With the release of the final volume of Harry and Meghan's docu-series, we've learned a lot about the royal couple—from Meghan's mimosa wedding breakfast to who Meghan and Harry's friends are—but we also got to hear all of the Harry and Meghan's nicknames for each other.

While Harry and Meghan already have a few identifying titles—like Duke and Duchess and in Harry's case, Prince—the pair also have a number of private nicknames, like most couples.

So far, we've heard at least four of the pair's endearing nicknames throughout the six-part Netflix documentary—though one, in particular, has left some fans stumped...

All of Harry and Meghan's nicknames from their docu-series

During the course of Harry and Meghan's relationship, it seems their nicknames have gotten shorter and shorter, starting with three letter mantles to just one!

What does Meghan call Harry?

In the series, we heard quite a few names that Meghan uses to address her husband, from 'My Love' (cute!) to 'Haz', which is an abbreviation of his first name and also what one of Meghan's friends also referred to Harry in episode one.

Harry has previously joked that he doesn't like when anyone else, aside from Meghan, uses that particular name. During his appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden in February, Corden called him "Haz" after overhearing Meghan say it, to which Harry replied: "You’re not my wife.”

Along with this classic nickname, Meghan also often shortens his name even more, referring to him by just one letter.

Why does Meghan call Harry 'H'?

Meghan calls Harry 'H' often during the series, in what has been a well-known nickname for some time after she let it slip on her Spotify podcast Archetypes.

It's, of course, the first letter of his name and she likely uses it because it's fast, slightly unconventional (while Harry is quite a common name) but perhaps also because Harry also calls her 'M'.

What does Harry call Meghan?

As mentioned, Harry also calls Meghan by the first letter of her name, as well as 'Meg'—which is a classic nickname for anyone who shares her name.

Funnily enough though, while we now know all of their nicknames for each other, some fans might be surprised to learn that 'Harry' and 'Meghan' aren't actually even their legal birth names!

Harry's legal name is actually Henry—Henry Charles Albert David to be exact—though his family and the entire world call him "Harry" (which is traditionally the English short form of Henry).

Meghan on the other hand, actually goes by her middle name, with her first being Rachel (which funnily enough is also the name of her character in Suits).

As far as Meghan's name goes, changing up your name in the acting world is pretty common, with many stars adopting more of a stage name. Take icons like Marilyn Monroe for instance, whose name was actually Norma Jeane or model Gigi Hadid, whose legal name is 'Jelena'.
