I'm currently wearing the Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Mascara, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say I'm makeup-free. (In a good way.)
I decided to take a cue from the likes of Gabrielle Union, Winnie Harlow and Diane von Furstenberg, a few stars who graced us with memorable Met Gala fashion moments and opted for Lancôme's latest goodie for the big event.
Unlike these ladies, I am not making a red carpet appearance—I'm just working from home—but who could say no to a little pop of color?
Typically, after applying an assortment of earth-tone eyeshadows, I mentally prep for my least favorite part of the makeup process: adding mascara. I'm used to clumping and never quite mastered how to stop mascara from flaking, but Lancôme took the frustration away.
Having tested out this Met Gala-approved beauty buy, I can safely say I'll be wearing it for longer trips than the one I just took to the mailbox.

Get to know the Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Mascara
Removing wax from its formula, this mascara is essentially weightless. The volume isn't outrageous—which is fine, since I prefer a natural look—but the feel alone is enough to make me a convert. I'm not dreading the clean-up process, either, which I cannot say for some of Hypnôse Mascara's peers.
What's more, shea butter and lash-enhancing amino acids are hard at work to provide stronger, healthier lashes. Bottom line? It looks good, feels good and does good.
It's perfect for everyday wear and gives your eyes a little extra oomph. But if you were really attempting to go big or go home, you'll want to apply this a generous number of times.
You'll notice I could've added even more with the help of the best eyeliners for beginners, but truth be told, I'm afraid, so I did without it for this WFH beauty extravaganza. (Next time!)
Now that my eye look is chic and clean thanks to Lancôme, I look forward to actually applying makeup for those moments when I decide to leave the house!
