Winter Love Island 2023 just welcomed yet another bombshell into the villa—but just who is the new girl in Love Island? Fans reckon she might have a history with Tom Clare—here's everything we know about Love Island's Claudia Fogarty...

As viewers will know, the heart rate challenge has offered up a number of Love Island's most memorable moments—from fueling love triangles to Mary Bedford's infamous mermaid costume—and often sees a bombshell make a grand (but no doubt nerve-wracking) entrance.

Season 9 carried on this tradition with Claudia slow-mo walking into the villa, equipped with a pair of red angel wings (if you missed it, here's how to watch Love Island UK).

Off the bat though, eagle-eyed fans spotted a very telling reaction from Tom, prompting a tonne of theories online that they might already be acquainted— though perhaps he recognized her for one of her many celebrity links...

Here's a full debrief on Claudia, from whether she really DOES know Tom, to her job and her famous family.

Does the new girl in 'Love island', Claudia Fogarty, know Tom Clare?

So, does the new girl in Love Island indeed know Tom? First of all, it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility for an islander's ex to enter the villa—we've seen it happen during a number of previous seasons, including Love Island 2022, where Gemma Owen's ex, Jacques entered ahead of Casa Amor.

Plus, Tom's reaction does make it seem plausible. At first, he looked delighted to see a new girl but as she drew closer his expression seems to change to shock as he said: "oh, f***."

Fans quickly took to Twitter to theorize about the pair potentially being exes, with one writing: "Is the new girl Tom’s ex?! Because that was a genuine look of terror on his face #loveisland"

While another tweeted: "Tom deffo knows that new bombshell looking at that reaction."

With a third adding: "Why did Tom look like he knew her?"

Through some sleuthing of our own, we have determined that neither Claudia nor Tom follow each other on Insta, though that wouldn't exactly be unusual if they are in fact exes! So, we'll just have to wait and see in Love Island First Look!

Who is Claudia Fogarty?

Now onto the new bombshell herself! Claudia is 28, from Blackburn and like her fellow islander Lana Jenkins—whose ex-boyfriend is a celebrity—Claudia also has a few claims to fame...

But let's start with her job first, shall we?

What is Claudia Fogarty's job?

Claudia is a fashion boutique owner, she runs the brand Storm Fashion which offers "handpicked clothing and accessories for the modern woman" with her sister Danielle Fogarty.

They also have another loungewear brand under Storm Fashion called Sister Stories.

Who is Claudia Fogarty's dad?

Like season 8's Gemma Owen, our latest islander also has a famous father! Claudia's dad is none other than motorcycle racer and I'm A Celebrity 2014's "King of the jungle," Carl Fogarty.

Her sister Danielle also famously dated Carl's jungle campmate and former X-Factor star, Jack Quickenden in 2015—with the pair even getting engaged, though they split in 2018.

We wonder how long Claudia will wait to spill the beans on her celebrity link...
