This pairing can be traced back to June 2021, after Millie appeared on Jake’s Instagram in a cute car selfie, which he captioned with: “bff <3”
People then reported that they had been spotted holding hands while on a walk in NYC, so that pretty much confirmed that it was a romantic relationship, rather than just being best friends.
July 2021: Insta stories galore
Millie and Jake continued to tease their relationship, with Millie posting numerous cozy snaps to her Instagram stories of them hugging.
November 2021: Finally Instagram official
After months of fleeting stories, Millie finally made her relationship with Jake Insta official, posting a picture of him kissing her cheek to her feed. Jake also posted a picture of the two out on a coffee date—cute!
Fans were clearly delighted by the news as the snap now has over six million likes and thousands of comments.
December 2021: Christmas with Millie and Jake!
Get ready for a new level of cuteness—the couple spent their first Christmas together! Millie posted a festive picture of her and Jake in front of a Christmas tree with the caption: “happy holidays ❤."
Jake also posted a holiday picture, of the pair wearing masks and gazing at each other, while stood in front of the Time's Square Christmas tree.
February 2022: Millie’s birthday
Millie celebrated her 18th birthday on February 19th and treated us to some pictures from her party, including some of herself and Jake giving all the couple goals.
In the post, Millie rocked a blonde wig, and corset leading Jake to comment: “Ur rly pretty”
Jake also posted the same snap, captioning it with: “Happy birthday, barbie ily <3” Millie then commented saying: “endless love.”
March 2022: Millie Bobby-Brown and Jake Bongiovi make their debut at the BAFTAs
The couple really owned the red carpet, with Millie wearing a black velvet and lace dress, with matching long opera gloves, while Jake looked dapper in a black suit, with bleached blonde hair.
Jake had some competition for Millie’s attention, though, as she befriended Florence Pugh on the red carpet—with fans loving their exchange. The two posed together in the cutest pictures that will instantly make you miss your own best friend.
Their friendship really took center stage—they even kind of matched their outfits, both having tulle trains, Florence’s in pink and Millie’s in black and presented the award for 'Best Supporting Actor' together.
