Curious fans have asked, "Are Khloe and Tristan still together?"

This has rarely been a "yes" or "no" question. When news broke of Khloe Kardashian expecting a baby via surrogate, everyone assumed the on-again, off-again couple was back on...kind of.

Now that The Kardashians season 2 is underway, we've learned that Koko has decided to fly solo. In fact, now that her little man has arrived, it's clearer than ever before that she and Tristan will be sticking to a co-parenting relationship. But the Good American founder did make a few eye-opening reveals at the start of the show's new season that threw us for a loop.

But before we dive into specifics, allow us to backtrack and get you up to speed: Khloe decided to become a mother of two, and just after she and Tristan approached a surrogate, she learned of his cheating scandal—timing at its worst.

"We can confirm True [Thompson] will have a sibling who was conceived in November," a rep for Khloé Kardashian told E! News."Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."

Another happy moment tarnished. Khloe and Tristan have been on-again, off-again since their union in 2016. Throughout their relationship, Tristan was involved in many a cheating scandal: right before the birth of the couple's daughter, True, in 2018, he kissed Kylie Jenner's former best friend, Jordan Woods, and ultimately never really regained the Good American founder's trust, and understandably so.

However, things seemed to be on the uptick in 2021 at the start of the family's new reality show. Koko was busy constructing her new mega dream home next door to momager Kris—which might make you wonder, "Who is the richest Kardashian"—and speaking candidly to cameras about how she and Tristan were in therapy working through their issues.

Right as the home was complete and the family was set to move in, super-sleuth Kim Kardashian discovered a terrifying admission from Tristan that he had fathered a son with Maralee Nichols. She calls all family members bright and early one morning to uncover what they know about the situation. Once she finally gets ahold of Khloe, things turn south.

Apparently, this indiscretion had taken place around the time of the NBA player's 30th birthday, a milestone that Kardashian marked with him. It goes without saying, but she was less than pleased upon hearing the news.

Kardashian had some choice words for her beau, as did Kim. In a conversation between the two sisters, Kim told Khloe on the season one finale: "If that were me and I was really trying to redeem myself and I was trying to be a better person, I would definitely just keep my d*** in my pants."

Are Khloe and Tristan still together?

After the whirlwind, the two are no longer together romantically, but continue to co-parent their children. In fact, many suspected Khloé Kardashian had a new man, and some even thought she had begun dating Michele Morrone, but it turns out that was just overeager fans weighing in.

A sign that the Koko-Tristan romance is truly over? She rejected his marriage proposal...and didn't even tell her family about it.

"I said, 'I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I wanna be proud to say I'm engaged to anyone,'" she revealed in a confessional on episode 2 of the second season. "And that's why I said, 'I'm not comfortable accepting this right now because I'm not excited to tell my family,' and as hurtful as that probably was for him to hear, it was the truth. I'm not ever gonna accept something or give someone false hope, and I said that to him."

Season 2 of The Kardashians is now streaming on Hulu.
