When does 'Bel-Air' premiere?
The Fresh Prince reboot will air on Peacock on Sunday, February 13.
What is 'Bel-Air' about?
The Peacock original series is based on the 2019 viral mock trailer (opens in new tab) by Morgan Cooper, creating a modern-day version of West Philly's finest, Will Smith, as he starts his new life in Beverly Hills, California.
Like the original 1990s sitcom, the story follows a teenage Will (played by Jabari Banks), who was sent to live with his Uncle Phil and Auntie Viv in Beverly Hills after... a couple of guys, who were up to no good, started making trouble in his neighborhood. You know rest.

Meet the 'Bel-Air' cast: who's who?
Along with the aforementioned Jabari Banks, the rest of the cast is made up of Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as the Banks' family butler Geoffrey, and Simone Joy Jones as Will’s love interest Lisa (originally played by Nia Long in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).
As for the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith—yes, the real-life one—is on board as an executive producer of the Peacock series.
