Watermelon Sugar needs no introduction. It’s one of Harry Styles’ biggest hits because first of all, it’s an absolute bop, but also because it has a rather suggestive meaning. Up until now, Harry has left this up to our imagination, but now he’s finally confirmed what Watermelon Sugar actually means.

We had our own suspicions (and well, hopes) of what the cheeky lyrics ‘I just wanna taste it, I just wanna taste it, Watermelon sugar high’  were referring to.  Not to mention the lines that go, ‘Tastes like strawberries, on a summer evenin’—but now having it confirmed by Harry himself really hits different.

During one of his concerts in Nashville, Harry—who is currently dating Olivia Wilde—finally let us in on its true and hotly anticipated meaning.

As Watermelon Sugar’s intro began to play he said: “It doesn’t really matter what it’s about…” he then trailed off and said, “It’s about the sweetness of life.”

But as Harry began to sing the first few lines he stopped and said: “It’s also about the female orgasm,” and then jokingly turned away and said: “but that’s totally different and not really relevant,” as his fans started to scream.

This revelation, though not exactly new information, has gone down very well with fans. One took to Twitter and said: "Yeah sex is cool but have you heard harry styles saying that his grammy-winning song watermelon sugar is about female orgasm live."

Another wrote: "harry officially confirming that watermelon sugar is about the female orgasm makes the song a million times better."

It’s not just this iconic moment that’s made Harry blow up on TikTok and Twitter recently. His shows have seen him have hilarious back and forths with fans, responding to their banners and he even did a gender reveal for a fan and parent to be.

Fans even got treated to some golden Harry Styles dating advice, where a fan waved a banner at him that said: “Should I text him?”

We can now safely say that all of this is going to be living rent-free in our heads forever.
