We're taking this Rosalía sweater vest outfit from Milan Fashion Week all the way to the bank, as she's delivered a masterclass in how to style the 'Quiet Luxury' staple with the rest of our fall capsule wardrobe.

In case you haven't yet seen the absolute style serve, the BESO singer wore a classic, grey V-neck knit over a white shirt and paired them with a matching grey slip skirt, black sunnies and some chic, pointed heels, as she sat next to Kylie Jenner at the Prada show. All in all, the ensemble just oozes sophistication but it's the sweater vest that really stole the show.

The best alternatives for Rosalía's sweater vest

While sweater vests sometimes get a bad rap for being grandad-ish, we're glad they're finally getting the love they deserve—especially from Rosalía. 

As mentioned, she stepped out wearing a very timeless fit, centered around a grey marl knit vest, which she coordinated with a maxi skirt and headband (we love to see the '00s headband making a comeback), before completing the look with a black handbag, sunglasses and heels. This fit is perfect for a sophisticated day look and belongs in your work capsule wardrobe.

For a more casual look, you can also pair your vest with a white t-shirt or long sleeve, or alternatively swap out the skirt for a pair of jeans of wide-leg pants. Vests are basically the perfect staple for fall because of their layering potential—besides wearing them over tees and shirts, you can also wear them under coats and jackets.
