We all know that the dream end goal of Love is Blind is to find your perfect partner, make it down the aisle and live a reality TV "happily ever after"—but where do those Love is Blind engagement rings come from anyway?

Love is Blind season 3 debuted on Netflix on Wednesday, October 19, with a whole new batch of daters. It's only been a few episodes so far and already there are Love is Blind season 3 couples to root for—in fact, five couples have left the pods engaged already during the third season. (Spoiler alert! The newly engaged are Brennon and Alexa, Bartise and Nancy, Matt and Colleen, Zanab and Cole, and SK and Raven.)

But who actually foots the bill for those life-changing diamonds seen during the show's proposals? Here's what we know:

Does the cast pay for the 'Love is Blind engagement rings'?

Short answer, no. "If they want to propose and want to have a ring to give, we provide—up to a certain level—a ring for them to do that with," show creator Chris Coelen told Variety (opens in new tab). "If they choose to do that, we actually give choices. There are, like, 10 or 12 different styles and colors. It’s up to them, they don’t have to. There’s no pressure to do that."

"Whatever they choose, we pay for. Whatever we pay for, they keep, regardless of engagement ending," a representative told POPSUGAR (opens in new tab). However, if they do want extra embellishments or ring customization outside of what is offered, the couple would have to personally pay for those upgrades.

And, of course, there is the option to bring your own ring, as we saw when contestant Kyle Abrams used his mother's ring to propose to Shaina Hurley back in Love is Blind season 2

Where do the 'Love is Blind' engagement rings come from?

All of the jewelry from Love is Blind season 3 is reportedly sourced from Bridal Rings Company out of Los Angeles, California. Alas, due to the nature of the show, the daters obviously were not able to go to the shop itself to pick out their ring of choice.

"Since they were in the facility and weren't able to go out into the 'real world' at that point, they couldn't have been able to go [to a shop]," Coelen told ET (opens in new tab). "We wouldn't have allowed them to at that point. It's obviously such a gigantic moment in people's lives that we wanted it to be as authentic to them as it possibly could be," he added, by offering the daters a wide selection from Bridal Rings Company.

Episodes five through seven of Love is Blind season 3 will hit the streaming platform on Wednesday, October 26. Tune in on November 9 to see how it all unfolds in episode 11 and the Love Is Blind season 3 reunion!
