It's been a busy week for Disney's best.

Demi Lovato boyfriend news just broke, right on the heels of the Selena Gomez and Andrea Iervolino dating rumors, a  friends to lovers relationship fans are watching ever so closely.

According to a People exclusive, the "Sorry, Not Sorry" singer is not only gearing up for an album release, but a new romantic chapter as well. Naturally, all bystanders are rooting for the crooner.

Demi Lovato boyfriend news

Reports indicate that the 29-year-old is in a great relationship with a fellow musician, though said musician has yet to be named. An insider for the publication noted that the union is both happy and healthy.

Details are still mum, and it's not entirely clear how long the two have been seeing one another. Fans haven't witnessed any traces of the romance on Lovato's social media pages, either, but perhaps the singer and actor will be a bit more forthcoming as things progress. (We're sure fans will be keeping their eyes peeled.) Perhaps there will be details on Lovato's new album?

Before word got out that the Unidentified with Demi Lovato star was seeing someone new, she revealed that she had changed her pronouns once again from "they/them" to "she/her."

"I'm such a fluid person when it comes to my gender, my sexuality, my music, my creativity," Lovato stated during an episode of the Sprout Podcast in August 2022. "Last year, my energy was balanced in my masculine and feminine energy."

Another change for Lovato seems to be musically. "Holy fvck," is her new album slated for an August 19, release strays away from her pop roots and dips into emo territory with tracks like "Substance" and "Skin of My Teeth." At first, it might seem as though you're listening to Paramore.

In "Substance," Lovato states:

"F*** the theatrics/
What happened to classic/
Give me the real s***/
Give me the magic"

Here's hoping she's found substance in this new romance.
