Beauty news klaxon! We are now privy to details of AOC's skincare routine. That's right, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just shared some of her go-to skincare products, and we are listening.
This week journalist Lisa Guerrero tagged the politician on Twitter, writing: "I don’t mean to state the obvious but besides being compassionate, articulate and brilliant, @aoc is drop dead gorgeous and what moisturizer is she using okay I’m done".
Sure, said tweet was a little tongue in cheek, but Cortez took it upon herself to reply anyway and shared a few of her current skincare routine staples.

What is AOC's skincare routine?
Much like ourselves, AOC revealed she's currently a big fan of drugstore skincare. In reply to the above tweet, she wrote, "Thanks! I've actually been trying some new drugstore items in my skincare. The Cerave Vit C serum is legit! I tried a fancier one before that but it turned orange too fast. I've also been using either the Cerave tinted sunscreen or @iliabeauty super serum w/ a little powder". All noted!

Of course, this isn't the first time that AOC has shared some of her skincare secrets. In a Vogue video last year, she revealed her go-to moisturizer is the Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream ($19.99, Amazon (opens in new tab)), which has been touted as a bargain alternative to Drunk Elephant's Protini Polypeptide Cream.
She has also previously taken to Instagram stories to share that she prefers the best BB cream or tinted moisturizer instead of full coverage foundation in a bid to keep her skin healthy.
