This week saw the inauguration of President Joe Biden take place, and as part of the evening celebrations, Katy Perry performed her hit "Firework" in front of the Washington monument. Her make-up artist has now shared the foundation she wore for the iconic performance – and it's a classic.

Both Katy Perry and Lady Gaga opted for red lipstick for inauguration day, most likely because of the bold color's powerful connotations. With her platinum blonde hair scraped back into a low bun, her complexion was sculpted to perfection and complete with a warm nude eye and red lip.

If you're looking to recreate Katy Perry's inauguration beauty look for yourself, you're in luck, as her make-up artist has revealed the exact products he used to create the look.

What foundation does Katy Perry wear?

Ahead of the performance, Katy's make-up artist Michael Anthony used two shades of the iconic Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (4.5 and 5.5) to perfect her complexion. This formula is the something of an A-list go-to, with Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and Meghan Markle all reported fans.

"For Katy's inauguration performance, I kept thinking about timeless beauty – how looking at work from the past, I'm reminded of how far we've come," Anthony told Allure. "I wanted to look back on this and be reminded of how special this day was, so I took extra time in sculpting Katy's features with slightly different tones."
