If you're wondering how to watch Peacock TV outside of the US, then you've come to the right place.

The platform is the latest streaming service on everyone's radar but unlike its competitors like Netflix and Disney+, it's free. Yep, that's right - you can watch  your favourite shows completely free of charge on Peacock, which is powered by NBC Universal.

The recently launched platform is airing old classics from NBC and NBC cable networks such as Bravo and Syfy, many of which those of us outside the US haven't been able to watch in years. We're talking Everybody Hates Chris, George Lopez, and The King of Queens as well as endless episodes of Law & Order and Chicago franchises. Oh, and you can also expect to see Spanish-language programs and telenovelas.

How to watch Peacock TV from anywhere in the world

If you're currently based outside the US, unable to use your usual TV subscription, and need your fix of NBC classics, there's a great way to watch from wherever you are in the world. It's... a VPN.

A VPN  is a handy piece of software that allows you to browse anonymously, and to change your IP address so your mobile, computer, or laptop thinks it's in another location. Meaning, you can watch your favourite show, film or event - even if you’re away from home.

Our favourite VPN service is ExpressVPN - rated the best VPN in the world right now, by our colleagues at TechRadar.

Tyler Williams, (back, l-r) Terry Crews, Imani Hakim, Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond and Vincent Martella star in EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS on UPN Fall 2005. This photo is provided for use in conjunction with the UPN Summer 2005 Press Tour being held in Beverly Hills, CA.

How to get started

1. Make sure you've signed up to Peacock and have an account.

2. Once you've installed your VPN, open the app and select your server location as anywhere in the United States.

3. With your ExpressVPN installed and your location set to the United States, head to Peacock.

4. Follow the instructions to stream all your favourite shows on the platform.

Why we like ExpressVPN

  • It's super-fast and easy to use
  • It helps you stay secure and anonymous online
  • It's reliable
  • You can try it for free for a month and, if you sign up for an annual plan, you get 3 months absolutely free
  • Best of all, ExpressVPN comes with a no risk 30-day money back guarantee
