Did Gwyneth Paltrow just confirm THAT Brad Pitt girlfriend theory?
At last, we get some answers

The internet can be a very weird and wonderful place, full of fan theories and sleuths—like the TikTok detectives who had a theory that Kylie Jenner was pregnant again, and the Ari fans that sussed out REM beauty. The theories are usually bizarre, but some are quite convincing especially the Brad Pitt girlfriend theory—that Gwyneth Paltrow low-key just confirmed.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Brad Pitt girlfriend theory, let us fill you in. The Oscar-winning actor has a long list of star-studded exes and fans think that with every new girlfriend, Brad adapts their style—especially when it comes to their haircut and hair color.
It may sound weird, but when you take a look back at his style, and his corresponding partners, the evidence is pretty convincing. From Jennifer Aniston’s wavy, mid-length hair, Angelina Jolie's brunette hair to Gwyneth Paltrow's crop cut.

Now Gwyneth has addressed this very cropped look in a new video for her wellness brand Goop.
When asked about her and Brad’s matching 90’s look, she said: “We went to the same stylist for the cut. Chris McMillan cut both of our hair like this.” Although she added she had no idea he was having the same look done.
So now we know the reason behind this look in particular, but what about the matching sunglasses, Gwyneth?
This isn’t the first time she’s commented on this theory. Back in 2019, Instagrammer @leandramcohen posted an article to her account on the very subject, to which Gwenyth commented: “Or we like to look like him, let's face it.”
This theory makes the rounds on social media every few years, with either another new look from Brad or people stumbling across the hilarious pictures of the iconic boyfriend, girlfriend looks—maybe Brad just loves being ‘couple goals’ with his partners.
