Nobody brought nail game to the red carpet quite like Rita Ora. Met Gala 2023 saw some impressive fashion moments from the likes of Dua Lipa, Sydney Sweeney Michaela Coel and more at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on Monday, May 1, but Mrs. Taika Waititi stood up from the stylish pack not only with the dress on her bod (a gorgeous sheer black Prabal Gurung gown with lace floral appliques and an extensive train) but also the diamonds dripping from her nails.

Yes, in one of the boldest beauty looks of the event, the "Let Me Love You" pop star sported a long black manicure finished with jewels, pearls and chains that draped dramatically down the sides of her dress. (Her second-best accessory? Her director hubby, who coordinated with his bride in a gunmetal blazer, white trousers, black loafers and a multi-strand of pearls.)

Clearly inspired by Chanel (this year's Met Gala theme is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," inspired by the fashion house's famous creative director), the edgy embellishments were reportedly from Buccellati, which also adorned the singer in pearl bracelets, gold cuffs and cocktail earrings worth a cool, cumulative $90,000.

Fans react to those show-stopping Rita Ora Met Gala nails:

Though Ora's nail look is certainly bold (and, frankly, we don't know how functional those things are—we can barely type on an iPhone with regular acrylics!), fans are positively loving the star's dressed-up digits:

How to try Rita Ora-style nail jewelry for yourself:

Again, we don't think everybody can go around with nail adornments as lengthy and bold as Rita's (but again, to each their own!), but that doesn't mean you can't try to add a little razzle-dazzle to your own everyday manicure.

If you want a moody mani a la Ms. Ora, try out these OPI xPRESS/On Long Solid Color Press On Nails in "Midnight Purple" (available at Ulta) as a base and deck them out with 3D Metal Nail Chain Charms (available at Amazon), Gold Nail Art Charms (available at Amazon) and Creamy-White Pearls Heart Nail Charms (available at Amazon). It'll add the perfect pop of glam-punk to any outfit, whether you're wearing a dramatic gown like Rita or a simple tee with jeans.
