By now, you've visited Cousins Beach and asked, "Who plays Jeremiah in The Summer I Turned Pretty?"

The world has fallen in love with Jenny Han's series—so much so that we're searching for shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty and books like The Summer I Turned Prettyso it's only right to get to know the stars off-screen.

Allow us to introduce you to your new favorite fella.

Who plays Jeremiah in 'The Summer I Turned Pretty'?

Meet Gavin Casalegno, the up-and-coming actor behind the youngest Fisher brother.

"Jeremiah, quite frankly, is me in real life," Casalegno revealed to V Magazine. "When I got the character breakdown, I was literally questioning how they knew me so well."

In order to prep for the audition, Casalegno claims he created a summer-worthy playlist of his own to get into the spirit of the story. Needless to say, it worked. Though he ultimately received the role, it took him several days to actually process the fact that he was soon to play Jeremiah.

How old is Gavin Casalegno?

Born on September 2, 1999, Casalegno is 22 years old. (And he's a Virgo, for the astrologically curious among us.)

Who is Gavin Casalegno girlfriend?

Is Jeremiah bi in 'The Summer I Turned Pretty'?

There's, of course, a heavy focus on romance in The Summer I Turned Pretty. For the first time, Belly sees the Fisher boys in a new light—and vice versa—making it hard to choose which brother is the right match for her.

The story consists of plenty of firsts: loves, dates, kisses and so on. Given that Jeremiah points out the guys and girls he's kissed while venturing around the country club with Belly, fans have questioned his sexuality.

Author Jenny Han revealed that, like Belly, he's still young and attempting to figure out what suits him well. It's more about self-discovery for the characters at this point in time.

"I would say [he’s] sexually fluid," she told TV Line. "He is a young person who’s figuring out where he falls in all that and hasn’t experienced a lot of love yet. It’s still kind of early on in that journey."

There's still a lot to unfold in this coming-of-age story, and we're certainly looking forward to The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. Given that filming is underway in July, we'll have to be patient until the next installment hits.

For now, enjoy the debut season on Amazon and download The Summer I Turned Pretty soundtrack for all-things pop, love and Taylor Swift.
