reunion not working on Netflix?

That's right—the streaming service's second-ever live event did not go to plan last night, which is why the reunion is not available to watch yet. 

Viewers who tuned in to the live stream had to wait for over an hour for it to start and kept getting the message: "Pardon the interruption. We’re having trouble playing Netflix. Please check your internet and try again."

They finally got going at 9:18pm ET, although it was no longer live. Plus, not everyone could actually access the stream, leaving many fans unable to watch the reunion. Not the relaxing, fun evening we had in mind...

When will the 'Love is Blind' reunion be available to stream on Netflix? 

Rest easy though because Netflix has officially announced that Love Is Blind: The Reunion will be available to watch globally at 12pm PT on April 17. That's 3pm ET (and 8pm for those in the UK).

Earlier in the evening, Netflix had issued an apology, telling fans they were filming it rather than streaming it live.

"To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We're filming it now and we'll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry", they wrote on Twitter.

We'll forgive you Netflix but the tea better be good! 

There is plenty of Love Is Blind rules for hopeful romantics to follow once they enter the pods, but Micah Lussier might've let us in on another tidbit we're unaware of. 

On April 14, the final episode of season 4 dropped, alerting us to which Love Is Blind season 4 couples are still together. In honor of the big reveal, the cast put up images on social media pages to celebrate. Micah's TikTok caption read, "Whenever I'm a glass deep away from my man" and we catch a glimpse of her left finger with a ring. 

So...does that mean what we think it means?!

'Love Is Blind' rules and Micah's take on them:

Although Paul and Micah ultimately went their separate ways by the end of the fourth season—she left the altar in tears as her friend, Shelby, looked on with pure joy—she was caught on TikTok wearing a ring on that finger. Not an engagement ring, but what appeared to be a wedding ban. Well, well, well...

When a fan caught wind of this, she thought it was a spoiler. (Little did she know Micah's wedding day was a disaster.) Micah insisted that the ring was placed on her right hand, though, spoiler again, it was indeed her left ring finger. The reality star chimed back in with, "We aren’t allowed to wear rings whether we got married or not."

First things first: is she breaking the rules by wearing this ring, right on the day that everything is revealed? Do the pod squad members have to adhere to strict jewelry policies, so as not to tip off any viewers about their final outcomes? And, should this ring have nothing to do with Paul—which it likely does not—does that mean there's someone else in her life?

According to our sister site Marie Claire, some of the rules that contestants must adhere to include not telling relatives that they're engaged until after they return from their honeymoon. Additionally, after the wedding episode is filmed, all those filmed must keep their relationship status a secret so as not to reveal anything. Given that there is a big time difference between when the weddings were filmed and when they aired, that's certainly a tall order. 

My Imperfect Life reached out to Netflix about the ring situation but did not hear back at the time of publication. Given that they are supposed to keep things on the down low until the big reveal, we wouldn't be surprised if there are jewelry limitations. That being said, we definitely think Micah might've accessorized a tab bit too soon. 

Although we now know who says "I do," we'll learn everyone's current relationship status during the first-ever live reunion. On Sunday, April 16 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion will make its way to Netflix, and though we can't say anything for certain, we're fairly sure it's going to be a wild ride!

It's not every day a woman parts ways with her Fenty Gloss Bomb, so it's especially curious how one ended up nestled in between pillows on Kwame's couch. (Yes, that Kwame.) 

For those who are unfamiliar with the Love Is Blind season 4 couples, one of the rockier pairs on the show is Kwame and Chelsea. While she is all in, Kwame seems to have lingering feelings for Micah, his other connection in the pods, and he's skeptical about starting a life with his fiancée over in Seattle. (He hails from Portland.) 

To make matters all the more cringe-worthy, when Kwame brings his wife-to-be to his bachelor pad, there's another woman's beauty buy in plain sight, but Chelsea was caught off-guard by the box of tissues and lotion nestled in close proximity to one another. Luckily for all of us, the reps at Fenty made the catch and posted their findings to TikTok.

Is that a Fenty Gloss Bomb on Kwame's couch?!

Kudos to the social media manager at Fenty—whoever it is has a good eye and might want to consider a career in espionage. In a clever post, said social media manager provided up-close footage of the lipgloss on the couch. While yes, we totally understand that Kwame had a romantic life before Chelsea entered the equation, you'd at least think he'd tidy up before bringing his new lady to see his digs.

This is one of the many reasons why the internet is furious with him, in addition to not one but two inappropriate talks with Micah post-engagement, seemingly lying about his sister Barbara and possibly even the phone call with his mother, who allegedly isn't happy about his upcoming nuptials. (A popular Love Is Blind conspiracy theory insists that Kwame's troubling phone call with his mom was actually fake and simply a way to get out of his engagement.) 

It goes without saying, but TikTokers had a field day with this wealth of information. 

"Will the real Fenty gloss owner please stand up," one user wrote. Another chimed in with, "I caught this too and had to re-watch it twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things."

Tying the knot is not an inexpensive or trivial proposition, and considering the process is sped up so considerably for the Love Is Blind couples, it's no surprise that fans are suspecting that some of the fairytales are a result of sharp editing. So, where do pod-goers stand? Are they in it for romance, or are they searching for their 15 minutes of fame? Is this all real?

Do 'Love Is Blind' contestants get legally married?

Yes, once they say "I do"—though, as you know, some choose to say no at the altar—it is in fact a real, legally-binding wedding. The fan-favorite couple, Lauren and Cameron, addressed the legitimacy ahead of the season 1 reunion.  

“That’s the part that was so scary for me. This is a real legally binding marriage. This is not for TV. This is our life," Lauren confessed to Refinery29. 

Likewise, the series creator Chris Coelen—who is also responsible for the equally addicting Marriage At First Sight—told Bustle that all of the nuptials are real. But he did note in an interview with Variety that no one is pressured to propose, which is a weight off contestants' shoulders and a huge burden for producers. What if no one says yes?!

"Here, nobody had to do anything. It was if you find someone, if you choose. Which is so scary. They don't have to go through with the wedding ceremony," he told the publication.

In that same interview, Coelen noted how he and his team are especially attuned to who they are casting. 

"There’s a lot of good shows out there where people can find love, but it’s not really that serious. We wanted people who are genuine about it," he further revealed to the outlet. "That was kind of criteria number one."

(Needless to say, a select few contestants fell through the cracks.) 

Who pays for the weddings on 'Love Is Blind'?

Netflix shells out quite a bit of dough for its lucky couples, between their engagement rings, tropical honeymoons, housing accommodations and wedding day celebration. However, beyond the dress, music and venue, Netflix asks that any personal touches for the weddings are paid for by the couple...which could be tricky given that one party might say no. 

We are very anxious to see what's ahead for our Love Is Blind season 4 couples. On Friday, April 14, the wedding episode will drop, and we'll finally learn who says "I do". What is 'After the Altar'?

After the Altar is just like it sounds: a catch-up with the couples after they say "I do" (or run for the hills). Unlike the reunion, this is not a formal sit-down Q&A, but rather a catch-up with the cast back in the real world, post-pods. Typically, After the Altar films roughly one year after the show and premieres and lands on our screens several months after the initial season premiered.

Nancy Rodriguez, Love Is Blind star, left the reality dating experiment crushed when her fiancé, Bartise Bowden, said "I do not" at the altar in season 3.  

Fast-forward a year-and-a-half, and Bartise is announcing to the world that he is a father, conveniently as the Love Is Blind season 4 couples are about to say "I do." (Coincidence?) Though he left the identity of his son's mother out of the equation, fans suspect that he shares little baby Aiden with Olivia Gross, a Dallas resident by way of South Dakota. 

Considering we were so engrossed in the current season's drama, you can definitely color us shocked by the news from this Love Is Blind alum—especially given that Bartise was part of the Perfect Match cast. When was Perfect Match filmed? March 2022. When did Bartise welcome his little one? December 2022. As Instagram users keep saying: "The math ain't mathing."

Now, it looks like Nancy, Bartise's ex, is also chiming in with her somewhat subtle commentary. 

What does Nancy Rodriguez from 'Love is Blind' have to say about Bartise's baby news?

In a TikTok posted on Sunday, April 9, two days after Bartise's announcement, Nancy is seen lip-synching to "BO$$ Chick" by Saweetie with the caption: "Minding my business over here…"

A user commented, "LOL I love how this tells so much without saying anything," to which Nancy replied, "Minding mine….🤓"

Is she really, though?! This little cameo seems pretty telling, and the TikTok community agrees.

Between different political views, past relationships not being completely squashed and a lack of sparks, things were uncertain between Nancy and Bartise. When he rejected Nancy at the altar, she was devastated, and her family was outraged. Given how tumultuous the big day shaped up to be, we were shocked to learn that Nancy was still in touch with Bartise during Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 3. 

"For me to be happy, I have to allow those that have loved me or that want to love me in my life," Nancy confessed. "It's better for me to keep them as a friend than not have them in my life at all." 

Ultimately, her family and the pod squad persuaded her to not hang onto the relationship any longer, and the two made a fairly clean break. But Bartise came under scrutiny—again—for his behavior on Perfect Match, particularly when he betrayed Abbey Humphreys' trust.  

Bartise earned "villain status," and quickly—something that he's aware of. In his baby reveal, Bartise wrote, "Might’ve been the villain on tv, but I’m gonna be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man ❤️ #bigfella," alongside a slew of photos with his kiddo. 

Looks like there's still a little bit of tension between the former pair, but here's hoping everyone moves on peacefully. The Jackie Love Is Blind Instagram drama seems to have taken the spotlight off Micah and Irina. Now, the season's new villainess is coming under fire for the way in which she spoke about her fiancé. 

For the uninitiated, we'll give you a quick breakdown: Jackie and Marshall said "I do," but after a somewhat rocky honeymoon, Jackie contemplated whether or not to move forward with her engagement. That's when Josh, her other connection from the pods, reappeared and begged for her back. 

"If you're going to marry somebody, marry somebody. But if you don't feel like, heart-to-heart, you're going to marry somebody...pick me," Josh told her...and it looks like she did. Josh and Jackie met up for a coffee date while Marshall was trying on tuxes for their wedding, and she broke up with Marshall after her impromptu get-together. However, Jackie alleges that's not the way things unfolded in real life.

The Jackie 'Love Is Blind' Instagram drama, explained

Judging from the way things were edited, it appeared as if Jackie pursued Josh while still tied to Marshall—and alleged text messages she sent to friends even suggest that she was making a romantic switch. However, in a lengthy post on Instagram on Friday, April 7, she decided to reveal her side of the story.

"Marshall and I were broken up before I saw Josh at the coffee shop," she wrote. "I am wearing different clothes, my hair is styled different and at the end of the video I say, "I DON'T KNOW IF I AM GOING TO BE WITH JOSH. Although Jackie has blocked Instagram users from commenting on her post, that hasn't stopped them from taking to other platforms to share their thoughts. 

Fans are suspicious about her honesty because of what she says during her sit-down with Marshall: "I just saw Josh." Sure, you could be in a new outfit and have your hair styled differently but you just admitted that you've come from a get-together with your second-choice pod pick. Needless to say, the internet decided to speak out: 

However, we did notice during the sit-down with Josh that Jackie is not wearing her engagement ring—the one she refused to give back to Marshall—and she is not wearing it while breaking up with Marshall, either. Was this really the same day, as episode 10 suggests?!

Jackie's post-reunion apology

Several days after the Love Is Blind live reunion, Jackie took to Instagram, again, to apologize for her behavior and her language in the leaked messages. Brett and Marshall, 'Love Is Blind' BFFs, make us laugh on Instagram

Brett and Tiffany are undoubtedly the fan-favorite couple this season, despite the fact that she fell asleep in the pods just as Brett was confessing his love. But that wasn't the only LOL-worthy moment between the two: in a very serious discussion about poultry, Brett reveals his preferences to Tiffany: "This is why I usually like dark meat, too." She tries stifling a little chuckle before revealing that, she too, is a fan of dark meat. 

The exchange made its way over to Instagram on Netflix's Love Is Blind fan account, and Brett then decided to add to the commentary: "I mean, I was talking about chicken 😅! I’m team legs and thighs all day," he said, before going into detail about his Popeye's order. 

That's when Love Is Blind castmate Marshall decided to chime in with a quip: "I bet you are team legs and thighs…"

Even Tiffany joined in the fun with a smiling emoji (which gives us hope for a happily-ever-after for the two!) Sadly, Marshall and Jackie had a bitter ending, but here's hoping that he finds what he's looking for in the future. Perhaps his big bro from the pods could be of some assistance? We're convinced Brett would be the ultimate wingman!

On Friday, April 7, Cameron Hamilton took to Instagram to provide fans a glimpse of his meet-up with Brett Brown. "From the pods to Nashville," he captioned a photo of the two enjoying drinks together. Likewise, Brett ventured over to Instagram stories for a selfie with his newfound bestie, captioning the photo: "With the OG @cameronreidhamilton."

It did not take long for the comments and support of this Love Is Blind cast crossover to start rolling in. 

"Real recognizes real!" one Instagram user commented. Another chimed in with: "See this friendship being so mature, reliable, honest and real 👏👏 diggin it. Same energies here."

Although we've encountered plenty of drama throughout the series—most recently thanks to this season's resident mean girls, Micah and Irina—fans seem to appreciate the level of maturity and authentic connections that come with the older contestants. These two grown gents give us hope (while the likes of young Jackie and Marshall make us want to curl up in a ball and cry).

Meet Kwame's sister, Love Is Blind season 4's new favorite face. 

Now that things are winding down, and we're anxiously awaiting the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion, we have one final step: the weddings. Kwame and Chelsea's big day is first up, and we get a sneak peek at what looks to be a stressful occasion...until Kwame's sis Barbara enters the picture.

She's calming, reassuring and supportive—everything you could possibly want from a big sister. Plus, she welcomes Chelsea with open arms and has total faith in her brother's unusual method for finding a partner, even though their mother disagrees. On the big day, Barbara presents Chelsea with a kente cloth purse, representing their Ghana culture.

Sealing the deal, on the way up the aisle, she says to her brother: "You’re going to do great. You’re going to be a good husband...make us proud, okay?” But now, the internet is wondering if this is, in fact, his sister.

The myth about Kwame's sister

Another Love Is Blind conspiracy theory popped up when viewers suggested that the former soccer star hired someone to play his sister, given that they felt the interaction was unnatural. 

"TikTok is saying Kwame hired a random Ghanaian woman to play his sister and tbh that wouldn’t surprise me #LoveIsBlindS4," the tweet read. 

Judging from the response, it appears that this is not something that viewers feel is entirely out of left field, even though it is an outrageous thought. Given that they think Kwame also faked a conversation with his mother about his wedding, viewers have their guards up—and they have their doubts.

"Brought pod friend to suit fitting, we never actually heard his mom talk to him on the phone. Yeah he def hired her," one user chimed in. "SHUT UP! For reals?? Do we have confirmation of this? Because that would make a lot of sense," another added.

While this is likely not true, it definitely got reality TV fans talking. Out of all the contestants this season, Kwame's moves are the ones being scrutinized the most, and we'll admit, he's likely had a lot of misinformation circle the internet as a result. He'll have to set the record straight at the reunion.  

Will Kwame's sister change the direction of the wedding? 

We still don't know what Kwame is going to say at the altar, and he has already expressed that he has cold feet. Things are not feeling terribly promising, regardless of how wonderful Barbara might be. 

Given the fact that Kwame seems to have lingering feelings for Micah and that he's hesitant to make a move from Portland to Seattle to mesh his life with Chelsea's, we are definitely getting stressed. Yes, Barbara might've settled the pre-wedding jitters, but will it be enough to persuade Kwame into saying "yes," something he doesn't seem to want to do?

Reality TV fans all have the same question: who exactly is Olivia Gross?! In a move no one saw coming, Bartise Bowden, Love Is Blind season 3 cast member and Perfect Match late-comer, decided to let us in on a little secret: he and Olivia are parents to a little boy. Cue the gasps!

Since we got a tad bit sidetracked ahead of the Love Is Blind live reunion, which as you know went off disastrously, we were thrown for a loop with this news from season 3's notorious antihero. We have to applaud his timing and ability to completely sidetrack us, though, that's for sure!

In an Instagram post on Friday, April 7, he wrote, "Might’ve been the villain on tv, but I’m gonna be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man ❤️ #bigfella," alongside a slew of photos with his kiddo.

Who did Bartise have a baby with?

The reality star and a woman allegedly named Olivia Gross welcomed a little tyke, Aiden, on December 27, 2022, though her identity has remained somewhat mysterious since the big reveal.

Who is Olivia Gross? Meet Bartise's baby mama

Vanessa and Nick Lachey were hoping for a Love Is Blind baby—she made a plea for a little one during the Love Is Blind season 3 reunion and the season 4 reunion—and it looks like Bartise was listening. But Olivia Gross wasn't on the show, or any Netflix reality dating show, for that matter. 

Little is known about Olivia, but Life & Style broke the news about the mother of Bowden's baby, though Bowden seemingly left out her identity in his big reveal. On Monday, April 3, Bowden filed an open case pertaining to their newborn son, which is how Olivia's identity was tracked down, according to the publication. The 25-year- old allegedly hails from Texas by way of South Dakota. 

According to her TikTok account, Olivia works in hospitality as a waitress and bartender. It's unclear if she and Bartise had a history before their meetup, or if their connection was a one-time thing. What came as a shock is that she revealed on the platform that she didn't realize she was pregnant until she was five months along. Now, she is happily posting clips of her little one's progress. 

One thing that seems a bit puzzling about this timeline is the fact that Bartise was on back-to-back reality shows seemingly while Olivia was pregnant: Bartise and Nancy from Love Is Blind dated in 2021, then in March 2022, when Perfect Match was filmed, Bartise ventured to a villa in Panama City to find love. His little fella came into the world before the end of 2022, and Instagram users quickly commented on the timing. 

"Did I miss a few chapters??" one user commented. Another chimed in with: "The math ain’t mathing."

Are Bartise and Olivia together?

Bartise is keeping his current relationship status quiet, though he did take to Instagram Stories on Easter Sunday 2023 with an interesting photo: sitting on the couch with his dog and a woman's hand on said pup. The woman was unidentified, but people are starting to think that this could possibly be his new partner's hand. Is it Olivia? It is someone else? 

Aside from his initial Instagram announcement—and the quick video that premiered on the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion—Bartise seems to only feel comfortable bringing his baby into the mix, not his potential partner and possibly the mother of his child. Guess we'll just stand by for future announcements or social media slip-ups. 

Did Nancy Rodriguez respond to Bartise's baby announcement?

In a TikTok posted on Sunday, April 9, two days after Bartise's announcement, Nancy—his ex-fiancée— is seen lip-synching to "BO$$ Chick" by Saweetie with the caption: "Minding my business over here…"

A user commented, "LOL I love how this tells so much without saying anything," to which Nancy replied, "Minding mine….🤓"

Between different political views, past relationships not being completely squashed and a lack of sparks, we were not convinced that Bartise and Nancy would be successful on the third season of the reality show. 

When Bartise rejected Nancy at the altar, she was devastated, and her family was enraged. Though Nancy was still in touch with Bartise in Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 3, they've ultimately parted ways since then. Guess he'll have to look elsewhere for a babysitter.

If you ask fans, Jackie's leaked messages catapulted the Love Is Blind season 4 cast member into mean-girl status, right next to Irina and Micah. 

For those who are still catching up, we'll give you a quick update: Jackie was engaged to Marshall and abruptly ended things to pursue Josh, her second-choice match from the pods. The issue? She was seemingly still engaged to Marshall while starting something with someone new. 

Josh had showed up to Chelsea's birthday, while Josh and Jackie were still together, to beg one last time for her heart: "If I walked out of here without telling you how I felt, then what type of man would I be?" Josh told Jackie.

The cringey conversation continued: "If you're going to marry somebody, marry somebody. But if you don't feel like, heart-to-heart, you're going to marry somebody...pick me."

Then, an alleged group chat with Jackie and friends landed on an anonymous Instagram account, appearing to confirm that she had moved on to Josh. Though Jackie did not attend the Love Is Blind live reunion, a pre-recorded interview aired, and she let out her truth. Fans, however, were still skeptical about fact vs. fiction.

Per the findings, Jackie sent a video of her and Josh to friends, captioned with "my baby," to a group chat. "He's hard, but sometimes he can be .. SWEET," she wrote of Josh.

The messages were rather mean-spirited if they in fact are legitimate: they question Marshall's sexuality and belittle him for his sensitivity (which you can see in the TikTok above and below). And yes, Marshall has in fact responded to this leak. 

For her part, Jackie has denied the allegations that she wrote these texts. She also took to Instagram to say that she allegedly met up with Josh after breaking up with Marshall. During the reunion on Sunday, April 16, she said, "It looks like I'm a cheater, and I am not a cheater."

What did Marshall say to Jackie?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jackie noted when her relationship with Marshall started to deteriorate, exposing a new side to their relationship.

"I instantly knew once we came back from Mexico, once we started moving in and stuff, that's when we started to bicker. We were just getting irritated, and there was some conversation that me and him had that wasn't really appropriate, and disrespectful things were said," she revealed. 

But what was this disrespectful remark? Vanessa Lachey probed for answers during the reunion, and she seemed to get a little insight into said disrespectful things.

"You got a strong jawline. I mean, like, you could've been a man for all I know," Marshall told Jackie, and that did not sit right. During the reunion, Marshall admitted that the comment was wrong, said he apologized to his then-fiancée and promised never to say something like that again. There was also an alleged derogatory word tossed around, but we never learn what it is. 

Marshall, however, has implored viewers to move on from pitting the two against each other. "This me versus you thing, it needs to die," he said during the reunion.

Jackie apologizes on Instagram

Several days after the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion, Jackie took to Instagram, again, to apologize for her behavior and the text messages, confirming that they are hers. 

"I would like to start this off by saying I sincerely apologize and take accountability for my actions and words in my relationship between Marshall and I," the post begins. 

It continued, "would also like to apologize and take accountability for my disparaging remarks as well in those leaked messages." 

However, she did thank Marshall for acknowledging that her union with Josh came after their breakup and that they both have made peace with their failed relationship. 

"Marshall and I have personally apologized to each and also took accountability for our actions and have moved on," part of the message read. "I would also like to apologize and take accountability to the public as it was done on the show for everyone to see. Actions speak louder than words."

Are Paul and Micah still together after Love Is Blind season 4?

Though they both love to travel and want to find an unforgettable romance, is this it? If you ask Micah's BFF Shelby, it's a resounding "no."

Do Paul and Micah get married on 'Love is Blind'?

Micah and Paul do not get married in this season of Love Is Blind. In fact, they're the only couple who did not say "I do" on their wedding day. 

In a shocking twist, Micah asks Paul to say his vows first, which is when he revealed that he could not go through with the lifelong commitment—not then, or in 10 years from now, according to his shocking confessional moments after the ceremony. 

As Micah abruptly storms off the altar, the camera pans to Shelby, who's delighted. "This is exactly how I wanted it go," she revealed. AWKWARD!

Are Paul and Micah still together after 'Love is Blind'?

Now that the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion has mostly aired (major tech glitches caused delays) we learn that Paul and Micah are not still together, and she was deeply hurt by the fact that he admitted he could not see her as a mother. 

However, in a twist none of us saw coming, Paul revealed that they did date after their wedding day. However, that romance was as short-lived as their engagement. Shortly after Micah returned to Arizona and Paul followed for a weekend trip, the two called it quits—for good.

Before the reunion, however, Micah threw us for a little bit of a loop with a cryptic TikTok video where she was wearing a ring on that finger. Not an engagement ring, but what appeared to be a wedding ban.

A fan spotted this and commented on the clip, presuming that meant she was married. But the Love is Blind contestant replied, saying: "It’s on my right hand 😌". 

Actually, it was not. She also added, "We aren’t allowed to wear rings whether we got married or not." So, is she breaking some sort of jewelry rule? should this ring have nothing to do with Paul—which it likely does not—does that mean there's someone else in her life? (No details on that front, guys.) 

Micah and Paul's 'Love is Blind' journey

Micah and Paul have been on shaky ground during the majority of Love Is Blind season 4. If you ask fans, they're skeptical of the couple's many differences. If you ask astrologers, they're wary of the pair's astrological birth charts and quincunx aspect, or zodiac signs that are five signs apart. (She's a Pisces and he's a Libra, FYI.)

"If anything, their quincunx aspect can either have a, 'I don't quite get you, but I think I like you' vibe or a 'Where are you coming from?' energy," astrologer Liz Simmons previously told us. "This could either make or break Libra and Pisces since these two signs will have to really work together to meet each other in the middle."

There was also plenty of drama over Micah and Kwame's connection. They got closer in the pods, left with other people but then had inappropriate poolside banter in Mexico, and enjoyed a minute alone at Chelsea's birthday party (quick reminder: Chelsea is Kwame's fiancée) where they have another flirty chat. 

"I think about you. I worry about you. I'm hoping that you're happy," Micah told Kwame. *Face palms*

Overall, we do know that the whole Love is Blind experience was kind of rough for Micah and her reality show BFF Irina, with whom she's been labeled the mean girl of the season. (And let's not forget Irina herself took quite a liking to Paul in Mexico.) Overall, fans of the show are hoping Micah changes her ways more than anything else. 

In an apology in late March 2023, Micah wrote: "I would like to apologize publicly. An emotional immaturity was shown and I will grow from it. To the viewers I've hurt. I'm sorry I've triggered so many of you with my behavior. Seeing that person on the screen would make me feel the same anger."

Needless to say, she was not a happy camper during the reunion.

Considering the Love Is Blind casting took place in Seattle (with extensions to Portland) for its fourth season, we're all wondering how the notorious contestant ends up talking about her place in Scottsdale. Did we miss something here?

While on their honeymoon, Paul and Micah do discuss their love of travel, so we technically shouldn't be too surprised that she splits her time between Scottsdale and Seattle. It's definitely a switch, considering the two cities are a three-and-a-half-hour flight and a 22-hour drive from one another, but since her marketing job is remote, Micah has the ability to bounce back and forth. 

Naturally, the location topic comes up when Micah gets a glimpse of Paul's bachelor pad in Seattle, which she's less than pleased with. Though it's minimal—and oddly includes a pocket knife on all surfaces—it works for Paul...but Micah thinks it'll be a no-go considering all they need are her places in Arizona and Washington, and it's not decorated to her liking. Compromising at its finest! 

You can tell this is a sore subject between the two, but they're not the only ones concerned about geographic sacrifices. Kwame and Chelsea are facing similar hurdles because he's hesitant about leaving his bachelor pad and soccer team in Portland for a full-time life in Seattle with Chelsea (and no, she does not work remotely). 

How will distance factor into these two couples' fate? Will they be torn apart, or merge their lives together? Now that we're well acquainted with the Love Is Blind season 4 couples, none of them have us cheering quite like Brett and Tiffany. Not only is their chemistry off the charts, but they're both kind and understanding with one another. They seem truly invested in their future together.

Considering all of the drama we've experienced romance-wise this season—Jackie and Josh's get-together, Kwame's crush on Micah (a.k.a. a woman who is not his fiancée), we're pleased to see that one pair is truly in it for the long haul. Even though Tiffany fell asleep in the pods on one of their initial dates, it's been smooth sailing—and then some!—ever since.

There are a few dinners where Brett and Tiffany introduce one another to their families and friends. Throughout each, we've cried happy tears because of Brett's honesty and vulnerability. 

"I'm really seeing a future with you and so many things that I guess I've been afraid of—that I wasn't even aware I had been afraid of—until you came and I got to know you," he said to Tiffany while dining with loved ones. 

2. When he made a good impression with her friends

Micah's BFF Shelby might not have been terribly pleased with Paul, but Tiffany's friends express nothing but approval of her relationship with Brett relationship. Honestly, if you were a stranger spying on their dinner, you would've thought he had known Tiffany and her squad for years. 

3. When he was protective over Marshall

Naturally, drama was about to ensue when Jackie decided to meet up with Josh instead of attending her wedding dress fitting. Brett, a kind big-brother figure, pulls Marshall aside to tell him what's going on and support him. Even though part of the outing is about his big day, too, he unselfishly puts aside his own needs for a friend.

While Marshall was being fitted for his wedding tux, Josh and Jackie, Love Is Blind's second-choice couple, decided to give their failed romance another try. The problem? Jackie was seemingly still engaged to Marshall when she came to this decision, which she later denied. 

"Marshall is too sensitive for me, basically," she confessed to Josh over coffee. "When I told him to be more aggressive and boss up, he left for like three days."

When Josh asked how Jackie would think Marshall would feel about their impromptu get-together, she quickly replied, "I don't care." After some back and forth, they ultimately decided to pursue their love and sealed the deal with a kiss. We were floored. But where do Josh and Jackie stand now? 

 Where do Josh and Jackie, 'Love Is Blind's' second-chance couple, stand today?

We just caught up with everyone in Love Is Blind: After the Altar season 4, where we witness Jackie and Josh getting an apartment together, and we get a glimpse of them moving their belongings into their new place in Seattle. We also noticed a sit-down between the two...and Josh's ex-fiancée from the pods, Monica Rodriguez. It was the most dramatic part of the special. But since the catch-up aired, things have changed between the two. Jackie took to Instagram Stories to reveal that they called it quits two weeks after filming After the Altar...all because of that interaction.

“[I’m] still sick about it low-key. I love that man,” she said in the clip. “I was like, 'Damn, I had all these life plans with you, you know? And then you just don’t even care,' and I’m like, that’s crazy, over a conversation with somebody? — It don’t matter."

Jackie also had a conversation with her ex, Marshall, during After the Altar, which seemingly was fine with Josh. The former couple decided to make things right with one another after the flag football game with everyone from the season. They hugged it out and decided to move forward, plus Marshall is dating another woman named Chay, a nurse practitioner.

“The breakup was obviously so messy, and I apologize for that,” Jackie told Marshall. “I should’ve been more open. I should’ve been more nurturing. I just haven’t gotten there yet.”

In the massively delayed live Love Is Blind season 4 reunion back in April 2023, Jackie and Josh revealed that they were still going strong, living together, and acting as dog (and fish) parents. Although they didn't appear at the reunion itself, Netflix presented a two-minute interview clip of the two with Vanessa Lachey.

What did surprise us, however, were some of the accusations Jackie made about her former flame, Marshall, during the spring reunion. Jackie responds to 'Love Is Blind' editing

In early April, a week before the reunion took place, Jackie took to Instagram, alleging that she met up with Josh after she had called it quits with Marshall, suggesting that Netflix had messed with the timeline to make it appear as if she was cheating. 

On the reunion, she clarified an issue she had with the timeframe that viewers witnessed during the fourth season: "It looks like I'm a cheater, and I am not a cheater," she said. 

As for Jackie and Marshall, the two certainly had beef in the past but are moving forward. And Jackie’s leaked texts about Marshall that caused commotion earlier this year were finally put to rest after the reunion.

"It was tasteless and disrespectful to speak about anyone that way. It was never a battle between Marshall and I," Jackie wrote. "I am thankful that Vanessa Lachey allowed me to speak my peace and take accountability for my actions."

Although the last episode of the season hit Netflix on Friday, April 14, we still have to wait for the LIVE Love Is Blind season 4 reunion on Sunday, April 16 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on the streaming service. That will be the final confirmation, but in the meantime, here's how the nuptials wrapped up.

1. Chelsea and Kwame

Fans were suspicious about Kwame and Chelsea.

Although she was 100% sold, Kwame needed a little extra convincing. First thing's first, he was not entirely over Micah, his other connection in the pods, and he had reservations about uprooting himself from Portland to Seattle to live with Chelsea. 

There were major red flags, but on the big day itself, Kwame's sister seemed to help with the wedding jitters. Ultimately, the two said "I do," and judging from his Instagram post on Friday, April 14, the newlyweds have been living together blissfully ever since. 

"Just a quick response to anyone saying “they have no chemistry”, or “they don’t even love each other”.. based on what you saw, I don’t blame you for thinking that," Kwame wrote on Instagram. "But actually, we had the MOST fun together falling in love!" 

2. Jackie and Marshall

We left Jackie and Marshall on shaky terms early on in the season, and things only got worse from there. 

Considering Jackie and Josh, her other match from the pods, were spotted at a Seattle Mariners game on Monday, April 3, 2023, we had a feeling things wouldn't play out well between her and Marshall. Our assumptions were correct: when the ladies were wedding dress shopping, Jackie ditched the appointment to met up with Josh—they even kissed!

After her coffee date with Josh, she returned home to break the news to Marshall and didn't seem terribly affected by his feelings. "Marshall, I can't love you because I'm attracted to Josh," she confessed. Plus, when Marshall asked for her ring back, she refused.

But IRL, Jackie insisted that the editors jumbled the timeline and she had broken up with Marshall before grabbing a cup of Joe with Josh. Fans definitely did not buy Jackie's Instagram explanation, but they did seem convinced Jackie's alleged text messages addressing her relationship status (and partner switch) were authentic. 

3. Micah and Paul

Despite being seemingly an opposites-attract situation—and the fact that Micha's BFFs Irina and Shelby aren't thrilled with the pairing—Micah and Paul have trudged on. But many viewers were not rooting for her success after her disastrous behavior in the dating quarters. And, let's not forget about Micah's Arizona home, something that Paul's not 100% sold on: will they really be able to split the time between Scottsdale and Seattle like she hopes?

Well, splitting their time is not something they have to worry about. Ultimately, Paul cannot commit to Micah, and he storms off the altar while in tears while he is still speaking. Oddly enough, her friend Shelby is thrilled the union did not work out. The camera pans in on her while she's all smiles and Micah's crying. 

4. Zack and Bliss

Zack and Bliss were involved in the season's biggest love triangle—and perhaps the series' biggest love triangle—yet somehow they managed to make it work, even though she seemed to be the second choice after Zack's disastrous attempt at love with Irina. 

"I'm engaged to Zack," Bliss says in a confessional. "Life is weird. It's exciting and shocking. I feel so cheesy saying this, but I knew that he was my person from just hearing him—our first date."

Will things remain blissful? Her father is not terribly convinced, but on their big day, they both say "I do." On April 14, Zack took to Instagram to share a pic with his lady and captioned it, "Eternal Bliss."

5. Tiffany and Brett

Brett and Tiffany have captured our hearts from the moment she fell asleep in the pods. That has literally been their biggest issue this season, and it seems like the show's entire fanbase is rooting for these two. If there isn't an "I do" we'd be shocked and, quite frankly, devastated. But our suspicions were correct: these two make it! (*Happy tears*!)

We're beginning to get seriously worried for Kwame and Chelsea (not that we weren't already). 

While she's ready for marriage, Kwame is thinking of every reason under the sun why their lives won't mesh well together. Plus, he still seems a little too attached to Micah. And lastly, he doesn't have his mother's approval to move forward with the marriage, as evidenced by the "phone call" to his family matriarch. 

However, many viewers sensed that he actually faked said call in hopes to get out of his engagement, and truthfully, we can see this being a reality. 

2. Rocky knows all

Kwame doesn't want to leave Portland for Seattle, and he's dishing out a lot of reasons why his relationship with Chelsea isn't going to pan out. Her pup and right-pawed man, Rocky, isn't falling for any of Kwame's shenanigans.

3. Shelby = Irina

Just when we thought Micah couldn't possibly find a companion worse than her wing-woman Irina, she introduces her fiancé Paul (and in turn viewers) to her poorly-behaved friend Shelby, who is vehemently against Micah's fiancé for no reason. It's essentially Irina 2.0, with a few Peach/Beck vibes mixed in.

4. Lauren and Cameron should host

When you think of the Love Is Blind franchise, what beautiful couple comes to mind? Lauren and Cameron have shown us the way, and as the series' most famous success story, fans think perhaps it's time they take the reins from the Lacheys.

5. Age is not just a number

We're all in a race to find the one ASAP, but isn't it interesting that the most authentic and stable couple on the show happens to be in their mid-30s compared to the 20-somethings? Brett and Tiffany, we're all looking at you!

6. The hair makes the man

Season 4's Kwame and season 3's Bartise have both gotten under viewers' skin like no other for their bad behavior, and some suggest their similar hairstyle is to blame.

The show was filmed last year, but if you fast-forward to the start of the 2023 baseball season, we get a pretty good indication of Jackie's current love life.

To get the ball rolling, head over to loveisblind.castingcrane.com, but be prepared to be on the site for a while: there are 70+ questions to answer. From the basics such as contact information to more unorthodox questions—"Why do you need Love Is Blind in your life now?" and "What is something you would be hesitant to share in the pods?"—you'll definitely have to do some thinking. 

You'll also want to prepare to be creative: you'll be asked to upload a 15-second-long video describing why you're a perfect fit for the series. Think of it as your introduction to reality TV—you're definitely going to be filming confessionals at some point if you get the green light!

Romance doesn't get more disastrous than it did for Irina and Zack, Love Is Blind season 4's most problematic couple.

From the get-go, we saw red flags for Irina Solomonova and Zack Goytowski. At the start of the season, the 26-year-old event planner was quickly labeled as this year's "mean girl," laughing at other daters' expenses and needling Bliss Poureetezadi, Zack's other match, whom he eventually dumped in favor of Irina. 

Given the way she behaved with fellow contestants—minus her partner in pettiness, Micah Lussier—it came as no surprise that Irina's courtship with Zack would be difficult to watch. It's immediately clear that she's not attracted to him—referring to him as a "cartoon character" didn't seem to help—and she thwarts all of his advances: hugs, kisses, and so forth.

While the other couples seemed to enjoy their Mexican honeymoon (while, yes, working out some kinks here and there), Irina was closed off immediately. "You got the worst part [of me]," Irina admitted to Zack. "I'm literally treating you so poorly. Like, I know it. I won't even look at you, touch you. You talk to me and I literally look away."

To viewers' delight, the 31-year-old criminal defense attorney ended things with Irina, and yes, there was justice for Bliss, as Zack and Bliss rekindled their romance. Though she proceeded cautiously, and understandably so, she eventually accepted Zack's proposal. 

Obviously, we're anxious to see what they say at the altar—and what transpires during the *live* Love Is Blind season 4 reunion—but we can't help but wonder if Zack and Irina are on good terms...or any terms at all? Here's what we know?

Where do Irina and Zack, 'Love Is Blind's' disastrous exes, stand?

In an interview with TODAY on Friday, March 24, Zack revealed that he hasn't kept in touch with his ex. 

"I have not talked to Irina since Mexico. She sent me text messages, but I honestly never responded to any of them," he revealed to the outlet. 

In the same TODAY interview, Irina claimed it wasn't Zack's looks that deterred her, but just a feeling that something was off. (People were not buying it.) 

"I will always trust my gut. And my gut just—he didn't do anything to make me not feel safe, but there was something in me that just felt like, 'This isn't right," she said.

As the season progressed, Zack further revealed in an interview with The Tab that he's forgiven his former fiancée. 

"I've forgiven her for what happened. She knows what she did. And she's definitely dealing with an amplified backlash from it," he said. 

For her part, on Sunday, April 2, Irina issued a public apology on Instagram for the way in which she treated those she met on the Netflix experiment.

"Even Zack, he was so vulnerable with me and I so mistreated him and shut him out. And I hope that one day I get to share my experience and what was going on with me emotionally during that experience," she said.

When the Seattle singles ventured to the dating quarters, Irina and Micah quickly earned a mean-girl reputation amongst their peers and viewers. And Micah, who has a self-described "open heart with girlfriends," has found it in her heart to look past the mistake and carry on a friendship with Irina. 

"I think she made a mistake. I think she owned up to her mistake and I think that's all you can really ask for," Micah told the outlet. "I think we've both grown a lot together and hopefully we'll continue to grow a lot in the future."

Well, we're glad that they managed to look past this somewhat inconvenient predicament, but honestly, given the way everything has unfolded this season, these two have plenty more to worry about than their friendship. But that's just our two cents!

We’re preparing to catch up with Love Is Blind season 4 couples when After the Altar hits Netflix on Friday, September 1. However, this post-wedding catch-up managed to include everyone from the pods, including Irina and Micah…and even Micah’s BFF Shelby, who wasn’t even a contestant on the show. 

The three musketeers, who were called out for their bad behavior, are still close to one another, as they’re seen getting together at a farmer’s market in After the Altar, a moment where Micah seems to be rethinking ending her relationship with Paul. Even when the group comes together for a flag football game, Micah and Irina are there to join the fun. 

Even though the two were able to move forward with their friendships, they had a lot to make right; Irina caught up with Amber, who was at the brunt of her joke when Paul broke up with her in favor of Micah, to apologize. Meanwhile, Micah and Paul made peace (sort of) with one another and decided to go in separate directions.

We're now halfway through Love is Blind season 4, and one love triangle has already rocked the entire show. In a series first, Zack and Bliss get engaged shortly after he breaks things off with Irina. Now, we're starting to wonder if Jackie will follow suit. 

She and Marshall are one of the Love Is Blind season 4 couples who started out on a strong note and slowly started growing apart. During the honeymoon, she became worried about juggling a romantic relationship with all of her family responsibilities. (It was later revealed on social media that her father is suffering from cancer.) Then, once the duo embarked on real life, things got rocky.

Very shadily, Josh assured Marshall that all was good between the two of them, though they had previously fought over Jackie in the pods. Spoiler alert: things were not alright. Josh took a minute to corner Jackie solo and let her know that the option still stood for the two of them to get together. 

"If I walked out of here without telling you how I felt, then what type of man would I be?" he asked Jackie.

The conversation ended with a plea: "If you're going to marry somebody, marry somebody. But if you don't feel like, heart-to-heart, you're going to marry somebody...pick me."

To make matters worse, even Marshall feels as though their relationship is on the outs. 

"In this moment, this whole relationship with Jackie is very bleak," he said in the episode. "The other night, she says that I needed to boss up. The way that she made me feel in that moment when she said that I wasn't a man, that I wasn't doing grown-man stuff, that hurts."

By the end of the second batch of episodes, Jackie certainly seems torn, and fans began to lose hope that there was any room for survival for her and Marshall's romance. But of course, Love Is Blind left us on a cliffhanger, so we won't know what happens with these two until the next batch of episodes hit Netflix on Friday, April 7. There might be a reconciliation—there's an apology and a hug between the two—but how convincing was Josh?  

Jackie's TikTok appearance

If you haven't checked your FYP in some time, you might've missed Jackie out and about at the Seattle Mariners game on April 3, 2023. But what's getting all the attention is the fact that she wasn't there alone—Josh was in tow. So much for not having any spoilers!

The two were spotted in the stands, moving about and the video was captioned, "Love Is Blind in da house." Given that it's been some time since Love Is Blind was filmed, we have to assume that means Jackie and Josh have been together ever since things wrapped. Could they be attending the game platonically? Doubtful. 

Neither Josh or Jackie has commented on their TikTok appearance, but something tells us this pair from the pods is still going strong. 

We're definitely curious what's next for Jackie—and the rest of the crew, if we're being honest. Things might not be peachy keen between everyone, but we'll soon find out where they stand during the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion on Sunday April 16 at 8pm—the fist live reunion in the series' history.

How much do the 'Love Is Blind' contestants get paid?

According to multiple sources, Love Is Blind contestants are paid $1,000 per week, which can equate to $8,000 for those lucky pairs who make it to the altar. (Considering there aren't many Love Is Blind couples still together, perhaps they should award the victorious pairs some type of bonus!) 

In 2022, Love Is Blind season 2 cast member Jeremy Hartwell took the time to crunch some numbers and uncovered that this might not be the salary prospective cast members were expecting, thus he decided to file a lawsuit. 

“Resultantly, these workers were effectively [paid] as little $7.14 per hour…less than one-third of the minimum overtime rate of $22.50 per hour, and less than one-fourth of the minimum double-time rate of $30.00 per hour pursuant to the applicable Los Angeles City and County minimum wage ordinances,” the document read, according to US Weekly. 

Who pays for the engagement rings on 'Love Is Blind'?

When it comes to the jewels that contestants use to profess their love to each other, the Love Is Blind engagement rings are paid for by Netflix.

"If they want to propose and want to have a ring to give, we provide—up to a certain level—a ring for them to do that with," show creator Chris Coelen told Variety. "If they choose to do that, we actually give choices. There are, like, 10 or 12 different styles and colors. It’s up to them, they don’t have to. There’s no pressure to do that."

Who pays for the honeymoon, apartments and weddings on 'Love Is Blind'?

Netflix also shells out the dough for the couples' getaways, apartments and weddings. However, multiple sources indicate that the expenses for the big day include a venue, catering and music—anything extra needs to be supplied by the couples themselves and, given that a lot of them are on the fence about saying "I do" already, splurging is probably not recommended.

It's still too soon to tell where the Love Is Blind season 4 couples will end up by the season finale, but we're rooting that everyone gets their money's worth with an "I do"!

Since we haven't had enough drama, Josh, Love Is Blind season 4's new villain, has decided to make a grand return. 

Now that Zack and Bliss are making a go for it and Irina has disappeared, it seemed like things were a little less rocky in this second batch of episodes, which premiered on Netflix on Friday, March 31. Sure, Micah and Paul weren't quite finding similarities and Jackie had some reservations about Marshall, but overall, the drama wasn't outrageous...for the moment. 

That's when Kwame and Chelsea threw a celebration in honor of her birthday and Josh, a season 4 Love Is Blind cast member who left solo, returned to shake things up. While in the pods, he and Marshall both set their sights on Jackie and ultimately had a few words. Now, Josh is intent on returning for a pod get-together to win Jackie back. Will it work? Here's what we know so far. 

Will Josh, 'Love Is Blind' pot-stirrer, steal Jackie from Marshall?

Things are already on rocky terrain for Marshall and Jackie. While in Mexico, Jackie cried over the fear of not being able to pursue a relationship while taking care of the family matters she was responsible for managing. Marshall assured her that he'd help with whatever she needed. 

Then, the two ventured back to Seattle for a taste of real life, and it seemed that Jackie wasn't necessarily pleased with Marshall's reserved personality. She had definitely started contemplating whether or not she had made the right decision, and the two had a bit of an altercation, so much so that they both showed up to Chelsea's get-together solo. While there, they were cordial with each other but not affectionate, and everyone could sense it. 

That's when an overly giddy—and perhaps slightly intoxicated—Josh decided to make his move. In an unexpected bromance moment, he told Marshall that it's okay that he and Jackie are pursuing a future and that it wouldn't come between their "friendship" (which doesn't actually exist). 

"I understand Jackie made her decision. We both have loved the same person. We went through some sh*t," said Josh. "I love you, bro, for real. For real, for real. Don't let this change us."

Several minutes later, Josh broke up a chit-chat between Jackie, Micah and Bliss to get a word with his love interest alone. He had insisted that things were copacetic between him and Marshall, but then Josh literally put the idea in Jackie's head that he was open to taking her back if she decided to split from Marshall.

"If I walked out of here without telling you how I felt, then what type of man would I be?" he told her. 

The cringey conversation continued: "If you're going to marry somebody, marry somebody. But if you don't feel like, heart-to-heart, you're going to marry somebody...pick me."

It was undeniable that Jackie looked torn. Is she going to take Josh up on his offer, or will she work things out with Marshall? We must give the season 4 cast credit—they're going where no other pod squads have gone before, that's for sure!

Love Is Blind season 4 is officially over, but are Tiffany and Brett still together following the end of the show?

We were emotionally invested in these two from the get-go. Something about them is completely effortless—not only are they physically attracted to one another, they also share similar values and look as if they're each other's best friends. Plus, neither of them have said anything problematic to one another (that we've seen)! Dare we say that they have the potential to become the next Lauren and Cameron?

Now that most of us (UK; it'll be live at 8pm on April 17!) can finally watch the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion (we've all been dying for an update following *those* frustrating technically issues over at Netflix), here's what we know about Tiffany and Brett's current relationship status a few months out from filming...

Are Brett and Tiffany still together after the show?

Brettany fans (do we like that?), we have great news—Brett and Tiffany are very much still together after Love Is Blind! 

The two said 'I do' and proceeded to have what we're calling the best LIB wedding of the season (we wish we could've hit that dance floor!) but the question when the show ends is always the same—did their marriage survive the test of time? 

Cast members are instructed to not post anything that will give their happy or not-so-happy ending away, so we had to wait until the reunion to properly find out how Tiffany and Brett were doing (despite fans spotting positive hints over on Instagram!)

And the reunion confirmed that the pair are still very much in love, with the couple admitting to hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey that they have been happily navigating married life since the show ended.

Tiffany admitted during the reunion though that their biggest adjustment as husband and wife so far has been her move from Seattle, Washington, to Portland, Oregon, where Brett is based.

She confessed, "I would say the biggest hurdle for me was just trying to figure out how I was going to live in a different city. I had set up my life so perfectly in Seattle, but he could not move to Seattle.

"He had a great job, or has a great job. He had to be on campus. I had the luxury of working remotely, so it just made sense for me to move down here. So our biggest hurdle, or at least for me, has been, 'Okay, how do I establish my life down here?'"

Brett and Tiffany's 'Love is Blind' journey

While other Love Is Blind season 4 couples were still working out a few kinks and then some, Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown appeared to have been together for years during the show, even though they got engaged 'sight-unseen' after less than two weeks. Truthfully, we were kind of baffled by how well things are going. (Love Is Blind is not scripted, but these two seem like a couple straight out of a rom-com.) 

With so much drama completely overshadowing the whole point of the series—yes Irina and Micah, that's all on you—Brett and Tiff offered a refreshing break. Just when you thought the bizarre experiment couldn't possibly lead to anything but disaster, which more often than not it does, these two hopeful romantics showed up out of the woodwork and completely shocked us all.

Brett quickly became the most beloved fella of the season thanks to his vulnerability, maturity and kindness not only towards Tiffany, but his cohorts in the pods (he's the one to support Marshall when he learns Jackie didn't show up to her wedding dress fitting). 

In case you aren't aware, the internet has swooned countless times over Brett's behavior, and we have the all proof. Plus, with declarations like the one below, we already had a really hard time believing that these two might have decided to call it quits after the show.

"I'm really seeing a future with you and so many things that I guess I've been afraid of—that I wasn't even aware I had been afraid of—until you came and I got to know you," he said to Tiffany while dining with loved ones. (What'd we tell ya about the swooning?)

Though the sales development manager and former soccer star might be recognized from other career pursuits, we certainly didn't see him tied to this reality dating show. 

Was Kwame from 'Love Is Blind' on this famous series?

On Thursday, March 30, one Twitter user took to the platform to zoom in on what appears to be a Kwame cameo on Married At First Sight season 10. When he does a close-up of the crowd applauding a happy bride and groom, it appears that Kwame is one of the people joining in the wedding celebration. 

Could it be...or is this a doppelgänger? On IMDB, Kwame's only given "performance" credit is Love Is Blind, so this could technically go either way. Have a look at the clip below and decide for yourself!

Kwame and Chelsea 'Love Is Blind': where are they now?

Kwame and Chelsea, Love Is Blind's newly engaged couple, found themselves in a bit of a love triangle à la Zack, Irina and Bliss. Though he initially intends to propose to Micah early, Kwame ultimately proposes to Chelsea, and fans erupted with anger when he and Micah had a more-than-friendly connection upon meeting in real life. 

Is Kwame ready to give things a go with Chelsea if he doesn't have closure from his breakup with Micah? He and Chelsea are about to embark on "real life" together, and fans are hoping for her sake that things work out well. Should they decide to pursue other options, perhaps someone should tell Kwame that we're crossing our fingers for Perfect Match season 2.

Irina Solomonova only hit our screens two weeks ago, yet she's already caused an internet firestorm. 

The Love Is Blind season 4 cast member joined the Netflix experiment with the hopes of forming an authentic connection beyond appearances, a notion she dispelled upon connecting with Zack Goytowski. But her behavior within the dating quarters is what's really garnering viral attention. 

She and Micah Lussier have quickly been labeled the mean girls of the season on social media, and it all kind of takes away from the primary purpose of the show: romance. While temporarily living alongside the other women, the two laugh at another cast member's heartbreak (the same person competing for Paul Peden's attention as Micah). Then, Irina needles Bliss Poureetezadi, Zack's other connection, to get under her skin and drive a wedge between her rival and her connection.

Naturally, things don't unfold smoothly with Zack, either. Ultimately, it's clear she's not attracted to him, as she refuses to hug him or kiss him. Plus, she insists he looks like a cartoon character, probably not what he hoped to hear. On their honeymoon, she pretended he didn't even exist.  

"You got the worst part [of me]," Irina admitted to Zack. "I'm literally treating you so poorly. Like, I know it. I won't even look at you, touch you. You talk to me and I literally look away."

And the cherry on top of the bad behavior comes when Irina gets a little handsy with her new love interest, Paul...who just so happens to be engaged to her "best friend" Micah. It's utterly messy and heartbreaking, yet we can't look away...and we can't stop expressing our frustrations on Twitter.

Why is Irina's bad behavior so addicting to watch?

As much as fans hate how she's behaving, Irina has a firm grasp on them, and you better believe everyone's tuning in to see what happens next. Something about her catty behavior has given us all middle school flashbacks to the cliques that made our lives a living hell. 

"TV shows with heavy amounts of drama often tap into universal human emotions and experiences [and] many of these shows are crafted with a deep understanding of human psychology," says positive psychology coach Elle Mace. "Viewers often become emotionally invested in the characters and their storylines, which can lead to a sense of empathy."

We've all been deeply triggered, whether we've had an Irina or been an Irina at some point in our lives. Despite the negativity that tags bullying, Mace insists that showcasing such behavior can have its positives.  

"While it may be uncomfortable or even distressing to witness, the portrayal of female bullying in media can raise awareness of the issue and prompt discussions about how to address it," she says. 

Perhaps this is one way to keep us mindful of our own behaviors and hold ourselves accountable.

What's going on between Irina and Zack now?

According to an interview with  TODAY on March 24, Zack has alleged that Irina reached out to him, but he disregarded her texts. Two weeks later, as the season continues to unfold, he revealed in an interview with The Tab that he's forgiven her. 

Despite her bad behavior and all signs pointing to the lack of physical attraction, Irina insisted in the same TODAY interview that she just knew something was off between the two. 

"I will always trust my gut. And my gut just—he didn't do anything to make me not feel safe, but there was something in me that just felt like, 'This isn't right," she told the outlet.

Shortly after Micah took to Instagram to issue an apology, Irina followed suit, and it did not go well, as evidenced by the comments section. 

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them. You showed us plenty in LIB: lots of bullying, mean girl behavior, and straight up cruelty," one Instagram user commented. 

Another added, "What? Sorry..I only heard “I’m posting this so I don’t get fully cancelled and this is all about me."

Kwame and Chelsea, Love Is Blind season 4 couple, had fans on the fence. 

When Love Is Blind was filmed, the two formed a solid and comfortable rapport in the pods. But was it a little too comfortable? Was the spark there, or did the former soccer star simply pursue his second-choice match?

Chelsea was enthusiastic and level-headed throughout the experience but while fans are rooting for her à la Tiffany and Brett, some seem to think that Kwame is not quite as devoted. Here's what's going on with the couple.

Are Kwame and Chelsea still together after 'Love is Blind'?

As we learned during the massively delayed live Love Is Blind season 4 reunion on Sunday, April 16, Chelsea and Kwame are happily married, living in a gorgeous apartment with panoramic views of Seattle and waiting to start a family when the time seems right. 

After the wedding episode finally dropped on Friday, April 14, Kwame shared a series of candid pictures and videos of the couple, taken when the cameras were not around, saying that they "had the MOST fun together falling in love!" but understands where fans' skepticism comes into play.

From the beginning, this was one Love Is Blind season 4 couple that we struggled to really assess: Chelsea was 100% in it, but it seems that Kwame was holding back somehow, though he does seem to care for her. 

The problem comes with his failed relationship with fellow Love is Blind season 4 cast member Micah. (Surprised?) The widely-regarded mean girl of the season sank her claws into Kwame and threw us all for a 180 when she decided to match with Paul instead. After a rather hurtful rejection—one that did not seem to trouble her much—the two finally meet face-to-face in Mexico with the other pairs, and let's just say things got off to a rocky start.

While the group decides to take shots, Micah selfishly suggests they toast to their failed proposal, as Kwame had originally prepared to propose to Micah early. This jab did not sit well with him, but when the two convened for a heart-to-heart, things got...flirty. 

Needless to say, the internet was not pleased with their touchy-feely behavior. Chelsea quietly left the get-together early and confronted Kwame about his feelings later on. We applaud this class act! Though there still seemed to be lingering feelings and "what ifs", Chelsea and Kwame decided to venture back home as one.

And it seems like the two troublemakers didn't learn their lesson. At Chelsea's birthday party—let's say that one more time for emphasis: Chelsea's birthday party—Kwame and Mica had another sit-down that was a little too close for comfort. Plus, Kwame's hesitant about leaving his bachelor pad and soccer team in Portland for a full-time life in Seattle with Chelsea. Overall, these details are not terribly convincing.

Then we have the Love Is Blind tweets and conspiracy theories: some believed Kwame was faking his strained relationship with his mother to get out of going through with the wedding. Then, people suspected that Kwame's sister, Barbara—a.k.a the one who stole the show—was a paid actor. 

Luckily, these suspicions were incorrect and the two newlyweds are happily enjoying the start of their journey together. Chelsea even revealed that the issues with Micah are squashed. 

"Micah and I had a resolution. I believe that she's grown," she told Nick and Vanessa Lachey during the "live" reunion.

And, yes, she's met Mama Appiah at Thanksgiving was immediately welcomed into the family: "It was a wonderful first visit, I felt like 'I'm home.'"

All eyes are on Irina and Micah, Love Is Blind's resident bullies. 

The partners in crime have quickly made a name for themselves on Love Is Blind season 4 for their mean-spirited antics. Heck, with the two of them in the picture, we practically forgot about Brett and Tiffany's chemistry, Zack and Bliss' second chance, and so on. The show quickly became a reality TV version of Mean Girls!

Throughout the first batch of Love Is Blind episodes, we witness Micah Lussier and Irina Solomonova laugh at other daters' expense, Micah nastily reject Kwame and then proceed to flirt with him in front of his fiancée Chelsea when everyone eventually meets face to face. (Oh, and that's while she's engaged to Paul.) 

Micah, 'Love Is Blind' villainess, issues an apology 

According to one Twitter user, the internet is "cooking" the two right now, and it shows. In response to the negativity, Micah has spoken out. In an interview with BuzzFeed, she reflected on experiencing the journey side-by-side with Irina. 

"I think having her took a very serious experience and helped me take a laugh to it," she told the outlet. 

She later added, "Maybe people watching that might be like, 'Oh, you don't care, you're not taking things seriously.' It's actually quite the opposite, it's how I get through things — being funny."

We're not entirely sure how laughing at others' heartbreak is humorous, but perhaps we have different tastes in comedy.

Micah took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 to issue a public apology for her behavior on this season of Love Is Blind. The statement reads:

"A small note..

"I have apologized privately to the people that were hurt on the show by my hands. I would like to apologize publicly. An emotional immaturity was shown and I will grow from it. 

To the viewers I've hurt. I'm sorry I've triggered so many of you with my behavior. Seeing that person on the screen would make me feel the same anger.

"As to my comments being off: I will turn them on in time. I am doing my best to protect my mental health (deserved or not). It has always been something I've struggled with, and I know I can not better myself if I'm more unwell mentally. I hope you understand that I am taking accountability privately. 

I promise to do better in the future."

Will her apology be enough to change fans' minds, especially considering we have plenty more drama waiting for us this season? How did her co-stars respond? Time will tell, but we're fairly certain this is going to be one heck of a reunion!

Even though both women earned the mean-girl badge of dishonor, did they keep a friendship going, especially after Irina took an interest in Micah's finance? 

"I think she made a mistake. I think she owned up to her mistake and I think that's all you can really ask for," Micah told Entertainment Weekly. "I think we've both grown a lot together and hopefully we'll continue to grow a lot in the future."

So yes, to some extent it looks like Micah and Irina are still friends.
