Let’s do some detective work, shall we?

Are Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde engaged?

It seems these rumors all began on a celebrity gossip account. If you’re an avid Instagram scroller, you have likely come across the account Deuxmoi and its one million+ followers.

This site reveals "blind items" about celebrities, which are anonymous revelations/stories that do not have factual data or an original source. So yes, it's a bit suspicious, but the account is oftentimes right on the money, so it's hard to resist a peek.

Deuxmoi responded to a user who asked if the couple was actually engaged following Coachella, and the "pop culture curators" said, “I think there is a high probability that they are. I’ve been saying for literal months that they are VERY serious and no one ever wants to believe me.”

The Deuxmoi account tweeted, “Guys! I’m not joking. I did not see a ring but someone gave me information that leads me to believe this is true. They gave me the info the day I posted the blind about this.”

Fans seem to have taken this as gospel, and some are less than pleased.

Fan reactions to the engagement rumors

This revelation has rocked a lot of people's worlds, one fan tweeted: "Harry Styles is engaged just fell to my knees in a Aldi." We appreciate the dramatics.

Another wrote, "Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde being engaged?! Alexa, play 'Loved You First.'"

So, are Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde ACTUALLY engaged?

Until there is official confirmation from either party, we should assume they're not betrothed, although they are fairly tight-lipped about their love life, so will we ever know for sure?

Is Olivia Wilde pregnant?

As if the engagement rumors were not enough, the internet has graciously started pregnancy rumors for the new couple.

In 2021, Wilde attended one of her beaux's shows, and a person in the audience caught her dancing on camera. She looked adorable, happily rocking out, but all of the focus was on her "bump."

The allegations actually sparked a fierce reaction, as some insisted they're knit-picking Wilde's figure. Commenters stated that the "baby bump" was simply her figure, which we might add, should not really be open for debate.

Likewise, the trend followed in March 2022 when they stepped out in London. Though both were wearing casual clothes, everyone was quick to examine the actor's blue sweater. Why so baggy? What is she hiding? Never mind the fact that this ensemble is not one of Harry Styles' iconic outfits, all eyes must go directly towards his leading lady.

History repeated itself—again—after the release of Harry's House, and Harry Styles' NYC concert. (If you missed "One Night Only in New York," we'll tell you how to catch up with an encore performance.)  Wilde was seen in a large t-shirt several days after Styles' album release in May 2022, which got the baby bump rumors turning once more.

Once again, until the rumors are confirmed by either party, it's best to question the info and dig into each headline with a grain of salt. Take a break from wondering and  check out Styles in the Don't Worry Darling trailer. (Wilde directs the movie.).
