When it comes to TV, we’re all suckers for a bit of drama, especially if it’s a true story. Once Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview was announced, we've all been frantically watching every preview clip, analysing the secrets behind Meghan Markle's Oprah look, and nailing down how and when to watch the special.

Next week's interview is looking to be the most dramatic Oprah Q&A we've ever seen. To prepare for the big chat between the legendary TV host and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the folks at OnBuy.com did a recent study of Oprah Winfrey's most iconic celebrity interviews of all time and ranked them according to views and votes. Think you know which celebrity sit-down claimed the top spot? See the top 10 for yourself below!

 10. Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith

Jada and Will Smith's interview from 2010 collectively has 2,778,795 views and a 95-percent positive response. The interview saw the couple discuss their "marriage business plan" and talk candidly about their relationship. Their famous kids, Willow and Jaden Smith, also joined their parents—even Will's ex-wife was in the audience. The Smiths have been frank in the decade since the Oprah Winfrey on how their relationship has weathered a lot of ups and downs.

9. Fergie

Fergie’s 2012 interview with Winfrey boasts 2.7 million views. During the discussion, Fergie talks about her career and how she overcame her addiction to crystal meth, a dependency that nearly killed her. The Black Eyed Peas singer talks openly about her rock bottom moments and paranoia. Viewers liked how candidly—and genuinely—Fergie talked to Oprah. The interview has a 93.7-percent positive rating.

8. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to interviews, as the reality star has been on all the top chat shows. In this 2012 interview, she talks about her infamous sex tape with ex-partner Ray J and her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

Winfrey asks what we were all wondering: if the nuptials were a stunt done for ratings. The interview currently has more than four million views.

7. Dave Chapelle

Comedian Dave Chappelle’s 2006 interview has more than four million views. The first question Winfrey asks the famous funnyman is, 'Why did you walk away from $50 million?'—referring to the $50 million contract he turned down when he left his sketch comedy TV series, Chappelle's Show.

6. Rihanna

Rihanna’s 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey was an emotional and open one.

In it, the singer talks about her relationship with Chris Brown and his violence against her. She discusses her father, her childhood, and the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of Brown. Surprisingly however, Rihanna admitted to Winfrey that she had forgiven her former romantic partner.

The interview clip has 4.6 million views and one of the highest positivity ratings at 97.9%

 5. Ellen DeGeneres

DeGeneres' 1997 interview was iconic, mainly because DeGeneres had only just come out publicly—two weeks earlier on a cover of TIME magazine, infamously emblazoned with the words: "Yep, I'm Gay."

The Oprah Winfrey interview was one of the first times DeGeneres talked openly about her sexuality, and it remains a huge moment for the LGBTQ+ community.

4. 50 Cent

50 Cent's interview in 2012 with Oprah sees him talk about his childhood, the death of his mother, and returning to his old neighborhood after his music success. Like Rihanna's, the sit-down discussion was enjoyed by viewers for the rapper's emotion and openness.

3. Donald Trump

Donald Trump's 1988 conversation with Oprah Winfrey has over 7 million views and, of course, features the real-estate mogul telling the TV host that he wanted to run for president someday. Obviously he got his wish...

2.  Michael Jackson

The controversial pop singer comes in second for most viewed Oprah Winfrey interviews, with 7.8 million views. Jackson talked candidly about his skin color and a controversial news story about a white child playing him in a commercial and how he thought the idea was "horrifying."

1. Mike Tyson

Coming in at number one is heavyweight champion Mike Tyson—perhaps surprising but, with 9.9 million views, he is the clear winner.

During the interview, Tyson talked to Winfrey about his erratic behavior, his famous rival Evander Holyfield (yes, the guy whose ear he bit), and the sad loss of his daughter.
