Yes, we've all been wondering who is Corey Mylchreest dating after Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story dropped on Netflix on Thursday, May 4. And it looks like we're not the only one burning for this hunky star.
The Bridgerton spinoff chronicles the meeting and later marriage between real-life monarchs Queen Charlotte (played as a teen by India Amarteifio, with Bridgerton star Golda Rosheuvel reprising the role as an adult) and King George, played by British newcomer Corey Mylchreest. (Actor James Fleet portrays His Majesty in his older years.)
Like Regé-Jean Page and Jonathan Bailey before him ("They are heartthrobs, and they're very lovely people as well," Mylchreest sweetly told E! News about his fellow Ton gents), Corey is the handsome standout of the Bridgerton prequel series. But is the actor dating anyone offscreen? Here's what we know about the rising star and his relationship status.
Who is Corey Mylchreest dating in real life?
Corey Mylchreest shares some major chemistry onscreen with Queen Charlotte's titular heroine, played by actress India Amarteifio, so much so that many viewers are convinced that the performers have taken their romance offscreen. However, as far as we know, Mylchreest and Amarteifio are nothing more than co-stars and good friends. So if she's not his girlfriend, who is?
In an April 2023 interview with Extra at the Los Angeles premiere of the series, the actor revealed that he does, in fact, have a significant other: "I got the audition and then I was told not to watch [Bridgerton], to not try to emulate any performances. But then, as soon as I got the job, I was like, ‘Alright, I gotta binge this thing.’ I sat down with my girlfriend and we did the whole shebang." By the time they finished the first season, season two had just come out, the actor said: "So we did the whole thing in one go."
Alas, Mylchreest hasn't revealed exactly who said girlfriend is, and a perusal of his Instagram page doesn't reveal any major insights into his romantic life. That said, this regal fella is off the market. (Sorrows, sorrows and prayers to us all!)

Who is Corey Mylchreest from 'Queen Charlotte'?
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Corey Mylchreest is a British actor whose role in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is his first major TV job. He has previously featured in shorts like Mars and Elevator Pitch, and acted in the Netflix series The Sandman.
“For the first few weeks of filming, I was a bit of a deer in the headlights,” Mylchreest told Town & Country of his breakthrough performance in Queen Charlotte. “But the final bit of me getting into character would be putting on this ring that had George’s initials on it, and then—because a part of my process was putting music together on a playlist—listening to a specific track.”
“He’s an incredibly complicated character, and a blessing of a character to be able to play,” the actor continued. “Throughout the course of the series, the places that George goes to... well, I'll wait for everyone to tune in and see it, but there's an entire palette and spectrum of emotions and physical places that are demanded of whoever it would've been to play George. And I'm very lucky that it was me.”
Corey Mylchreest age: how old is he?
The exact date of his birth isn't publicly known, but Corey Mylchreest was reportedly born in May 1998, which would make him currently 24 or 25 years old.
