Kim Kardashian had the best reaction to this Bridgerton bombshell
Who knew that Kim Kardashian was the ultimate Bridgerton Stan?

Our love for Bridgerton never seems to take a dip—even though it aired all the way back in December, we still just can’t get enough. As we all eagerly await the release date of Bridgerton season 2, no one seems to be more excited than Kim Kardashian.
Kim K was a little late to the Bridgerton party but has now risen to number one fan status, as she’s become just as obsessed as we are. She, too, shared in our heartbreak when it was announced that The Duke of Hastings would not be returning for season two, and she even got her sister Kendall Jenner to watch.
Now Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, has dropped the ultimate revelation.

Coughlan tweeted: “As the world’s number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings? Because I feel like she should know this.”
And the exchange that came after is amazing.
WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!! https://t.co/KVnCi6UZRTApril 20, 2021
Kardashian replied: "WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!" Imagine having Kim Kardashian as your fangirl.
OMG I’m gonna faint!!!!!! Does this make me an honorary Duchess in Bridgerton ?!?!?!? I am the corset Queen!!! 😉 https://t.co/pMDp15kVFpApril 20, 2021
Coughlan then responded: “Omg yesss of course we would love to have you! Also, did you know that Mr Pearl made your corset for the Met Gala and the very next one he made was mine for Bridgerton? You’ve been part of the Bridgerton world for longer than you know!❤️❤️❤️”
To which Kim K. asked if she could become an honorary Duchess because after all, she is the “corset queen.”
Although the Featherington family from the books by Julia Quinn are not based on the Kardashians, it’s clear that the reality-show stars played a part in bringing the characters to life on set.
One thing is for sure—we’re the number one fans of this budding friendship!
