It’s true what they say, everything at some point comes back in style, whether it’s fringe hairstyles, 2000s fashion trends, or moon boots. Younger generations rediscover the styles of the past and whether we like it or not, fashion always comes full circle. That leads us on to the latest garment we’re seeing everywhere, Corsets, and in particular the celeb-approved corset brand, Maiou.

We probably have Bridgerton to thank for our sudden love for regency fashion pieces, leading to an actual trend called ‘Regencycore', which includes long gloves, pearls, and of course corsets.

Corsets really are everywhere right now, and while you can find them in pretty much every color and at every retailer, there’s one brand in particular that really knows how to serve looks.

 What is Miaou?

Miaou is a womenswear brand founded by designer Alexa Elkaim which quickly reached viral, cult status among fashion lovers and celebs alike, thanks to its ‘retro-romantic vibe.’

Everyone from Hailey Bieber to Paloma Elsesser is wearing Miaou’s statement corsets right now. Even Maddy (Alexa Demie) wore one of their offerings in Euphoria! And while we know ‘corsets’ might seem a little scary, we’re here to assure you that they’re actually very wearable.

While they used to be seen as underwear, or a way to crush women’s ribs to create a tiny waist, now they are made to fit you—not that other way around—and can be a sexy and empowering item of clothing.

Celebs wearing Miaou

Thanks to Miaou, you can find every style from dramatic leather to edgy monochrome, even floral—which is perfect for spring might we add.

The best thing about these corsets is their versatility, you can either go full glam, by pairing them with mini or midi skirts, or dress them down with jeans or leather trousers. As we see here on Hailey B and Kylie Jenner...
