Love Island 2023 has officially kicked off and one islander, in particular, is already causing heads to swivel. So, here's the lowdown of Love Island's Kai Fagan—the islander already tipped to become this season's ultimate heartbreaker...

After entering the villa for the first episode of everyone's fave reality dating show, things are already turning up aces for the new winter Love Island cast member. Not only did he get to breathe the same air as new host, Maya Jama (let's just take a second to appreciate Maya's Love Island outfits), but he also had not one, but three girls choose to couple up with him.

Now in his first couple with islander, Tanyel, fans are keen to know more about Kai—from his job to what exactly he's looking for during his winter of love. So, here's everything we know about him so far...

Who is Love Island's Kai Fagan?

Joining the likes of farmer Will Young and MUA Lana Jenkins, Kai is hoping to find a love match in the villa—or in his words, a "wifey."

And while he already seems to be very popular in the villa, what about his life IRL?

What is Kai Fagan's age?

First things first, let's start with the all-important number question—how old is Kai? The islander is 24 years old and is so far one of the oldest boys in the villa, but not by much—they're all around the 23 to 25 age bracket, bar Harris who is just 21.

In case you were wondering, Kai revealed in the first installment that star sign-wise, he's on the Gemini/Cancer cusp but thinks he's a Cancer. Though he did also say he wasn't "into" star signs...

What is Kai Fagan's job?

Before joining the Love Island lineup, Manchester local, Kai worked as a science and PE teacher—which makes him one of the few teachers we've seen on the show, including the likes of fellow PE teacher Hugo Taylor from Love Island 2021.

Though it already looks like Kai is having more luck in the love department than his teaching predecessor...

How tall is Kai Fagan?

Ah, the other crucial question!

Kai towers over his fellow islanders at 6ft and 4 inches—according to his Love Island intro anyway and says his height makes him very popular with girls and mums apparently...

What is Love Island's Kai Fagan looking for in the villa?

When asked by new Love Island host, Maya why he entered the villa, Kai revealed that he was looking for his future wife.

He also shared in his pre-villa interview with ITV: "I’m single by choice. I’m looking for the right girl. I feel like I have quite high expectations. I don’t feel I should commit to someone unless I’m absolutely buzzing over them, because it’s not fair on them."

Fan predictions for Kai Fagan's Love Island journey

So far, fans are already drawing comparisons between Kai and notorious Love Island heartbreaker Adam Collard—who stirred up alot of trouble in season four and made his dramatic return in Love Island 2022, where he finished fifth with Paige Thorne.

His first coupling up, where three girls initially chose him, with him stepping forward for Tanyel after being chosen by Olivia seems to be what's sparked this—with many now predicting he'll cause some major drama when Casa Amor returns.

In fact, one fan tweeted: "The UK pretending to be shocked in 3 weeks time when Kai brings another girl back from Casa Amor…"

While another fan added: "Why is Kai giving me Adam Collard energy."

Only time will tell though, perhaps Kai will prove to be the opposite of a player...
