If he had her love, they'd still be together—but alas, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have split after a two-year engagement, according to Page Six.

Neither JLo or A-Rod have released an official statement about the separation, but there have been social media clues that something was amiss with the superstar couple. Lopez posted a throwback video on her Instagram yesterday with the caption: "Find a good reason to laugh today 😂🤣 Sending everyone love ❤️"

Rodriguez seems to be nursing his broken heart aboard a boat, as he posted a solo seaside shot today with the caption: "Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie ⛵️" The former Yankee is reportedly in Miami, while JLo is said to be filming her latest movie, Shotgun Wedding, in the Dominican Republic.

We last publicly saw the singer-dancer with her baseball-icon fiancé at the Super Bowl in early February. (Lopez had taken part in one of the best Super Bowl halftime performances of all time with Shakira the year before.) Prior, the famous twosome attended Joe Biden's presidential inauguration, where JLo performed "This Land Is Your Land" and had everybody getting loud. However, the famous twosome—who are both frequent social media posters—have tellingly not posted about each other on their Instagram feeds since late February.

The couple had been dating for nearly four years and had been engaged for two, but had to postpone their wedding twice since A-Rod put a giant ring on it in 2019, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lopez had told Access Hollywood in December: “We had to cancel the wedding because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.” The wedding would happen "when the time is right," Lopez said: "I feel like it’s not a huge priority to go and have a big wedding right now, that’s not what life is about."

The breakup comes in the wake of leaked private DMs between Rodriguez and reality-show star Madison LeCroy, who is a cast member on Bravo's Southern Charm. In an interview with Us Weekly on Wednesday, LeCroy's Southern Charm co-star Shep Rose revealed that LeCroy had signed a non-disclosure agreement about direct messages and FaceTime sessions with the former MLB player.

Whether the DMs were the root of the breakup remain to be seen, but Lopez did admit to Allure in this month's cover story that the fiancés had entered couples' therapy during quarantine. "It has been actually really good. We got to work on ourselves. We did therapy," the singer said. "I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship."

This was Jennifer Lopez's fifth engagement; she was previously married to singer Marc Anthony, dancer Cris Judd, and actor Ojana Noa, and had famously been engaged to Ben Affleck, sparking the joined moniker "Bennifer". Alex Rodriguez was married to teacher Cynthia Scurtis from 2002 to 2008.

All we know is there's definitely going to be some good breakup songs to come.
