Rumor has it that Adele is hitting the stage in 2022, but we're not exactly sure when.

The singer was set to begin a Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace on January 21, 2022—a highly sought-after ticket—but fate had other plans.

"I'm so sorry, but my show ain't ready," she said in a January 20 video on social media. "We've tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time, and for it to be good enough for you, but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID."

Adele just wowed listeners with her new album, 30, an emotional compilation of ballads like "Easy on Me" and "I Drink Wine," which, naturally, fans were anxious to hear live. Fans will have to be patient just a tad longer.

Adele tour 2022: What's going on?

One day before the show was set to begin, Adele revealed that the residency had to be canceled. She stated she and her team were up for over 30 straight hours trying to figure out how to get the show up and running, but to no avail.

"I'm gutted, and I'm sorry it's so last-minute," she said in between tears.

Will Adele Vegas tickets be rescheduled?

Although details are minimal at this time, the singer assured fans that the shows will be rescheduled, giving hope that the queen of the breakup song will hit the stage at some point and we will be the one crying this time—not her. There is no word on additional tickets being up for grabs when that time comes.

Fingers crossed that all will work out in Sin City and Adele's July 2022 Hyde Park performances. We're rooting for you, Adele!
