Wait, are Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde a thing?

Harry Styles might be officially off the market. As if 2021 wasn’t hard enough, we now have to wave goodbye to another single man of our dreams. Harry Styles, who recently graced our eyes and ears with his Treat People with Kindness video, is dating actress and director Olivia Wilde. 

Are Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde dating?

The news comes after Styles and Wilde were spotted arriving at his agent’s Jeff Azoff’s wedding, in matching Gucci outfits (as you do.) They were then seen holding hands and getting cosy. They even reportedly shared a room for the wedding and seemed very happy and affectionate together. This coupling may take you by surprise but it does make sense as they have been working very closely together on Wilde’s upcoming film Don’t worry darling, a psychological thriller that will star the likes of Florence Pugh and Chris Pine.

The two have reportedly been dating for several weeks following Wilde’s split from long time fiancé Jason Sudeikis, with whom she has two children. Harry brought her to the wedding and reportedly introduced her to friends as his girlfriend. 

As you would imagine, this news has been met with mixed emotions, many expressing delight and excitement at the pairing while others are professing their jealousy and heartbreak. Twitter is in shambles as people everywhere share their feelings and we can’t help but sympathize.

Sadly it was always going to happen one way or another - Harry can’t date all of us! However we can take comfort in the knowledge that Olivia stans Harry just as much as we do. 

Following his iconic Vogue cover, Wilde defended and expressed her support telling Vogue: “To me, he’s very modern and I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world.” Now that is something we can all agree with.
