*Celebrity beauty klaxon* – one of our all-time favourite people Jonathan Van Ness has just opened up about his skincare secrets. Pull up a chair, because you're going to want in.

The Queer Eye star recently kicked off the year with a surprise announcement to his followers – that he secretly got married in 2020.

Taking to Instagram to reflect on the, ahem, unusual past year, JVN revealed that one of the highlights of his year was tying the knot. "I got married to my best friend & have a loving partner to continue building my life with," he wrote. No, you're crying.

In other [slightly less exciting but nevertheless still important] news, Jonathan has also recently revealed some of his favourite evening skincare products. Considering he's Queer Eye's grooming expert, Biossance's Global Self Care Ambassador and an all-round glowing human being, you can bet we're taking notes.

In exclusive interview with Byrdie as part of the "Byrdie Bedtime" video series, the star shared his evening skincare routine. When it comes to that all important face wash, he revealed he loves using the "gorgeous" Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cleanser.

This super gentle cleanser is fragrance free and contains ultimate hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water.

Easily removing the day's make-up and dirt, the light-as-a-cloud formula leaves your skin feeling soft and never stripped, so it's a great choice for your pre-bedtime regime.

As well as mentioning Biossance and Algenist products as part of his night time line-up, JVN says he also loves the iconic Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist – and has a pretty unique use for it, too.

"I also don't know why but I really like to spray it on my hands," he explained. "It just makes me feel like I'm living luxuriously."

We'll have to give that one a try for ourselves!
