The internet is going wild for Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's seriously wholesome reunion at the Grammys

Most of us can relate to having an ex, with whom things didn't exactly end All Too Well but Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's reunion at the Grammys proves that perhaps you can be friends with an ex after all, or at least, celebrate their successes.

In case you missed the Grammys 2023 and need caught up on what all the fuss is about—Ms. Swift caused quite a stir. Not only did Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny share the cutest moment together, but the Anti-Hero singer gave OG 'Haylor' stans the reunion of their dreams, as she and Harry shared a rare and very sweet interaction.

Not only did Swifties spot Taylor vibing out to Harry's set, but they also saw her giving him a standing ovation on a number of occasions (despite the pair being rivals in the Song of The Year category), especially when he scooped Album Of The Year.

Movingly still, the Grammy cam also caught Taylor's very real reaction to Harry getting heckled whilst accepting said award—where someone yelled out that Beyoncé should have won. She was seen standing throughout his speech and no doubt, the moment brought back some memories of that 2009 VMAs moment. 

Then came the moment that really sent the internet wild, as Taylor was spotted stopping by Harry's table to say hi and congratulate him—with the pair even sharing a lil' hug. How cute is that?

As you can imagine, this rare interaction sparked a fair amount of reactions from the Swiftie and Styles universes as they felt at peace for a blessed moment. And yes, we've rounded up a few of the best, or should we say—Golden reactions...

Others also felt like they were getting deja-vu, with one fan tweeting: "I dont wanna be dramatic but here is Taylor Swift looking at Harry Styles the exactly same way she used to."

While another fan quizzed: "Which was more culturally significant the renaissance or taylor swift dancing to harry styles" It's definitely a close one...

And these TikTok fan-edits pretty much sum up the overall feeling—we especially liked how fans spotted Harry seemingly desperately fixing his hair when he spotted her walking over.

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's relationship timeline

With Harry's recent relationship with Olivia Wilde and Taylor's long-term but uber private romance with Joe Alwyn, some of you may have forgotten that Taylor and Harry did actually date!

The pair were first linked in 2012 and dated for a few months before calling it quits in 2013.  During their relationship, they gave iconic moments like that Central Park stroll—when Taylor was in her full-fringe hairstyle era.

Their relationship also gave us a number of ballads, with many fans thinking a lot of songs from Taylor's 1989 album are about Harry, including Style and Out Of The Woods. 

While neither has really ever commented on their romance, Taylor previously touched on the relationship that inspired her track, "Out Of The Woods" in a video for the Grammy Museum in 2015, saying: "The number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety, because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative. And it always felt like, ‘Okay, what’s the next road block? What’s the next thing that’s gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?’ 

"And so, you know, I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that’s kind of what you hope for, for it to be solid and healthy but that’s not always what you get. And it doesn’t mean that it’s not special and extraordinary just to have a relationship that’s fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility.”

Harry himself has also spoken on what he thinks about having songs written about him, he said in an interview with Howard Stern on the Howard Stern Show in 2020: "I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she’s a great songwriter. So at least they’re good songs."

Since their split, we haven't seen a lot of interactions between the pair, except an equally sweet reunion moment at the 2021 Grammys (where she wore that iconic floral dress) —but this latest display of support seems to prove there's no Bad Blood between them.
