Love Island fans will remember Amy Hart from season five, which is arguably one of the best Love Island series of all time. And while she didn’t find love on the dating show, she most certainly did IRL and has now announced that she’s expecting a baby with boyfriend Sam Rason. But what exactly do we know about Amy’s new man?

Anyone who watched the fifth installment of Love Island will know that Amy shared some of the most memorable Love Island moments and most quoted fights with her original couple, Curtis Pritchard. To this day, their post-Casa Amor confrontation is one of the most iconic memes from the show—and since her villa stint, she’s gone on to enjoy some serious career success.

From sharing production secrets on TikTok—like how the Love Island parties work—and a number of TV appearances like Celebs Go Dating, Amy has now found her happily ever after with boyfriend Sam!

Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women, Amy announced the happy news that she is pregnant following a whirlwind year with Sam—so what better time to discuss her beau? Here’s everything we know about Sam Rason…

What is Sam Rason’s Job?

It turns out Sam has quite a successful career himself. He’s a tech entrepreneur and founder of a company called ‘Viva City’ which utilize ‘WeChat mini-programs to increase direct sales opportunity and improve customer experience for Chinese customers.’ We feel no shame in admitting that we do not understand what that sentence means, but still, sounds impressive!

Since meeting Amy, Sam has also added a few TV appearances to his resume. Apart from that though, he keeps a low profile—but doesn't shy away from posting cute couple pic with Amy on his socials.

How long have Amy Hart and Sam Rason been together?

The pair became Insta official in August 2021 and have been going strong ever since, sharing loved-up snaps on their social media accounts. Amy even dubbed him the love of her life to the Daily Mail and shared that they were discussing whether to start a family or to get married first.

Now we know that decision has been made for them, as they revealed that their first baby is on the way!

Speaking on Loose Women, Amy shared: “It was very unexpected, we weren’t going to start trying until next year…I had my 30th completely sober.”

Their interview came three years after Amy appeared on the show to discuss freezing her eggs. She explained: “It was never about not being able to get pregnant, it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve. If I don’t need them, then I’ll donate them.”

The parents-to-be have now also shared a post on Instagram, wearing matching ABBA outfits (couple goals) and holding a sonogram of their baby, captioning the post with: “Mamma Mia 🤩 Here we go…..👶🏼” and revealing that they’ll be welcoming their baby in March 2023!

Amy’s fellow season five stars flooded the comments with congratulatory messages. Molly-Mae wrote: “Oh my gosh how amazing!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH😭😭😭🤍🤍🤍"

While Yewande commented: “Omg! Congratulations guys “

Even, Laura Whitmore, who announced that she was leaving Love Island following season eight, added: “Massive congrats ❤️❤️❤️❤️xxx”
