It is a truth universally acknowledged that if you love beauty, you own at least one MAC lipstick (or 10). Everybody has their favorite go-to shade – but can you guess which one is the most popular shade in the whole wide world?

Thankfully, you don’t have to, because Lookfantastic has just done a deep dive into the most popular MAC Lipstick shades, and it makes for very interesting reading.

This is of course the brand behind the lipstick that Jennifer Aniston wore as Rachel Green while filming Friends, which you can still buy all these years later.

The list features some of the most recognizable shades of all time across pinks, beiges, browns and reds. Surprisingly, though, some iconic shades such as Ruby Woo and Lady Danger don't make the top 10. Can you believe?

The top spot was unsurprisingly cinched by a shade popularized by the Kardashian Jenner clan, MAC Velvet Teddy. According to the e-tailer, this lipstick is not only the most popular MAC Lipstick shade, it’s also the world's favourite beauty product overall. That’s no mean feat!

Keep reading for the top 10 list in full. How many of these can you guess correctly?
