Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have officially married AGAIN but this time in a grand Italian ceremony, with the whole Kar-Jenner clan in attendance. This lavish occasion meant we finally got to see Kourt’s official wedding dress—which was a unique mini-dress, baring a special tribute to Travis.
Kourtney and Travis legally married on May 15th at a courthouse in Santa Barbara ahead of the Italy ceremony—which left many fans confused and wondering just what was going on with their wedding plans—especially after they also married in a ‘fake’ Vegas wedding the month prior.
At last, we can confirm that their legal marriage and official wedding ceremony have taken place and that the PDA loving pair are finally Mr and Mrs—and in true ‘Kravis’ fashion, Kourtney’s choice of wedding dress really got fans talking.
Instead of a traditional, long gown, Kourt opted for a mini dress style but was still very much a vision in white, thanks to her fabulous veil. We all better get prepared to see the mini wedding dress become a major trend now, as according to AskGambler searches for the style soared by 231% after Kourt debuted her gown.
The dress was a one-of-a-kind Dolce and Gabanna lingerie-inspired dress that the mother of three helped design herself, which she told Vogue was a “dream come true in every way.”
She paired the dress with lace gloves but the trailing veil was the real show stopper. It fanned out to reveal an image of the Virgin Mary and the words ‘Family Loyalty Respect'—which is a tribute to one of Travis’ tattoos.
This unique dress was actually one of several that Kourtney wore over the wedding weekend, including a black mini dress that bore a similar Virgin Mary depiction, which she paired with a black veil with blue trimming and black lace gloves.
It seems as though there was a gothic/religious theme to their wedding with the likes of Kim and Khloe also sporting similar aesthetics to the ceremony. Khloe wore an extravagant gold crown with a gold cross and chain around her waist, while Kim wore a gold choker with—you guessed it—a huge cross.
