But does LiLo have more exciting news for us? Namely, is she checking into The White Lotus season 3 cast? Here's why fans are speculating on social media. 

A Lindsay Lohan Thailand pic is fueling 'White Lotus' rumors

Fans dreamcasting the upcoming season of The White Lotus is nothing new: those viral "send to The White Lotus" memes has viewers wishing that everyone from Samantha Jones to Miss Flo would join the cast of the HBO Max hit for its third season. 

But recent reports that season 3 will be taking place in Thailand has some social-media sleuths convinced that the Mean Girls star might just be popping up at The White Lotus resort. 

On Wednesday, March 29, Twitter user @robertkessler reposted a tweet from @nomadicmatt who pointed out that "the Amanpuri in Phuket just suddenly closed for 2 months. 99% it's there," suggesting that the third season of the series would be trading in its usual Four Seasons setting for the luxury Thai beach resort. 

Robert then made the connection that the hotel has already seen a very glamorous guest: Lohan previously posted photos of herself luxuriating in the resort's pool on her Instagram back in 2017. (The photos have since been deleted.)

Given that Lohan already knows her way around the property, might the real-life guest portray a fictional guest soon. Fans sure hope so!

What will 'The White Lotus' season 3 be about?

“The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex,” The White Lotus' creator, director and writer Mike White said in the “Unpacking S2 E7” clip that played after the show's shocking season 2 finale. 

“I think the third season would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

Sounds like just the thing for our favorite funny redhead, no?
