Euphoria specials

After part one of Euphoria's special two-parter, 'Rue' dropped in December 2019, the hit show returned with 'Jules', the second of its special episodes, which aired first in the US on HBO Max before coming to the UK.

Now that Euphoria season two is in full swing, fans are getting their weekly dose of the show. But if that isn't enough, you can always go back and watch the specials, both of which are separate from the main events in the show.

Euphoria: what to know?

The unsettling teen drama, which stars multi-talented Emmy-winner Zendaya as Rue Bennett, is all we've been talking about since it debuted in 2019. Not only has it brought a whole host of new talent to the eyes of Hollywood - including Hunter Schafer who plays Jules (Rue's love interest) Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira and Sydney Sweeney to name a few - Euphoria has also inspired its very own beauty looks, with many imitating the bold, bright make-up seen on the show.

But most of all, it's the complex storylines and portrayal of a Gen-Z, teen experience that resonates with viewers. The show covers a number of dark themes including drug addiction, trauma, friendships, love and the pressures of growing up in a digital age.

Euphoria specials in order

Part one - Trouble Don't Last Always - picks up with Rue after her relapse. She's contemplating her life in a diner when she runs into Ali (Colman Domingo), who she met at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

Part two - Fuck Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob - focuses on Jules going into therapy for the first time and confronting some uncomfortable truths.

How to watch the Euphoria specials from the US and UK

The Euphoria specials are available on HBO Max for US audiences and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV for UK viewers.
