Chrissy Teigen deletes Twitter – a look back at the best tweets from the queen of the comeback

Chrissy Teigen has gifted us a genius life hack for preventing maskne, major micro tattoo inspiration and hilarious social media moments throughout the years. But now the unthinkable has occurred, Chrissy Teigen has deleted Twitter. 

Regarding the reason for her shocking departure from the platform, on which the supermodel-entrepreneur had more than 13.7 million followers, Teigen said the platform had become too negative and it was no longer making her happy or making her feel like herself, and said it was time for her to say goodbye.

‘My life goal is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I don’t is too much for me. I’ve always been portrayed as the strong clap-back girl and I’m just not,’ Teigen posted. 

One of her final tweets read: ‘Your words always matter...For years I have taken so many small, 2-follower count punches that at this point, I am honestly deeply bruised.’

Remember that time she tweeted President Joe Biden asking him to follow her since Donald Trump blocked her – and he did?! Teigen became one of the 11 people the US president followed at the time, and the only celebrity.

And then later, when she asked Biden to unfollow her again because she felt like she couldn’t be rude any more. 

Teigen tweeted: ‘I have tweeted a handful of times since my treasured @POTUS following. In order for me to flourish as me, I must ask you to please lord unfollow me. I love you!!! It’s not you, it’s me!!!!’ What a glorious time to be on Twitter.

There was the time when Teigen was an eternal mood when asked why she had made her Twitter private. Frankly, we’d love this printed on a T-shirt.
