It seems this Amelia Dimoldenberg and Paul Mescal moment at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party flew somewhat under the radar and we're here to rectify that—mostly because she needs to start giving out flirting lessons.

While we were robbed of an Amelia Dimoldenberg/Andrew Garfield interaction (it still hurts), a number of other A-listers succumbed to Amelia's charms, from Pedro Pascal to Shawn Mendes' rumored girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter and of course, Oscar nominee, Paul Mescal.

The Aftersun and Normal People star had a blush-inducing exchange with the Chicken Shop dater and it's actually not the first time they've enjoyed this kind of meet-cute. Looks like Spider-Man's got some competition from Connell...

The Amelia Dimoldenberg and Paul Mescal moment you might have missed

You know the drill—Chicken Shop Date host Amelia takes to the red carpet with her microphone and sets sparks flying with nearly every interviewee. So far, she's chatted to stars at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, the Golden Globes and now the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. It's safe to say, her talent for whipping up chemistry with the celebs of the world is truly unrivaled and her latest interview with Paul Mescal is already up there with the best.

So, what happened exactly? Let us set the scene for you. It's the Vanity Fair red carpet—sheer dresses everywhere—Paul Mescal arrives to chat with Amelia, wearing a white suit, complete with a red rose corsage and almost immediately Amelia asks: "Do you identify as a heartthrob?"

Taken back and adorably bashful, Paul replies: "Do I? No I don't, I don't identify as a heartthrob."

"I think you are." Amelia quips, to which Paul, looking at the floor relatably flustered, responds: "That's very nice of you to say."

Amelia then goes on to compliment his corsage, dubbing it 'romantic' before they both agree that it's a fake rose, not a real one. Then, seemingly remembering that Paul is an Oscar Nominee and has places to be, Amelia says: "Anyway, you've got to go."

Paul laughs, agreeing: "I gotta go," before adding, "You're cool," a compliment Amelia reciprocates: "You're cool."

Then they bid farewell to each other, but not before Amelia says: "I'll see you on the dancefloor!"

And Paul replies: "See you on the dancefloor—on a table!" Cute!

Like with the viral Amelia Dimoldenberg and Andrew Garfield interview, this actually isn't the first time Amelia and Paul have chatted on the red carpet. They met previously at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, where Paul told her that he liked her Chicken Shop Date YouTube show—cute!
