Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's divorce has been a long and seemingly tricky process—but now it looks as though the pair are finally making some headway in their lengthy separation case.
It has been reported that the SKIMS founder has now been declared legally single, after hers and Ye's latest court hearing.
Kim made the request for the legal change back in December—around 10 months after filing for divorce in January 2021.
But the former KUWTK star has also made another big life change following this recent court proceeding, too...
She will also be changing her name back from Kim Kardashian-West to just Kim Kardashian—after a motion was granted by the judge at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
It's a pretty big change for the business mogul, who has used the name for her beauty business, KKW Beauty, and her off-shoot business KKW Fragrance. She also currently uses the handle Kim Kardashian West for her Instagram account, though her Twitter account is now just 'Kim Kardashian'.
Kardashian's beauty business KKW Beauty hinted at big changes to come months ago on its Instagram account, deleting all other posts and sharing a statement that the brand was taking a break.
The statement said: "We're currently away working on a new, more modern, elevated and sustainable brand and customer experience—the way Kim has always envisioned." They finished the post saying, "We promise we won't be gone for too long."
Back in her personal life and outside of her divorce from Ye, Kardashian still appears to be blissfully happy with SNL host and comedian Pete Davidson.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson started dating last Fall after meeting on Saturday Night Live, and were last spotted enjoying a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at Cipriani's restaurant in New York.
It follows a host of new relationships for the world's most famous family—Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker of course recently got engaged, too.
We reckon we'll likely see all of the drams play out on the brand new Kardashians on Hulu show, and we can't wait...
