Yep, after initially hinting at their closeness in November 2022, Selena and Nicola have officially become the epitome of friendship goals, with matching tattoos, to wearing matching custom-made outfits to reign in the New Year. But how long have they been pals exactly?

This pairing is really becoming the friendship we didn't know we needed until we got it and boy, aren't Selena and Nicola cute? But while they're covering each other's Insta feeds right now—their friendship seems relatively new.

The first real hint of these two stars being friends came in November 2022, with the slumber party of our dreams...

November 2022: The slumber party

The pair and a number of their mutual friends got together to celebrate the release of Selena's documentary in November 2022, with a bridal shower-esque night in.

The party had everything from matching pink satin PJs and chunky sliders (they were giving Groovy Chick in the best way) to bowls of candy and even Nicola's husband Brooklyn Beckham, preparing and cooking all the food.

Nicola and Selena then took to their Instagram accounts to share cute moments from the eve, with Nicola posting the cutest snap to her feed of she and Selena hugging.

November 2022: Their first TikTok

Nicola then made their friendship TikTok officially by featuring Selena in her first ever video on the platform. The clip saw Selena chilling with Nicola, Brooklyn and some mutual friends before the pair shared a cute selfie moment.

December 2022: NYE galore!

Selena and Nicola then took their friendship to the next level by not only getting matching tattoos but by wearing matching, custom Valentino gowns at their New Year's Eve party.

The pair covered our Instagram feeds on December 31st with cute snaps of their new inks, photoshoots of them in their sparkly dresses and even gave us a few 'throuple' moments.

Selena shared a carousel of pictures of her having three-way hugs with Nicola and her hubby Brooklyn, plus some adorable BF moments with just Nicola, captioning the photo dump with: "Fine calls us a throuple #foreverplusone."

As for the tattoo, the pair got 'Angel' inked on their arms (same placement and all) in cursive—a name we've spotted Nicola call Selena a number of times in her Insta comments, how cute is that? Definitely a cute micro tattoo idea for anyone in need of inspo!

Is Selena dating Nicola Peltz's brother, Brad Peltz?

Of course, Selena and Nicola's newfound best friend status has got some tongues wagging, with some fans theorizing that their friendship could be the result of Selena dating Nicola's older brother, 33-year-old Brad Peltz. 

Alas though, there is no confirmation of the pair being romantically linked in any way—apart from being in the same room together (per Nicola's TikTok). 

Gossip account DeuxMoi has also rebuffed the claims according to Elle, writing: "I heard they are not together, but that was from someone who knew Bradley and said he wouldn't be her type, so it's just conjecture but that person presented a pretty convincing argument."

So right now, it seems there are no secret romances going on here, just a blossoming best friendship!
