Those Mrs. Maisel outfits might just be as popular as Mrs. Maisel herself.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which premieres its fourth season on Friday, February 18, is known as one of the most fashionable TV shows currently streaming, winning the Emmy for Outstanding Period Costumes in 2019 and Costume Designers Guild Awards for Excellence in Period Television in both 2019 and 2020.

Costume designer Donna Zakowska is the eye behind the series' period-perfect clothing, doing intense historical research and pulling from vintage shops and costume houses so that the show and its inhabitants look as accurately 1950s New York as possible.

“Women were very, very conscious of matching—the shoes and the bags being in some sort of color harmony with the outfit,” Zakowska told Entertainment Weekly about Maisel's costuming. “These sort of elements really assert the character’s personality. In a way, Midge is a character that never gives in, even if something terrible is going on. It’s always about putting your best foot forward and an optimism that runs in the character.”

Put your best foot forward with style inspiration from some of the best Mrs. Maisel outfits—and how to copy them in your own closet.

We've never looked this put-together while picking up our butcher-shop order. Never.

Sorry, Gen Z. Midge Maisel was working those cute matching sets before your parents were even born.

3. Midge's ultimate red dress

If you're gonna spend a night in the slammer, at least look this slamming while you do it.

2. Midge's Catskills romper

“Everything with Midge starts with an accessory,” says her mother Rose in one episode. With this perfectly accessorized summer ensemble as proof, that's clearly fashion advice we need to follow.

1. Midge's original LBD

Some things never go out of style, and an Audrey Hepburn-worthy black dress and a double string of pearls are two of them.

How to recreate 'Mrs. Maisel' outfits at home:

First things first: you don't want to look like you're doing 1950s cosplay. Rather, adding a few key retro-inspired pieces to your wardrobe will have you looking timelessly chic, not like you raided your Great Aunt Mildred's closet. (No offense, auntie.)

1. A bold-colored coat

SHEIN Plus Cloak Sleeve Double Breasted Lapel Neck Overcoat ($41.49)

Midge Maisel sports a spectacular candy-colored collection of coats throughout all three seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and since we're not out of the wintry woods yet, take overcoat inspiration with this gorgeous crimson cloak.

2. A statement hat

A Mrs. Maisel outfit is simply not complete without an eye-catching hat to stylishly cap everything off. Midge is the type of gal who has a hat for every outfit, but if you don't want to make that kind of sartorial commitment, a soft cashmere beret in a wear-with-anything neutral will do the trick.

3. A structured frock

To mimic Midge, look for a dress with structure and special details. (A gorgeous jewel tone doesn't hurt either!) This ASOS beauty features a sleek high neck, a bowed belt at the waist, padding at the shoulders and a peek-a-book keyhole at the back.

4. A pair of sling-backs

Step out in vintage style with some sling-back pumps. The classic strappy silhouette in a mid-heel is always en vogue, and a prim-and-pretty blush hue takes this shoe from dressy to daytime.

5. A sweet neck scarf

A jaunty little neck scarf adds an effortless dose of throwback cool to any outfit. Wear it with a ribbed short-sleeve sweater for instant Midge Maisel vibes.

6. A cigarette pant

Sure, fans are used to seeing Midge all dolled up in her fit-and-flare dresses, but when our heroine does go casual, she does so in a pair of comfortable but cool trousers, usually hitting high waist and above the ankle. Opt for ones in a bold color or fun pattern like this houndstooth pair.

7. A classic LBD

Midge Maisel's go-to on-stage look is that closet classic, the little black dress. Choose one with a strong silhouette worthy of the spotlight, like this swinging Alfred Sung number, with its high-low circle skirt, bateau neckline and scoop back.
