Hilary Duff has a brand new look, and it's a much bolder blonde than her alter-ego Lizzie McGuire was known for.

The star, who gave birth to her third child a few weeks ago, revealed her new 'do on Instagram over the weekend, and it's icy blonde Disney princess perfection. She captioned the image: "Have you noticed that I’m blonde.... and Rapunzeled??? @nikkilee901 you are hair fairy goddess and I thank you for going down all my hair-ventures with me.

"Especially for all the tender loving care you treat my hair with when you have to undo what I make you do - she loves me.... she really really loves me 🥰  thanks for making this lady feel half summer ready.... now what can you do for a post baby bod???"

According to Stylecaster, the new look took eight hours to create and involved two rounds of color remover to lift the vibrant blue shade that Duff had previously colored her hair.

"We (Lisa Satron and I) used a Great Lengths combination of tape-in and individual keratin bonded extensions in 18″ and 20″ in for the perfect look,” Nikki Lee, co-founder of Nine Zero One salon, told the publication.

"Great Lengths’ Tapes Plus adds that extra dose of perfection. We mixed the rooted and bronde tape-ins in the back of the head and individual keratin tip extensions in front and sides for the most moveable effortless look."

We're sure you'll agree, this new shade of blonde suits Hilary down to a tee.
