Talk about a post-holiday pick-me-up. A new Magic Mike movie is in the works, and the announcement alone is enough to make fans blush.

This news comes on the heels of an indulgent weekend, but now everyone's gearing up for a different type of satisfaction. According to Mike Lane himself (none other than Channing Tatum), the series is set for a third and final installment.

If you thought movies and shows like Bridgerton dialed up the steaminess factor, allow Mike, Ken, Tito and the rest of the gang to show you how it's done. We can't make any promises, but there's a good chance a lot of shirtless shenanigans, and then some, will ensue.

"Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in. @hbomax," Tatum tweeted alongside a photo of the forthcoming film's script.

Reid Carolin has written the movie and Steven Soderbergh will sit in the director's chair once more. Toby Emmerich, Chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to be back in business with Channing, Steven and their creative team to bring back Magic Mike’s wonderful combination of dance, drama, romance and humor.”

Buckle up, folks!

Fans react to the new 'Magic Mike' movie

Upon the news, fans took to social media to tell Tatum—or whoever's curious—just how excited they are for the third movie.

"CHANNING TATUM U HAVE SAVED MY LIFE AGAIN," one Twitter user wrote.

Another gave a thumbs up...and a few recommendations: "Yes! I expect some abs, great dancing from you 'Channing all over my tatum' and please bring back Alex."

'Magic Mike Last Dance': What we know so far

Though many will argue that Magic Mike XXL is the perfect ending for the series, the story will in fact continue. Plot points are under wraps at this time, but it looks like we'll be getting an extra helping of sexiness, laughs and romance. Where to watch 'Magic Mike Last Dance'

Those who have HBO Max are in luck, as the sexy franchise finale will debut exclusively on the platform. There's no word yet about when it will premiere, but we're keeping our fingers crossed for some time in 2022.

You can subscribe to HBO Max for $9.99 per month. For $14.99 per month, you can have an ad-free experience. Sign up below!

What to watch as we wait for 'Magic Mike 3'

Although we're going to have to be patient until the new Magic Mike movie hits our screens, there's plenty to look forward to until then. If you're wondering, the series is keeping its fanbase plenty satisfied.

Not only can you catch up with the films on HBO Max, but the streaming platform will also debut a new show on December 16, 2021 titled Finding Magic Mike, a competition show that's "ready to bare it all."

If you're ready to head back to the theater after a long hiatus, might we suggest the worldwide Magic Mike Live experience? It's certainly a crowdpleaser.

"There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of Magic Mike with Steven, Greg, Reid and the amazing people at HBO Max," Tatum revealed in the statement. "The stripperverse will never be the same."

As they say on Twitter: "Spicy movie night incoming!"
