Wondering about Olivia Rodrigo's boyfriends, past and present? Well, you're not alone on that one! While we patiently await the drop of her sophomore album, her love life of late is proving to be as equally elusive as her next break-up anthem. So, here's a recap on Olivia Rodrigo's dating history—from her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series ex to those recent rumors about her and pal Conan Gray...
The Glossier brand ambassador—who has now launched her own lilac-themed Glossier collection—has been keeping her fanbase guessing in regard to her boyfriend situation. The pop-rock queen is just out there living her best life (Good 4 her!) and while we have some intel on her recent romantic dalliances, she is always very tight-lipped on the subject.
Much like many of her fellow musicians, Rodrigo tends to keep her private life, well private—we're always wondering who Selena Gomez is dating for instance, and the same goes for Olivia. But with a new album apparently on the way, we can't help but be curious as to whether the new tracks will be loved-up ballads—hinting at a new relationship—or chart-topping, uber-relatable breakup bangers.
As far as we know, her most recent relationship was with DJ Zack Bia, but even those details are a little hazy. So here's what we've sussed out about Olivia's current relationship status and who she's previously dated...
Who is Olivia Rodrigo dating now?
As far as we know, Olivia Rodrigo is currently single—so no new romance intel on that front!
In fact, since her supposed split from Zack Bia (she never actually confirmed they were dating, but fans were pretty convinced), there hasn't been much to go on romance rumor-wise—though fans have again been speculating about Olivia and her close friendship with fellow singer Conan Gray.
Are Olivia Rodrigo and Conan Gray dating?
While these two are adorable together, Olivia Rodrigo and Conan Gray appear to just be friends and nothing more. In fact, Olivia previously told Capital FM (opens in new tab) in 2021: "We're just pals and I think he's so brilliant."
Gray shared similar sentiments to Hits 1 LA (opens in new tab), saying of Rodrigo: "She's just the best. I love her so much. We have tons of fun together. She reminds me a lot of my little sister. We very much are siblings in every single way I could think of."
And while their relationship appears very much platonic, fans still get to enjoy some seriously cute best-friend moments from the pair, from being major Swifties to red-carpet selfies.
Who has Olivia Rodrigo dated previously?
While Olivia is currently enjoying the single life, she's no stranger to the romance rumor mill, having been previously linked to one of her High School Musical: The Musical: The Series castmates and even a popular TikTok star...
1. Zack Bia
The 19-year-old sparked dating rumors in February 2022 after she was spotted at a Super Bowl after-party with 26-year-old DJ Zack Bia.
The two are said to have casually dated for six months before splitting in August of last year, per Life & Style (opens in new tab).
A source told the magazine: "Their relationship sort of fizzled. They were casually dating but haven’t spent time together in a while. There were no issues—they both have different work schedules and different friend groups."
2. Vinnie Hacker
In May '22, Olivia was also linked to TikToker Vinnie Hacker, with fans convinced that they were an item after they were spotted hugging on a night out together in LA.
Vinnie was also seen at one of her concerts, but neither he nor Olivia addressed the dating rumors.
3. Adam Faze
In 2021, Rodrigo reportedly dated music producer Adam Faze. Speculation began to swirl after the pair were seen attending the Space Jam 2 premiere party together.
Pictures obtained and published by Page Six (opens in new tab) also saw the pair looking pretty cozy and kissing on a day out together in LA.
4. Joshua Bassett
Y'all knew this one was coming! It is widely believed that Olivia had a brief relationship with her HSMTMTS co-star Joshua Bassett after the pair met on set in 2019. The duo played on-screen love interests Nini and Ricki.
Joshua is also theorized to be the inspiration behind Olivia's debut single "Driver's License," about his rumored relationship with Sabrina Carpenter. But as with all of Olivia's supposed romances, she's kept mum on the subject!
There seem to be no hard feelings though, as Joshua and Olivia appear to still be friends, posing together at the season 3 premiere of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
