We're calling it—ruffles are officially *in* for summer

Rosalía's Coachella outfit is giving us major inspo for our summer capsule wardrobes, so here's how to channel her ethereal, festival look in your everyday rotation.

For anyone who missed it, Rosalía took to the Coachella stage in a pair of leather pants, with a matching top and a custom-made Acne Studios long, baby pink ruffled blouse over the top. Sheer dresses and ruffles are very much in for spring/summer and the BESO singer just proved that the two trends together make for the perfect festival outfit. It was giving balletcore and now we need a sheer, ruffled item in our closet as a matter of urgency.

So, if you too were obsessed with Rosalía's flowy look, here's how to recreate it—even if you're not headlining at Coachella.

Rosalía's Coachella outfit

As mentioned, Rosalía wore a leather co-ord, with a sheer pink blouse—which featured a tie front and ruffled detailing. It made for the ultimate on-stage outfit, as it dramatically flowed around her like pink smoke and fans loved it.

In fact, one tweeted: "Rosalía performance/outfit was beautiful love that women."

While another said: "Rosalía's stage outfit is so cool the edgy leather top and pants and layering it with pink and delicate robe"; and a third wrote: "HER OUTFIT IT'S SO PRETTY."

Some also thought it was a subtle nod to fellow performers BLACKPINK, but all in all, the ruffled blouse was a hit.

The fit was custom-made by Acne Studios so it's unlikely we'll ever be able to get out hands on the exact ensemble. However, luckily for us, ruffled, semi-sheer tops, dresses, and wraps—along with maxi denim skirts and the whole coastal cowgirl aesthetic—are having a major moment this season, so creating a Rosalía-inspired look is actually pretty easy!

There are a lot of ruffled routes you can go down if you're wanting to include a nod to Rosalía's Coachella performance in your next outfit. You can either opt for a sheer, ruffled top with trousers, a pink ruffled dress, or a tulle wrap—whatever your style, there's a way to work in a touch of Rosalía...
