The internet is calling for Emma Chamberlain to interview at every star-studded event after this iconic Aubrey Plaza, Madelyn Cline and Stella McCartney girl band moment at the Met Gala 2023—and yes, it was as chaotic as it sounds.

Falling on the first Monday of May, this year's Met Gala certainly delivered its fair share of viral moments. From that Emma Chamberlain and Jack Harlow reunion (she's killin' it right now!) to Olivia Wilde and Margaret Zhang's matching dress faux pas—and don't even get us started on all those Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny Met sightings. That being said though, there was one moment that truly topped them all, and it comes from a foursome we never knew we needed...

In case you missed it, fans are now calling Emma the 'Queen of the Met' after she—through her magical interviewing vibes—managed to get designer, Stella McCartney, Outer Banks' Madelyn Cline and none other than The White Lotus star, Aubrey Plaza, all singing a ballad from The Sound of Music on the Met Gala steps.

Inside the Emma Chamberlain, Madelyn Cline, Aubrey Plaza and Stella McCartney moment

Yes, it really did all play out exactly as it sounds! The trio gathered around Emma—with Stella holding a Vogue microphone—who then remarked on how they all looked like a 'girl band.'

Almost immediately, Stella broke into the famous 'la la la' vocal warm-up, swiftly joined by Aubrey, with Madelyn then taking the 'mi, mi, mi' line before they jumped straight into the intro to The Sound of Music's 'Do-Re-Me' track. Emma then looked into the camera (in classic The Office-style) and said: "I will not sing in public," as the trio broke into the famous 'Doe, a deer' verse.

Then came, what can only be described as 30ish seconds of joyous, girl band synergy, as they sang (albeit, sometimes getting the lyrics wrong) with Emma dancing along beside them. Before Stella McCartney then finished off their set with a literal mic drop—iconic.

So, how did Stella, Madelyn and Aubrey end up gracing the world with their own rendition of 'Do-Re-Mi' with Emma playing the role of backup dancer, during their Met interview?

Well, fans have chalked it all up to Emma's laid-back interviewing skills and overall aura that seems to put even the most notable names at ease.

As one viewer commented: "Emma's straight up matching everyone's vibe and I'm here for it."

While another quipped: "These moments are only possible when Emma is interviewing"

"Emma needs to do this EVERY YEAR FOR THE MET GALA," said another, and a fourth simply dubbed her: "Emma the Queen of the Met Gala."

Fingers crossed we get another year of Emma Chamberlain Met Gala interviews in 2024 and see this group reunite!
