So, word on the street is that Love Island season 7 winners, Millie and Liam have reunited a year after their split in 2022—but is there any truth to these romance rumors? Let's investigate...

While we've got our suspicions about when Love Island 2023's starts, it seems we don't have to wait until the summer for some villa-related goss, as a certain former Love Island couple are rumored to be back on, after a year apart.

For those who don't know, Millie and Liam or 'Milliam' if you will, were crowned victorious during the 2021 series (which is up there with some of the best Love Island seasons), despite having one of the most dramatic Casa Amor reunions ever and swiftly went on to move in together. Alas though, they announced their split a year later in joint Instagram statements but now it seems, that wasn't the end of their love story...

Are Millie and Liam back together?

So are Millie and Liam, Love Island's season 7 winners really back together?

While neither Millie nor Liam have confirmed that they have indeed reunited, Liam did recently reveal that he was dating someone but did not name any names. That being said, in May 2023, the pair were spotted on a cruise vacation together in Ibiza, in pictures obtained by the Mirror.

They were then seemingly snapped kissing in the security line at the airport, with a source claiming to the Daily Mail: "There's no denying that Millie and Liam's romance is very much back on. They wanted to keep their relationship private for as long as possible because problems between them happened when they were put under pressure by fans.

"But now they have got to know each other again away from the cameras and spotlight and have reignited the love they first found in the Love Island villa."

Millie then further fuelled the speculation by posting a montage of her trip on Instagram, which clearly showed that she was not alone—from intimate dinner setups to glimpses of a very familiar look arm and watch (a similar timepiece that Liam can be spied wearing in most of his Insta snaps...just saying).

It's safe to say, fans are pretty convinced their back on, with one commenting: "the soft launch..."

While another wrote: Awwww Liam's watch 👀😍"

Liam also posted a ton of holiday snaps, but teased followers further by tagging his location as 'somewhere in Europe.' We'd also like to point out that Millie's best friend and housemate, Chloe Burrows has been liking all of Millie and Liam's holiday posts, which is also rather telling...

Perhaps the 'hard launch' is on the way, watch this space...

Millie and Liam: a relationship recap...

So for anyone very invested in this reunion, here's a recap of their relationship and breakup timeline...

Millie and Liam's 'Love Island' journey

As mentioned, Millie and Liam won season 7 of UK Love Island, after both entering as bombshells.

They immediately hit it off and became fan favorites to win, that is until Casa Amor struck—offering us some of the most memorable Love Island moments ever. To everyone's shock and horror, Liam's head was turned by Casa bombshell, Lillie—with the pair sharing multiple kisses while Millie stayed loyal in the main villa.

Then, at the Casa recoupling, Liam decided to stick with Millie—who was naturally delighted and totally unaware of his antics—well, until the Casa girls were welcomed into the main villa for the first time ever to dish on the behavior. Experience the dramatic moment for yourself...

Despite the betrayal, Liam won Millie back and the pair went on to win the entire series.

Millie and Liam's IRL relationship

Post villa, the pair swiftly moved in together, buying a mansion in Essex with Millie sharing glimpses of their move-in and decorating journey.

Milliam continued going strong for a year, but sadly announced their split a year later, in July 2022—with Millia sharing a statement on her Insta that read: "Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated. It’s been a tough decision and I am gutted but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now..."

Liam also shared a similar message: "Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship. Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared on Love Island & the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does. We’re both ready for new chapters and I’m excited for what’s next."

Luckily for all the Millie and Liam stans out there, as of May 2023, the pair are rumored to be back on!
