It's safe to say the actress has been having one hell of a year, what with starring in Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie, as "Physicist Barbie" and bidding farewell to Moordale High. But it's not just in the career department that she's coming up aces it seems, as Emma—despite being very private about her love life—is thought to have a new beau.

Who is Emma Mackey dating?

So, is Emma Mackey dating anyone right now? The answer is yes, she sure is! Emma Mackey is in a relationship with filmmaker and photographer, Martin Aleman—with whom she attended the 2022 Bafta Awards (as per Bustle), where she landed the EE’s Rising Star Award.

Along with their cute red carpet debut, Martin also took the opportunity to celebrate his partner, taking to Instagram to share a snap of Emma receiving her award with the caption, "My Love," on his Stories.

The latest update we received on the couple came our way on March 2, 2023, after the pair were papped attending the Cabaret gala night at the Playhouse Theatre in London.

It's unclear when exactly the pair got together or how long they've been dating though and that's unlike to change anytime soon, as Emma is very private about her life off-screen.

In fact, she told Elle in 2021 after deleting her Instagram account: "I think it just doesn’t correlate with who I am. I don’t really see why [the world should follow] someone like me, who just wants a simple life, which is hilarious because I don’t think I’ve chosen the right job for it."

Like with Asa Butterfield's girlfriend sitch, not a ton is known about Emma's dating history as she likes to keep her love life (and private life, in general) out of the spotlight.

Before her relationship with Martin though, Emma was previously linked to actor Dan Whitlam, with their pair making their relationship official on Instagram in 2018. The pair were then spotted out together a number of times, with Emma making a few more appearances over on Dan's Instagram but they eventually split—though it's not known exactly when they parted ways.
