Accio excitement! The much-anticipated Harry Potter reunion 2022 special, entitled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, is on its way to kick off the new year properly.

While we're all for a good marathon of the Twilight Zone on New Year's Day, your favorite wizardry trio will make you inclined to switch things up.

All wizards and muggles alike should stock up on their favorite snacks (Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, of course!) and whip up some butterbeer for the occasion. This monumental Harry Potter reunion is one for the witchcraft books.

Get a sneak peek at all that will unfold on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Harry (Radcliffe) and his two main counterparts will lead the way in revisiting this remarkable fantasy world.

As Watson says: "When things get really dark, and times are really hard, there's something about Harry Potter that makes life richer." We couldn't agree more!

In celebration of the first film of the Potterverse, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone—which turns 20 (!) years old this year, having premiered on November 14, 2001—we are being treated to cast discussions and their sentimental reunion as well as insights from the creative team. Although there will be comments from creator J.K. Rowling, the controversial author will not be as involved with the project as the actors.

“There’s magic in the air here with this incredible cast, as they all return home to the original sets of Hogwarts, where they began 20 years ago. The excitement is palpable as they prepare to take their fans on a very special and personal journey, through the making of these incredible films,” executive producer Casey Patterson said in a press release.

We're ready to relive Harry's exciting journey and, in turn, our childhood.
