Adele attending Daniel Kaluuya’s Oscar after-party is already one of the highlights of 2021

While the Oscars were wonderfully dominated by female directors, iconic Oscar gowns, and Zendaya's mask moment, there's another must-see moment to add to the list—Adele attending a certain Oscar after-party.

Usually very enigmatic, the singer's public appearances are few and far between. But lo and behold, we got the celebrity moment we never knew we needed. After the Oscars ceremony earlier this week, Adele was spotted at Daniel Kaluuya’s after-party, no doubt celebrating the British actor's Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Judas and the Black Messiah.

All we can say is, it’s definitely a party if Adele is there. She rocked up wearing a gorgeous little black dress, with a green satin robe with a heavenly fluffy trim, very 00s chic. 

She was seen singing along to Jennifer Lopez’s 2001 hit ‘I’m real’,  got busy taking plenty of selfies, and generally just looked like she was having a blast. Fans flocked to Twitter to discuss and rejoice at the rare appearance, with one writing: "Adele is coming to serve us a colorful era, my god."

"Anyway, here’s Adele dancing to the “I’m Real” remix at an Oscars after-party", another wrote, while another joked: "And another joked ‘Daydreamers: WHERES THE ALBUM?? Adele:..’"

The last TV appearance she made was when she hosted SNL, she posted wrote on Instagram: "Happy Halloween! I’m going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year ♥️."

She disappeared for months until her most recent Instagram post, where she celebrated the 10th birthday of her hit album 21. Alongside pictures of the album artwork, she wrote: "Well I never! Happy 10 years old friend!"

Perhaps her attendance at the Oscar after-party could mean we can expect some exciting things from her soon... Maybe a new album? PLEASE?!
