Our love for Zendaya's outfits knows no bounds. Whether she's sweeping along the red carpet in a sheer dress or sporting a high-fashion breastplate, the Euphoria star is an irrefutable fashion icon. So, for anyone wanting to add some Zendaya-approved staples to their capsule wardrobe, here's a look back at her best looks...

There's a reason why she's been named best dressed at the gala on a number of occasions—and don't even get us started on Zendaya NAACP dress! It's safe to say Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach are making history one red-carpet serve at a time—and while there's some drama in that department (we'll get to that!)—we're already manifesting a Zendaya Met Gala 2023 return. Zendaya has proven time and time again that the red carpet is her playground, her looks—whether they're structured suits or glamourous silk gowns, they never fail to make us do a double take. 

And while we didn't get to see Zendaya at the Oscars 2023, she did make one hell of a comeback at the SAG Awards 2023, not to mention Paris Fashion Week. So, while we patiently await Zendaya's next fashion triumph, let's cast our eyes over her best looks from the Oscars, Met Gala and SAG awards, shall we?

This yellow dress from the Oscars 2021 was everything! Zendaya paired the ethereal gown with mermaid waves and literally looked like a vision in yellow.

We can basically attribute the rise of the long/midi skirt trend to Zendaya's 2022 Oscars look—which she did her own glam for, what can't she do?!

Zendaya best Met Gala looks

Zendaya, like Rihanna, is one of the celebs that viewers wait with bated breath to see ascend the Met steps...

This Cinderella-esque dress made the 2019 Met Gala. If you missed it, her stylist Law Roach even at one point waved a wand and Zendaya's dress lit up. She also left a glass slipper on the iconic steps, a true princess moment.

Being perfectly on theme for the 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination' 2018 Met Gala, Zendaya rocked this chainmail number, along with a copper bob!

This incredible floral dress from the 2017 Met Gala was equally as spectacular, we especially love that Zendaya's lipstick matching the orangey hues on her gown.

Zendaya's best red carpet looks

Zendaya's latest red carpet look, also came hand in hand with some cute moments with her beau Tom (who was also in attendance), and her stylist, Law Roach.

Zendaya wore this beautiful purple and gold saree dress to the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on April 01, 2023 in India, which was embellished with tiny stars. 

After what feels like forever (it's only been a few months, but we've really felt it) Zendaya made return to the red carpet for the NAACP Awards and SAG 2023 Awards and it's safe to say, these looks were worth the wait...

This pink Valentino gown with rose decals is just everything and we must say, we're loving the new bob hairstyle.

Can we just appreciate this Zendaya NAACP dress moment? The actress left jaws on the floor with this dramatic green and black Versace dress for the 54th NAACP on February 25, 2023.

While it's one of the many major looks from the Dune press tour, this Balmain dress has got to be up there among Zendaya's best looks. 

A nod to Beetlejuice never looked so good. Zendaya decided to celebrate the premiere of Euphoria's sophomore season with a black and white dress from Valentino's 1992 collection. The scalloped top is the perfect finish, as is the copper hair color. 

Zendaya is one of our favorite examples of how to style a breastplate. This hot pink Tom Ford moment gets a big yes from us.

Shoulder pads never looked so darn cool. This structured suit look dominated the Vanity Fair After-party in 2022, for good reason.

Okay, so we have a  soft spot for a Tom and Zendaya red carpet moment, but this Spider-Man-inspired web lace dress deserves some attention.

Zendaya wore this dramatic red co-ord to the 2021 CFDA Awards and the whole ensemble from the hair to the simple silver jewelry is just *chefs kiss*

Zendaya's street style staples

Zendaya is very private and expertly manages to dodge the paps on her down days, but we’ve received a few glimpses of her everyday looks. Her style is very chic and minimal, she prefers to keep it casual and comfy, often sporting blue jeans to wide-leg trousers.

From what we can tell, she's also a fan of 90s fashion, opting for classic mid-blue jeans, along with casual hoodies, white baby-tees, high-neck and long-sleeve tops and even on occasion, an oversized blazer. She also loves a pair of sneakers and long coats (as per some NYC paparazzi snaps!)

We've also spied a few 70s fashion throwbacks throughout her Instagram, take this oversized denim blazer and suit pants combo.

We’re also very into this chic but casual date night look. Here, Zendaya wears a black bodysuit, and black jeans paired with dewy makeup. Simplicity at its finest!

Where to shop Zendaya's go-to staples

• Jeans: Zendaya can often be seen sporting a pair of high-waisted, mid-blue or black jeans, she likes to pair them with staple white T-shirts, turtlenecks and cozy, oversized hoodies
• Wide-Leg trousers: Zendaya also loves a chic pair of wide-leg trousers (which are very on trend right now), she again pairs them with t-shirts or a matching oversized blazer.
• T-shirts: You can't go wrong with an oversized tee—words Zendaya would definitely agree with, she often wears simple short and long-sleeve tops, both of which you need in your rotation if you're a fan of minimalist fashion.

Who is Zendaya's stylist?

So, who is Law Roach to Zendaya, exactly? Law Roach is Zendaya's stylist (known on socials as Luxury Law) and longtime friend. He has worked with her since she was just 14 years old and has been the creative mind behind her incredible Cinderella-style Met Gala dress and that sculpture-esque Balmain dress—along with all of her red carpet looks to date. He has also previously styled the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy and Bella Hadid.

However, fashion lovers have been despairing after Law Roach announced his retirement on Instagram in a now-deleted post, saying in his caption: "My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who’ve supported me and my career over the years. 

"Every person that trusted me with their image, I’m so grateful for you all. If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not! The politics, the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out."

Why is Law Roach retiring?

There are rumors circulating online that his retirement news is related to Zendaya's new Louis Vuitton contract and the viral video from the LV Paris Fashion Week show, where Law Roach was not seated alongside Zendaya on the front row (P.S we were treated to an adorable Zendaya and Emma Stone moment though). 

While this is a crushing loss for the fashion industry,  Law Roach and Zendaya's iconic partnership will continue as Law followed up the announcement with a tweet, which read: "So y’all really think I’m breaking up with Z….. we are forever!" 

We've also since received confirmation that the pair will continue to work together with their appearance at the NMACC on April 1, 2023. Phew!
